Has anyone found a lighter for the VC that lasts?

By my experience, after 3-6 months any torch lighter (at least from 2 to 20$) starts to perform bad. And in my last deliveries 1 works good and 1 works bad from the start.
Suggestions? IH apart. Just burning flames please...

The thread is quite huge, but it should contain valuable information for you and your question will probably get more attention there:

Yeah I know the thread but it is quite TAS infected (rightly, I don't discuss and I don't judge) you know... and I've already tried to provoke a hint without success.

But maybe I'm just the one that is somewhat disturbed by trashing 3-4 torch lighters a year...

Well, thanks guys. I'm just stressed from my last (and the last) delivery of chinese torches...
I use the "Black Leaf" butane from Vaposhop... they say, like all, "about 0 impurities"... and worked very well on some models. For a while.
In fact, there are one or two cigar lighters manufacturers that claim a "lifetime warranty" and I will look into them.

Black Leaf works fine for me, too. So it's not the butane.
No guarantee, but here are two jet lighters that I use without glitch or failure on a daily basis (have to refill my lighters every second day) since nearly 2 years:

The " Vapman" single flame torch lighter

and

The "Vertigo Rocket" triple flame torch lighter

As said, YMMV, but those are very reliable for me since quite some time and went through a lot of rough usage.

I read good things about the Dupont Defi Extreme, but... price and tank size... while the above do a good job and are very affordable in comparison. Not as fancy, but I mostly vape alone (sniff), so no need for public image.

I've had very good luck with the Honest and Aomai brand lighters. Going on two years with no issues.

I have never used a lighter in any cannabis situation, but it seems to me that, perhaps, you should try a different brand of Butane.

I use Colibri butane with no complaints.

I tried several kinds of butane and lighters ranging from cheap plastic to expensive ($50). I had no success which is why I gave up on the vapcap. It's made a huge difference to have a heater for them. While it won't work for out and about it's a good option for use around home or car.
