Hah, you guys have me all jealous.

On the plus side, Haze will likely be shipping my new unit out tomorrow. And I may recieve my stems from Ed tomorrow or Saturday.

I'm really looking forward to trying out the Haze and Flowermate stems that Ed has worked so diligently on.

This is just a quick thank you, to all of you who post here. I've been lurking for a bit. I got into vaping fairly recently.Started off with a DaVinci, and quickly realized the benefits of vaporizing. I know I won't be burning my herbs any more. So I decided to get another vaporizer so I'd always have a spare. I chose the Haze, and I really like it so far. The discussions on this board really helped me figure out what to buy.

So thanks!

Could you give us a general comparison between the Ascent and the Haze? Do you prefer the features of one over the other? Any info would be helpful, thanks.

I don't have the Ascent, I have the original DaVinci. It's a perfectly good vaporizer. A bit hard to clean, and not as versatile as the Haze, but it gets the job done.

I picked up my 19female-14female adapter so I can use my WonG from @Ed's TnT. It works great!! It's 100x more stable than the one I jimmy rigged for sure lol.. It's holds the Haze nice and level. Also has a very good airtight seal on the glass and the Haze. The end that supports the haze is contoured to the shape of the lever for a nice fit and has a groove for the o-ring in the Haze. Ed just made my Haze experience much more enjoyable! If u have water pipes I definatly say pick this up! Plus it's gorgous!!

Damn it!!! My 2nd haze unit is already malfunctioning. My 1 bowl heats up properly and the light stops blinking, but my other bowl just blinks and heats up to the point of combustion. I'm going to lose my shit

<- also a glass noob. Did you purchase it within the US or is it a Chinese bubbler?

I really want to purchase a bubbler but I have no clue what to look for.

I did purchase it at a LHS and it is a liquid sci but each chamber is 10 arms. I do have more Chinese pieces check out the cheap high quality bubbler thread

Hey Nick...those videos look awesome man..I will order my parts from Ed next week or so. I did not have a chance to contact him yet. I work some long long shifts lately. I took Haze to work for the first time on Thursday night and smoked discreetly during my breaks. Such a cool experience.

I am enjoying my Haze thinking it would be more pleasurable with an @Ed's TnT stem!
I think I just may have to get one!

Congratulations my brother. You have just made a great choice. I've not gotten my Haze back yet, so I've not yet had the pleasure. However, I am sipping on a @Ed's TnT wong right now with my herbalizer, thinking just how unnecessary the water is when the flavor is this good. However, an F-bomb hit just reminded me how cohesive the two really are.

Trust me on this, you are about to make a dear friend and a wise investment.

I'll be reviewing my Flowermate stem and wong from Ed in the next few days. It was pretty delicious on its first spin around the block.

Has anyone used the Haze and Firefly? If so thoughts?
I would not waste money on Firefly. Haze is comparable to Ascent. Buy Ascent, Haze, even Pax before you buy a Firefly. The battery life is not good at all. The draws are hard. It is heavy and large size. It is also more expensive. My Firefly sits in its box and I am keeping it since it was a gift. You will find that Haze is way more user friendly and easy to work with. There are a lot of professionals in this forum as far as I can see and somebody may post a detailed direct comparison maybe but from occasional user perspective, I would not consider Firefly over Haze.

Welcome aboard @Jay b !

I grind about as fine as you can get (coffee grinder) and have yet to experience any Scooby snacks. Then again I use cans only and skip either of the screen solutions so I am sure a lot has to do with that.

What are you using to grind and do you believe it is so fine that it's making its way through the mesh of the screen?

@Jay b, I cut up the conduction screens into three pieces (2 sides and bottom). Then I place the screen on the material. I did this for storage reasons but it also would work in ur case also. This is just what I do hope it helps. Also welcome to the Haze family n the FC community.
