I am joining you as i type with some GSC in the Ti!
    Amazing whitewalls every hit!

Using my NewVape Fine Grinder has boosted it's performance with such a fine grind!

Yes I used it with the XL earlier and performance was better from the off. Vapor stayed constant for longer.
I think the Ti will benefit even more from the fine grinder, it extracts so quick, the bits less exposed miss the race. I bet this grind consistency helps even that out.

I got home and there were a couple of handles waiting for me.
They actually fit much better than these pictures show, they can be pushed all the way in and sit flush.

Ordered some replacement parts (bowl and flower injector)and the stand... and Sebastien sent me for free the silicone cover for the handle, thanks!

The stand is a lot better than my diy stand. It's heavy enough to be stable and the sleek design is pretty nice. The silicone keep the handle warm but not too hot, it's nice too.

Sebastien told me it is working on a conic shaped bowl for small amounts and more efficient concentrates vaporization at low temp since the heat would be concentrated cause the thinner vaporpath...

I received a discount code for my next order on Herborizer.com... hmmm what can I do? order the XL heating element+bowl or one of their famous water tool...?

Yesterday morning I vaped a bowl with 0.15 of charras a friend gave me on level 6... big cloud after big cloud after big cloud it took me at least 40 milky hits to vape it evenly, 30mn later I was pretty well medicated for the morning ( a bit too much..;), yes, the Ti is... Terrible!

Looking for some advice please? I own a mighty and love it but i'm now in the market for another vape as I don't feel the mighty hits me quite hard enough to suit all my needs.

I currently work 6am-2pm x2, 2pm-10pm x2, 10pm-6am x2 - 4 days off and suffer from insomnia alot due to the shift pattern throwing my sleep schedule out of whack for my days off.

What I want the vape for is to hit maybe .1-.4 (flower only, I don't dab) in one quick as possible session before bed to put me down before my first early and after I get in from my 2 night shifts.

However I am having trouble deciding between the Herborizer Ti and VapeXhale Cloud Evo, I suffer from Asthma and abused my lungs for the last 8 odd years smoking tobacco + mj heavily till I quit, so I don't have great lung capacity or strength and am a bit worried about:

    - If the Herborizer Ti might be bit too aggressive for me, IE the vapour produced is too potent to toke? (I've used a Volcano and I couldn't start at 230c and actually toke out of the bag, it would just instantly make me cough, though there was a fair amount of MJ in the chamber at the time)

(To put it in a bit more perspective, I cannot vape my mighty at higher than 180c (356f) without full on 'mouth only toking' or using a water tool and even with a water tool (https://vapefiend.co.uk/the-honey), starting at 210c can be a bit intense, thought not sure whether a bigger water tool would change that as mine is admittedly tiny.)

    - How does the Herborizer handle multiple hits during a session, is there loss of vapour inbetween? Can you leave the heating element in the glass bowl or do you have to always remove between each toke? (It seems to pour out of my mighty without putting finger over mouth piece.)

    - Whats the risk of combustion given that it its not out of the question for me to get distracted mid session sometimes and forget i'm still vaping.... (IE How long can you leave it on before it burns, if it does?)

    - Whats the performance difference between Ti and Cloud Evo and is there any difficulty in getting it to perform better if someones used both? IE Do you have to jump through hoops heat soaking glass bowl etc to get a superior performance over EVO etc?

Many thanks! And sorry for so many questions/wall of text!

If you are only interested in herbs the Herbo Ti is one of the best desktops for sure. It's so smooth. Working at lower temps too. And I've pretty sensitive lungs.
I like it more than the Evo. But i've tried the Evo just a few times. Smoother and better vape profile IMO.
To each his own but I like a preheating in the bowl (w/o herbs!) and microdosing for saving flavours. Two medium hits and it's over w/o deminishing of flavour. Large loads will suffer tastewise over time cause of the bowl heating. And more if you leave the heating element in the bowl for longer time without drawing. Therefore I put the heating element to side between hits. But it'll not burn the herbs. A few times I was so stoned that I felt in sleep before switching off my Herb Ti (did I say that the Herb Ti is a very hard hitter?). The next days the herb was quite dark but not burnt. I also never came to combustion while hitting.
More pros of the Herb Ti. It's nice, small, light and easy to carry.
Up to now the best desk vape I've ever tried. The Sublimator was too harsh for me.
If you are going just with herbs may be the Supreme 3 (torchable but there'll come a new version with integrated heater the next time) or the Glass Symphony (it's all glass but really huge!) could be an alternative?
If you should like the option for using concentrates you better give the NewVape Flower Pot a try.

