Hey guys so I've been doing alot of research the past few days about vaporizers and I know that I want to have a portable, ive narrowed it down between the Haze V3 and the Mighty.
I'm trying to stop using bongs and blunts, i smoke multiple times a day, I currently have a kandy pens K-vape and I'm not very satisfied with it, it never truly gets me to the point that I want to be at like I could with a bong. Some of the problems I'm having with vaping compared to smoking is the fact that I don't get that big full chested feeling during a hit and I really enjoy taking longer draws.
I like the mighty because it has nice tempature control, and a long battery life, i dont mind the size of it that much I've heard it's nice for using at home and get nice big draws similar to a table top.
But I've also been looking at the haze because I like the cans and being able to pre pack, i also love how it looks, i dont currently use any kind of extract or oils but it is something I am interested in doing which is another reason I'm interested in the haze. My concern is that the haze isn't gonna really give me the results I'm hoping for.
For reference I can get a brand new mighty for 330$ or a brand new Haze for 200. Whiche one do you think would be the better option, im seeking help from people who know way more than i do.

From what I have read the Mighty is amazing when it is working. A lot of people have had problems with it. Supposed to have the biggest hits of all the portables out there, yet it is not very portable. It's supposed to be fairly large. many people are unhappy with the customer service of Storz and Bickel the manufacturer.

Haze has very good customer service, is much more portable and stealthy, and has the cans. If you are going to be using the unit mostly at home why not get a desktop? I have been happy with the Vapir Rise, mind you since getting the Haze I never use it lol.

Thanks for the quick reply.
I'm not interested in a desktop because I like camping quite often so I would be using it away from home aswell as at home. Charging the mighty I know is a pain in the a** because of the big non removable battery so that is something else I have to consider.

Thanks for your consideration! There are a number of Haze/Mighty owners here including myself. I won't be making any comparative statements but maybe the other members will chime in with their :2c:.
They are both good vaporizers and honestly I don't think you can go wrong with either. We do have the advantage in the warranty department, versatility, pre-pack can system and removable batteries.

@Bluetaco15 if you go with the Haze you will be happy. I love mine. I really like the vapor quality too. I use mine mostly on the lowest temp setting (1). You get the smoothest vapor and best taste. Personally I don't need to get the "most" out of my bud. What I get at setting 1 is plenty strong enough. Looking to get a water tool so I might try higher temps with that. The Haze is great for portability. The Mighty is quite a bit bigger I think. But the higher price and the problems people have had with it would make me think twice. You wouldn't believe the places I have vaped with the Haze, people don't seem to notice it, and if you remove the abv quickly it doesn't smell much.

thanks guys, I ended up ordering a Haze V3 in green with 4 extra dry herb baskets, stoked to try a really high quality vaporizer for the first time

Congrats and welcome to the Haze family. I havent used the Mighty myself but Ive used several other portables and nothing has worked as well for me as the Haze. As far as versatility and portability, the Haze rocks. Add in the ability to swap batteries and the can system, where you can preload for a weekend if you have enough cans and Ive found the Haze to be the perfect camping vape. I think youre going to like the Haze.

@Archaicrevival This reminds me of the creative days in my teens haha!! :science:

I personally can't see putting quality vapor into a two liter but to each his own.

Thanks for sharing definitely remember seeing a picture of an arizer solo set up with a G bong!

Maybe I should ditch the reservoir recycler and buy some mt dew!!

Also a warm welcome to all the new Haze family members, any questions just ask we love talking vapes around here!!

:peace:

Here is another variation... which do you like best? And why hate plastic, it lasts forever and aren't the volcano bags plastic? It's a water fall bong the beauty is in the flow bro...the stream of love...

No hating here my friend I enjoy watching creativity and think it looks like fun honestly!!

I personally am a bit weird with chemicals like bpa and whatever nonsense is found in plastics but thats just my strange paranoid ass over thinking life :tinfoil:

Creeper

deep in the matrix...
To answer the question about cleaning the intake (the holes at the bottom of the heating chambers), the screen that covers the other side of the Haze is removable (aka not the side you open up to load the chambers, the other honeycomb side). Once you remove it you will see a small hole, that's how air gets into the unit. Taking a computer duster can careful blow into that hole with the chambers clear and the door open, you'll see stuff come out through the heating chambers. I'd do this ever time you clean your vape thoroughly.

If it is still confusing let me know and I can post pics.

Hi man,

I'm going for both, the Haze (V3) just arrived, so I'm still testing it. But coming from a Pax2, Summit plus...flavour is extreme good! Draw resistance is also very good

I would suggest that you go for the product that suits you the best and reading your post my advice would be to go for the Mighty.

