Grasshopper owners, how much have you spent so far for your Hopper/s?

moondog

It's an obsession but it's pleasin'
Well, let's see...

1 Ti hopper
1 SS hopper
5 batteries
1 Ratchett leather case
1 Ratchett loading stand
1 Ratchett dual mini-funnel
1 Ratchett mini poke-n-scoop tool
4 Ratchett battery caps
3 Ratchett doob tubes
2 Ratchett battery charging sleeves
1 Smoke Buddy Junior for ultra stealth hoppering
1 inexpensive pen-type case from Amazon to hold all almost hopper gear at once for storage
1 Magic Flight Orbiter
Glass mouthpiece for orbiter from Sneaky Pete's
2 Magic Flight glass stems
1 D4 charger
2 packages of Blue Tack
1 shipping charge for an RMA
1 RMA shipping charge on the horizon

It all adds up to a clear indication that I have a serious problem.

<shakes head and goes to lie down>

Edit to add more stuff I forgot.

The hoppers are relatively cheap. Glass has been a bigger expense to me :p

I've spent about 250 on hoppers, batteries and chargers.
40 in postage (battery order, pre-order + warranty shipping).
I did spend quite a bit before BREXIT on a UK Vapefiend hopper, that was like 300ish

I've spent as much on glass pieces and I have a custom recycler in the pipeworks.

The entire amount I've spent has been saved by buying less green and setting barely any on fire.
I was so happy to invest in the hopper because the Mighty costs me more than both my hoppers have, and isn't as good

almost there

Funny you should ask, I just put in for another warranty request...

About £130 initially. Then I've sent it back three times, so postage for that. Its barely lasted longer than a few weeks at a time.

Never again :)
In your opinion do you think hopper labs will ever produce a functional unit that will keep on ticking? I've been reading the Grasshopper thread without owning one bc I cancelled my order due to the long wait and now I'm glad I did. Having just gone thru the experience of paying for a top line product that didn't meet standard it's not worth the gamble IMO. Nonetheless hopper owners don't feel this wayit seems so it must really be something special to be worth the headaches. I've never lost interest in getting a grasshopper but I just rather wait till HL fixes up all the little flaws. If such a thing ever happens I'll happily buy one.