I do not have the CloudEvo, but I am asthmatic and have been forced to totally stop smoking tobacco, then even Weed because of it.
The balloons (EQ or Volcano) does not suit me either.
The only "negative" point of TI is, in comparison to the other vapo tested, that it is the one with the most pronounced sedative effect (maybe what you're looking for).
It's also the only who turn my eyes on the same red colour as when i combusted.

Thanks! Based on what you said I think the Ti is the one I will go for, though I did have a couple more questions:

    - When you micro dose, how much are you hitting at a time?

    - For how long do you pre-heat the glass bowl?

Thanks! Yes the sedative effect to put me to sleep is what I'm after so definately a plus for me.

Bowl pre heat time varies depending on chosen temp, but it is between 10 and 20 minutes.

0.05 to 0.1g. Two medium slow draws and a few whispy suckings to get the rest out of my herbs but not really worth it.
Preheating 10-15 minutes in the bowl (without herbs!) at 6. Starting the first draw at 4.5 for flavours the 2nd draw at 5-5.5, the rest at 6.0. At 6.0 it's very intense to me and my lungs if set already for the first draw. Not while inhaling, that's smooth as nothing but exhaling mostly makes me cough then.
But you'll find your sweet spots for sure.

I f intend to buy the Herb Ti two points.
    1) the nail element isn't worth the higher price. For dabbing there are much better options than using the Ti.
    2) buy the new stand with the heavy stainless base for the heater. It prevents the heater against turning over with burnings of you furniture or yourself which can happen pretty fast

IDK if it was still mentionned but the Ti is a very low electricity consumption unit, comparable to a log vape it can be used with a 12v power pack or on your car battery.

This is a very big difference with the enail style flower vapes using a coil where there is a very big heat deperdition.

It's an important feature for me since it's time to refrain ourself to consume too much energy. No more "bigger is better" for now!

My area is devasted by a butterfly coming from Asia in a plane in 2008, all the trees called Buxus (Buis ) are dead for now and this tree was wild and now there is a lot of dead Buxus along the roads and in the forest, not a nice vue... and there was no real rains since end of April!

It would be even more sustainable if it was all Ti: no breakage, no need for additional glass melting to produce new bowls or heater covers, no additional shipping for spare parts (maybe consuming a little more due to metal exchanging heat faster with cold air around it)

Lifetime lasting (life span of the heating cartridge), like a log

    @Ech0_ :

Cannabis is expectorant, more hot you go on fresh bowl more you will cough.

Water filtration and small puff are the key if you want consume the full spectrum of the cannabis in one hit without cough. ( quite impossible in my experience)

For me, Sativas are good for day time and indicas make me sleep.

I read lot of FC'ers who Dab for insomnia ...

I forgot to count the cons of the Herb Ti IMO:

I like the classic straight lined design of the temp controller. But it's handling isn't satisfying to me.

    1) You don't know when set temp has reached. There should be a 2nd control lamp which switches on or off when set temp has reached.

    2) I don't like the freewheeling control button. It has two lacks:
    - you can't feel blind where you have set it
    - set temp can change easily when the button has any contact to other things cause it's so easy dialing.

    It should click into place!

Fuck my poor english. Can't explain what I mean with the right words, I guess. Hope you understand what I mean!?

As a owner of a cloud EVO and herbo ti... I can say that the hero his harder, but less flavor. You are able to micro dose with the ti far superior to the EVO. The ti is smooth but so is the EVO, it's a hard call I'm still in the honeymoon phase with the ti.... But that's what I can give for right now.

Oh and I'm a shift worker like yourself. The ti... Does put me for flowers. But dabs.... EVO all the way.

