Can one charge get through all 4 bowls? I'm debating going for a new v3 or the Square Pro. I'm super interested in USB C charging. Is the battery removable/readily available?

Guys

We got 8 calls today simply saying that their device does not work and they read issues at this forum and they are convinced that their item do not heat as they get no vapor. When we asked them about how they used the unit, they told us that they did not even hold down the power button to heat the unit. After our conversations, it is clear that most people follow the forum but never interact here and they would rather read what people speculate about than read the manual. Or maybe our manual needs to be more attractive/simpler/to the point. These are all feedback for us. Once we explained that you hold the button down and heat. You let go and stop, all of a sudden it works great now.

Out of 300 packages that we managed to check since yesterday, we identified about 24 of these seal issue ones so far. The majority of the items are good but I feel like people are in panic mode instead of reaching out to us.

Please note that we are not a giant company with 300 employees. I have 19 PM messages that I could not attend to yet and over 100 emails that everybody is either asking for their shipment details or troubleshoot issues. Everybody at the office are doing their absolute best to attend/answer/assist.

We will get to everybody but I am hoping that at least for this thread, please do not post things that are already covered on this thread or at least take time to read the previous pages as we posted several videos, some members posted review links and a lot of useful information. If you still think that you have a problem, at least get in touch with me if you have specific questions and we can assist.

All in all, it is a new unit and we know that it works good. Tested/verified by dozen of enthusiasts of this forum. If we can get all the shipments out before Wednesday, we will dedicate the whole team on answering questions, supporting those who received a unit with a seal issue, get feedback and recommendations of improvements, accessories everything.

Like the charging question some members ask. The device registers the ID and reads the current voltage on the device before it starts charging. It is a 2-3 second delay before you see the light blinking. Some members do not even have a USB-C port and they do expect fast charging through their USB ports. Fast charging happens through the wall adapter. I get questions like where is my USB-C to USB-C cable. So clearly we need to work on basics on our manual, identifying components etc but we need few days please so we can place our full attention to this feedback to assist but we are trying to get units to each members hand without further delay and we are getting close.

Please give us few more days to normalize the operations.

Thank you for your patience.

While the instructions are clear what is needed is a trouble shooting section and more importantly a list of issues that mean your unit is defective. User error happens but this is a brand new vape and there will be some bad units. Just comes with the territory.

The battery is user-serviceable and readily available at $20, but is not 'swappable' without tools.

I believe the beta testers concluded that you can get four bowls of flower at moderate temps on one charge, but high temps might shorten the battery life to slightly less than four bowls.

Awesome. Do we know what the capacity of the battery is? I've been living the USB-C lifestyle and it would be amazing to charge the Square from my phone battery

How long are folks able to heat before the auto shut off is triggered? Crazy how fast mine is going off.

I read on namaste vapes if I remember that the battery is a 2000mAh on the Square

How fast is it shutting off? I read that you have to pump the button for avoiding shut off while you pull. Give it a try if you want

The info provided was more than enough for me. It literally says to hold the button until it turns green, "green means go".

Im going to chalk up my issues as a sealant problem. No matter what tempature, pull speed, or packing style i get absolutely no vapor. If i sandwich it between my hands semi firmly i get instant combustion. So i went ahead and lightly sandwiched it and im getting good vapor without combustion. The problem here is i have to use 2 hands to operate it and if my held pressure is even just a little too tight i get combustion, so its basically a crapshoot right now.

Its a new product and im fully aware i bought a vape from the first batch. Ive got no problem waiting while haze works out the kinks because i know theyll take care of us.

I’m having the same issue. Hopefully it’s the seal that’s causing this to happen.

To all the people who already have the Square in your hands;

Can you turn on and fire the button without the lid part? Just have the unit without the chambers and lid and bla bla.. Only the battery part of the unit. Fire the button and check the coil getting warm, reaching the temp set and how long it lasts. Do few times and after change temps. Try with preset or your favorites. Up to you. After you get used to how it heats up, try assemble all the unit and vape again to see if you notice any change.

About the seal. Can you check if it is easy to remove and install again?

Had my unit since yesterday, and it's working great! But I did notice something when I accidentally opened the chamber upside down and made a real mess. I didn't do a good cleanup job and it affected performance - probably because it wasn't sealing properly. I used the little brush and cleaned off all the excess weed, put it back together, and problem solved! I am guessing that the loader (which I am waiting on) will make sure this doesn't happen.

