This looks interesting... Did a search and couldn't find anything. Does anyone have experience with this? Overkill or handy?

http://www.wackywillysweb.com/proddetail.php?prod=WBBM,

Tired of plastic containers that crack or break when cold? Or electrical motors that die? Need a food safe material for extracting concentrates for edibles? Well now there is an affordable alternative. Stainless steel will not crack when cold and can be sanitized unlike plastic containers making it ideal for cold water extraction and CO2 extraction. Use the agitator with CO2 and have the freedom to extract anywhere as there is no electricity required and the CO2 chills with or without ice.

Available in both 5 Gallon and 13 Gallon Sizes. 5 Gallons is ideal for 200g or less 13 Gallons is ideal for up to 600g herbs. (Dried Weight)

Both Sizes feature a top to bottom 304 Stainless steel construction. Easily open the lid by removing the top two securing latches to access the large opening to fill or clean the agitator. The bottom drain allows all of the Liquid to easily be removed from the agitator and transferred to a set of Wacky Bags or the Dr. Green Filtration Machine. The Valve allows you to control the flow of air into the agitator that creates huge bubbles . Clean with cold water - with a dime size of soap. Sanitize or clean build up with Alcohol.

304 Stainless Steel is Temperature, Solvent and Corrosion resistant it is also Food Grade.

Specifications:

  • Height - 43 cm / 17 in (5 Gallon) 70 cm / 27.5 in (13 Gallon)
  • Diameter - 36 cm / 14 in

Holy shit!!! I have been waiting for this (just a stainless washing machine with nothing else, let alone something this much better) for too long! The one thing that sucks about existing bubble machines is that they are plastic. I wonder if this thing weighs a bunch and costs a lot to ship though?

No moving parts, iceless cooling - if it delivers on all of these and still agitates the material/water enough to get those headies out - sign me up! Cooling without ice cubes will be great for getting better quality and quantity with less/shorter agitations. I'm sure starting material may need to be broken up more thoroughly without ice moving about and crunching up the material!

I wonder if in this kind of setup, a work bag might be worth using? hmmm...

I wanna see this reviewed by someone who can produce proper bubble with conventional machines/bags before I would get one of these myself. If it delivers on what they say though, sign me up!

Also I have some great ideas for mods on this unit already, but need to check out some essential safety details and find out whether this unit is all it is made out to be first before I share.

They have some vids online, and they were using a bag inside on one I viewed. Somewhere on that early 90s style page they reference potential of using the stainless container, with it's seal, as a vacuum chamber...

Also, it's in Canada, so those are Canuckistan Pesos. I was just peeking through the plastic units and found this. It must be a brand new release as I was on the site last week and didn't see it...

I believe bubbleman was working on an all stainless machine for larger processing jobs since a while back (he mentioned it on hash church I believe long ago).

This is the first I've seen in the wild though!

One thing I do wonder about is that if the Co2 is being pushed through the water to agitate/cool that the co2 could react with the water and potentially even give it a solvent action? There are ways to design this problem out of the equation even if it is present atm though.

A number of the videos seem to be gone now, only one here is the one showing it spin and not much else. Hope they get more up there again!