Hogni your use of English is always perfectly clear what you mean. I like the way somebody can use more improvisation when speaking a foreign language, to convey meaning.

It means not being strictly correct and "proper", but free from chains. We are certainly restricted by our languages in the way we express thought. This is one huge way learning other languages helps. Respect to all of you who are not English first speakers!

So anyway, carry on man, and see not being "perfect" 100% is actually an advantage, like a wider track where you can even make up your own rules, as long as people know what you mean. It's mad isn't it?! But a good thing, I actually do try and misuse language to be less shackled by the comcepts of thought and expression that are tied into the origins of our language.

Sorry, random shit! I just hit a bowl of Think Different in the Omnivap. Just one bowl and Im surprisingly high, real sativa like!:) It is a different pheno to the other Think Differents, a super lemony one, proper "dank" as they say.

I did also have edibles before food today though, and 2 bowls before that.

BUT... My XL injector malfunctioned 2 weeks ago. It was new last August after my original one from VDNM was defective and they replaced it for me. Great guys there!

But this one has packed up. It is not covered by warranty but they said send it back we'll see what we can do. So I am missing the XL. I need a variety of vapes in a way, partly because each vaporizer affects my allergies in a different way, so it helps to chop and change.

Like different strains different vapes literally can be. So can't wait to get the XL working again, now that I have fresh meds for it. The XL does have amazing taste, and is certainly not redundant with the king Ti around town now!

That's all, just some high thoughts. Need to try and do more strain testing now, probably don't need to, but not enough hours in day to vape as much as I would like!;)

    @Alexis, appreciate your understanding!

Congrats to your new herbs! No allergic reactions? Your harvest?

Will go the next day to VDNM. If I can do something for you drop me a line.

I wonder why nobody is discussing my statement to the temp controller!?

It's time to vape for me. It's nearly midnight and I haven't found time for vaping the whole day.

Shall i use the Herbo Ti? In the evening it's always smashing my brain and pushs me pretty fast to sleep

I agree, also the LED is unnecessary bright, in a dark room is kinda annoying.,

I prefer continuous rotary controls (no clicks) but I agree that the wheel could be a bit harder to turn.

Sunday night with the herbo Ti!
Decided to go back to my original use, high temp with fast inhale for max extraction.

Set at 6,25 and a pinch on the preheated and soaked bowl.
Massive whitewall, better have big lungs to clear the tube!!
    Great taste as always!

@lazylathe it's great to see you still enjoying your top 3 vapes while you have been very busy preparing to move! You must be quite excited about the upcoming change and the golden chance to start a fresh new chapter. Sincerely hope it all works out for you in every way, best of luck anyhow!

I wonder- are you moving to be closer to Biohacker? Or further way, like, just out of reach?;)

So anyway as you know my XL injector packed up after it was replaced brand new 12 montgs ago. I sent it to verdampftnochmal. They offered me a new injector plus shipping for €100. So a €17 discount.

I emailed Sebastien and asked if he could offer me a better deal in light of my misfortune to have two faulty injectors. I look after my vapes extremely well. Just bad luck.

Sebastien is really such a cool and friendly guy you know. He always gets back to you in the most friendly and heartfelt manner, whatever your query is, and you always get the feeling that he genuinely cares.

He asked me to send him my injector and he will repair it. So I managed to get the guys at VDNM to finally locate my injector which they seemed a bit confused about having, and they happily agreed to send it to Sebastien for me.

So I have not been enjoying my vaporizers properly the last three and a half weeks now. I have the Omnivap and a log vaporizer, but both have far too much draw restriction for my liking, as daily drivers that is. Just too much time sucking on tight airpaths to get enough medication into me day in, day out.

I speak up for the Omnivap, I do like it, but only when used in adjunction to a bigger hitter that allows faster blast off. I can completely see why @Carlos8400 felt the vapcap just couldn't satisfy his moderately high tolerance, especially when compared to the beastly Ti!

