really liked this one, nice to see ben be less goofy (although he's a good goofy)...i think he should tackle some stronger roles. he zones out quite a bit in this one so its a good idea to be prepared to zone out with him. :leaf:

I remember watching this video on some researcher who tried dimethyltryptamine and said his backyard made avatar look like 8 bit...
    I couldn't even fathom that.

look beyond the story line on this one, lots of symbols...features tunes from pink floyd, grateful dead, rolling stones, roy orbison, etc...and harrison ford is in it although you might miss him.

I Just re-watched 'Liquid Sky' (1983). Don't know that it qualifies as a "Great" film but surely one of my favorites from that time in my life.

The Boys from Brazil (1978) with Laurence Olivier, Gregory Peck, James Mason. Very good Nazi--hunting suspense movie, with a clever twist.

While in a thunderous fit of boredom on Monday, I watched Smokey and the Bandit. I enjoyed it more than I thought I would. It was pretty good actually. I saw that were a total of three Bandit movies.
For some reason Billy Jack popped into my head the other day. Great movie for sure. Heard rumors of sequel called the Trial of Billy Jack. May have to look more in to it.

There's a couple of sequels to billy jack, first he goes to trial then he goes to washington.
There's also a prequel (to the character) called born losers.

I really liked those movies when I was a kid, still do

Interesting heroic and tragic story. Penn did a great job with this one.

Hal Holbrook's character, when he tried to adopt Chris, made this strange liquid flow out of my eyes. :(