My general Impressions so far:

On the Pro App - when I first plugged the unit into my PC the device wasn't recognized. This is probably because I unplugged another device, because a reboot of my PC fixed it. After I got it working, I noticed that the default temps on the app didn't match the unit - one click to upload the settings, but it did confuse me at first glance.

My only first adjustment was to change the 380 setting to 384. It took it, uploaded it, and saved it. However, when I went to use the unit, I it didn't seem hot enough. Reloaded the app, and saw my edit had been changed to 350. Repeated the edit, reloaded, same result. Then I set it to 385, also changed a few other temps, saved it, and it worked. Checked the settings, all edits held. (What does it have against 384?)

Taste and Vapor Quality - fantastic! It reminds me very much of the Ghost MV1 in that regard. If you've never used a true convection vape, it tastes and feels different than conduction (like my trusty Haze 3). One problem I had was remembering that it isn't a session vape - I don't have to finish a bowl. In fact, I took a few hits off a bowl from yesterday and it still tasted great.

Pretty much like every vape, that first draw is always a little light as any moisture is evaporated. After that, every hit is good, even hours later. I also like how easy it is to adjust temps - I like to finish off a bowl at a higher temp for some of that extra pain reducing stuff.

East of Use - if you own a concentrate pen, this is a no-brainer. You have to hold the button to hit it. Only difference is you wait 2-4 seconds before you start hitting it (wait for the vibration). This is almost exactly like the Ghost MV1, except it heats up a little faster. Anyone owning a Ghost would appreciate that although it's half the size and weight in the hand, the bowl size is probably 2-3x bigger than the Ghost.

Negatives - Only 2 minor ones. First, without the "load tool" I end up with weeds scattered outside of the bowls, and I know it affects the seal, so I have to make sure I bush off any excess. I assume the loader fixes this. Second, that little light mouthpiece. I know I am going to lose, lol. My fat fingers and bad eyes make this inevitable :myday:

Overall - I truly am thrilled. I vape for chronic pain, and the Haze 3 Dual allowed me to load up for an entire day (with my can holder) and not make a mess on my couch or bed. Only problem was that sometimes a whole can is just more than I need. The Square allows me to load it up for the occasional hit as needed, with enough residual bowls for 1+ days, and so the unit is entirely self-contained and can be taken anywhere. I can now spread my medication out more evenly throughout the day. The great taste is an added bonus.

You can but you need to know how and I am not going to tell because that safety mechamism is in place for a reason. That said you can see the glow through the airhole on the side (covered by a screen).

I suppose that your answer is for the seal. Please correct me if I am wrong

Haze lists a WARNING to NOT POWER UP WITH LID REMOVED.
Bold letters in owners manual---don't do it folks :)

It will not work when the lid is open. It will turn the light on but will not heat. That is a safety feature.

Do you know if in Vaposhop they have the 1st banch that was shipped?

If there is any issue with the units in Europe is there the same customer service as in USA? For example if a unit has to be replaced it works with vaposhop as if I was living in the States?

PS; I am not making any kind of advertisement of any shop. I only ask as a future owner. :)

They have the same batch as this last batch that landed in the states.

Which is the 1st one?

There is a port on the side where the fresh air is SUPPOSED to come in...but the problem with the seal is causing most of the performance issues we are hearing about.

Are you talking about the round hole which is almost in the middle of the sidebar as the mouth piece one?

maybe our manual needs to be more attractive/simpler/to the point.

well, we all have opinions so here is mine...NO, go in just the opposite direction and expand your quick start guide into a more comprehensive and detailed owner's manual (and put the manual on your website...search of the site for "manual" came up with nada)

Just my thoughts, no more.

Technically the second...there was a small batch sent out in February. I would recommend you read this thread. Most of the questions you are asking have been answered. That's one of the guidelines for members on this forum.

I am doing lot of homework already and I have been reading almost all the pages of the thread. There are things that are being referred but not understood to all. :/

I am reading about many things but I cannot know who is beta user, gadget freak, experienced user, new one or something else. Some questions are not answered. Plus some pics would be helpful to all. And not only the chambers or the lid or the box. (Seriously, why it matters so much how the box will be? <- general question)

I also do not know how it is in USA, how it is working with preorders or main orders or new batches or.. And I suppose that it is not possible to ask each one of you what do you mean in shortcuts or answers between your conversations..

Do not misunderstand me please. In my experience some things are not understood as we think that they are meant to. Why ask questions which are already answered?