My own tolerance has risen quite a lot recently now that I'm not having to ration my meds for the first time in 12 years. Busy curing multiple jars now but so important to get it right for best results and longevity. The biggest mistake is letting it dry too much. 6 OZ's from just 2 autos went in too dry after humidity levels dropped, reading 56% intially then up to 59%.

60% is my minimum stable RH inside jar at jarring time, ideally 63 - 65%, so you basically are in control of the cure and can open the jars as iften as you like without fearing the material over drying.

So I put humidipaks in the jars fpr 2 days shut, supposedly to get them back to 62%.
A few weeks later and I realised last week that the jars are all at 64% and need burping more. It didnt help that my 2 Caliber 111 digital hygrometers were 1% apart. Im pretty sure the higher reading is accurate now, so the jars had slightly more moisture than I realised, but I'm pleased about this because it means I haven't messed up the cure so much by over drying.

Back no topic- cant wait to get the XL back again. It broke before I had a chance to test out the Newvape fine grinder, which will undoubtedly improve the performance of the XL and enable bigger hits from medium loads.

My friend Dave still has my Ti, I'm going to visit him soon for a session and will definitely be trying the Ti out again.

By the way it seems like it's full price at the Lacentralevapeur now, and the pound is shit as fuck against the euro now- practically equal, so the Ti full package which I got fpr £253 would be over £350 now! Lucky Dave!

That's all guys (this is a man's thread!;))! Hope you all are fine and dandy and loving your Ti's/XL's.

And massive respect to Sebastien. He also told me he is designing a bowl for the Ti to work with essential oils and concentrates. He sent me a photo. It has a small inner glass bowl. (I tried to display it but no joy.)

He should overwork the controller. Red led away and a led under the knob with a transparent mark so you can see your dialed position in the dark too. Actually the red light is so blaring I can't easily see the dialed postion even at day.
And dialed positions should stay more secure locked - all suggestions if you, @Alexis, should talk with him again.

BTW my heat injector felt onto tee floor and I believe it's protrusion has changed. What was optimal protrusion? 4-6mm?

During the called accident the hot heater felt onto a carpet out of some plastic material. I couldn't wipe away all of the melted stuff. Now it has a plain surface but you can see some discolourations of the plastic material. PBW and ISO don't work. Any suggestions?

Yes the reccommended heater prortrusion was 5mm, but @lazylathe felt he was having better results ar 4mm, better taste, more even browning
So I would try that, but make sure the inner post is flush with the outside part, you can adjust both seperately.

Personally, I dont have an issue with the controller. I never have had any issue with it moving by itself. It has always held its position well and is very easy to adjust.
I admit not the easiset to read ib dim light, but not nearly as bad as the dial on the log vape I have been trying out. God you can't see what number it is at even in bright light hardly! Black dial, black notches. If I wasn't so low of energy I would mark it up better.

However, I will try and reme, ber to mention it to Seb. Maybe your dial is a bit looser than mine?

I also burned a dust cloth on my Ti heater. It melted and stuck to the Ti. At the time I just gave it a wioe with a damp kitchen paper and then dipped tissue in iso and a quick wipe and then a burn off to get rid of any fumes.

As long as nothing toxic is offgassing then it shouldn't matter too much. I started tgis reply hours ago but have been busy trimming a Durban plant for jarring, before the light faded. Just did it. About 43 grams from that one in total, was only in a 9 liter pot as well so not bad for a really small pheno as well. The other Durban was massive, different pheno altogethr, totally different aroma. It had 86 grams, but was in a 15 liter pot.

Im also cooking up the first lot of sugar leaves into coconut oil, decarbed in oven, will heat low for 3 hours tonight, strain it tommorrow now and make some amazing cannabis tea by straining the leftovers in muslin in boiling water.

    @Hogni

I am at 5mm right now.
The protrusion all depends on your method of use, higher up means hotter temps but better flavor while lower i could go lower temps but it scorched easily.

As for cleaning the Ti, i would use a rotary instrument with a Scotch-Brite pad, works awesome!

@Alexis Thank you for your kind words! Estate agent is around tomorrow night and house should be on the market by Wednesday! This week off has been hell on my body but the herbo was there to help!
And a bit further from @biohacker unfortunately...