MIGHTY PROS:

-->>ALMOST NO DRAW RESISTANCE (Haze is better then other units in same price range Pax 2, Arizer Air)
-->>HEAVY HITTING CLOUDS (especially for somebody that trying to stop smoking)
-->>BUILD QUALITY (german engineering)

I did it the other way around mostly because I have access to a Mighty via a friend & we're both heavy in to vapes (swapping out sometimes) so I decided to go with the Haze first.

BUT !!! I would also suggest that you start saving up for the Haze ;)

Hope this will help you out. Take care

Must vent my 2 cents,

http://www.hazevaporizers.com/tailgate/

I just purchased this and do not like the case,

I sent Scott a picture showing that the inside wasn't quite aligned properly and poor stitching, Given that the case is msrp 30.00 I don't feel that this is acceptable, I sent Scott the picture and am quite surprised that I need to continue to explain myself. If I walked into a store and someone showed me the case I received I would've turned it down and asked for another one in the store given that this one is somewhat defective and just not worth 30.00. Had it been a 5-10 dollar case I probably wouldn't have said anything but since they are charging a premium for a case that we can get pretty similar on dhgates I'm very upset with this given all the positive word of mouth I have been giving them in my area.

I know it will be resolved but left a sour taste in my mouth. Using my e-nano their customer support seems to be just as good if not better at times.

Given the amount of cases I have I don't really need the case, Just bought it case I liked it and wanted to support the company. I DO NOT want to pay MORE for a case that is of lower quality especially considering I have 4 extra cases just sitting my living room. Each costing significantly less than haze's. I ordered the whole kit, so its not easy to just return to exchange the case? I dunno regretting my purchase

Instead of just helping me understand the specifics of your issue you took to FC.
I want to address your concerns but I really don't understand what your issue was so I asked for specific questions so you could point it out.

You took all this time to post this here on FC instead of responding to our private email.

I have probably answered 10 or more of your emails since you purchased the Haze. I think they have all been handled quickly and professionally. I don't know what you hope to achieve by this post but I have a process I follow when helping customers. There have been more than a few that don't like the reality of what I tell them and want to try to threaten us. I protect the company and will protect the image on the forum as well.

I'm sorry if you feel the products are not meeting your requirements but unless you show me something that I can validate, I don't just send out free product. Posting this on FC is not going to change that so please let's deal with this privately in email (as it should).

I was going to exchange the case at your request but I wanted pictures so I could understand your issue. That way I could PERSONALLY check the replacement case before I sent it out. I simply don't see what you are talking about from the picture you sent.

Edit: just tried to call you twice on my into the office.

Threaten??

No I feel the way you handled things are quite sloppy and you prefer to save cost over customer satisfaction, I emailed you originally privately and am flabbergasted a simple exchange can be so tedious, I know you guys are for profit company but use to be happy loyal customer is stating there is a problem with the case he just received new.
I expected after hearing such great things about customer support that it would have been handled quickly and better than that.

I have no PM from you. Please just answer your phone.

Edit: thanks for taking my call. I now have clarity on your concern and have the ability to address it.

All good. Thank you.

Now back to your regularly scheduled programing Haze family! :)

Hi all, I just posted something a few days back about being at a festival, I have to admit I already was quite a bit wasted at that point. This festival has left me with so many impressions I simply have no words for it. Festival Forte, if some of you have the chance to go there next year I can highly and we'll have a Haze meet-up because I was I'll definitely go back next year.

I don't think vaping is much of thing in Portugal but I got to introduce it to so many people over the weekend it was really cool. Especially one guy kept comming back for the vaper and called me the guy with the machine. We shared a lot of sessions with a lot of happy people. Still getting watery eyes when I think back of all the love that was around us.

Haze times are good times

After using the canister with herbs, I used the canister with herbs sandwiching a dab in the middle,

I don't recommend this, it seems the dab outlasts the herb so we were left with a dab vapor but still burnt herb taste after about 5-7 minutes on heat setting 4, I would probably dab by itself instead of sandwiching after this experience,

Hmmm that makes some sense. I tried a mint sandwich with some hash but never on temp 4. I didn't get a burnt mint taste though, although taste wise it would get a bit licorice like.

It's ok to do this but use a smaller dab perhaps? Also maybe keep it at level 3 or below. Personally I never go to 4 with dry herb on the V3.

EDIT: We came across this on Facebook. Some of the comments are pretty comical actually. I think most people here would agree with me. Feel free to throw in your opinion if you are on Facebook. It looks like there are a lot of uneducated people commenting and it would be great to hear from some of the folks here who know what they are talking about.

what about using the dab by itself on 4? seems like it wouldn't vape too well or too muchh at 3 since its much lower temp? Waiting to get some more dabs to test it out, been experimenting between haze and yocan dab pen,
