Discontinued Ghost MV1

I feel like every time I put the device down for a few days with a full battery. the battery is dead when I come back to it.

I've only had this happen once, typically I use my MV1 daily so any battery drain isn't blatantly obvious. It's the device's bluetooth that's killing the battery. Pop your battery out like @Summer said after you finish a session.

For me it has become habitual, like second nature. As soon as I'm done I triple click and then slide the battery out then back in and then put the device away.

That's what I'd call a "workaround".

I still can't figure out, why the MV1 is constantly trying to reconnect to a phone while in sleep mode. I asked this several times without a satisfying answer.

For me the solution should be a deactivated bluetooth for the MV1 while in sleep mode!

I can only think of none consumer friendly explanations for a constant bluetooth connection while in sleep mode, like tracking the user and such.

Yes, the Bluetooth is still connected. We are still waiting for the update for the firmware.

Sorry If I was unclear I was asking @Lholding26 if his Bluetooth was turned on, on his phone that is...I just turn my Bluetooth on when I need to change/update on app, then back off..... till the firmware comes out with fix ...

Hello all currently a davinci IQ user very nice conduction unit. But I am ready to try some convection. I reading through this thread, is the mv1 ready for prime time? Or is it still having growing pains? If I buy used will warranty transfer over if I have problems?

I wouldn't say there is much left in terms of growing pains. There is a firmware update we're waiting on but it's not crucial for operation. I might avoid stealth black unless you're dead set on it. There could be potential latch issues however the failure rate doesn't seem to be high more so that the other units don't seem to have latch issues. If you buy new, as warranty DOES NOT transfer over, you'll be covered anyways. Ghost has some of the best customer service I have ever experienced! Good promo on right now if you buy direct and I would also recommend an extra battery.

Aside from the quick charger, dispenser, and an extra battery, are there any must haves for this for this guy?
I’m not a frequent portable user. Myself and the miss only use on weekend outings hiking, at the beach, in the target parking lot lol. Maybe crucible lids? I dont have a great record with evo basket tops..
Unfortunately I’m herb free for a few months more but this 4th of July deal seems too good to pass on. The ghost will have to haunt me from the closet until the end of the summer.

Greetings friends. My mv1 layed dormant for many months. Not that I didn't enjoy it, but vapcap one the early battle n mv1 got shelved... VAS is one hell of a drug! My mind wandering wanting to try new experiences, looking for best vapor quality mv1 seems to remain top tier by user review.
Reminded I own one I pulled it out. Batteries charged. Took me a minute to remember how to put it back together properly. Was reminded how tight the gasket was. I can't get it flush but with the help of a poking tool I got the lid back on... Took a moment to figure out again how it works. Was both fun, then annoying going through the motions again... But when I got it going, All said and done, this is a great vaporizer, and I produces tasty thick vapor. I'm going back to back vs my Woodscents right now for you know "science". Very comparable. Except WS is more powerful obviously.

Trying to connect to a different phone (galaxy note 9) I can't seem to connect. Yes I'm putting the mv1 in pairing mode, but my phone isn't recognizing it. Not a big deal, but I'm wondering. Did Ghost improve the firmware to include stealth mode, no lights? Or provide the option to see heat level before battery level? If so I'd like to connect for these features..

Anyway. Just wanted to stop n say hi! Been a minute! Don't know if mine is a lemon or not, I need to put actual millege on my mv1 before it's warranty expires!! :D
But I jus cooled my VAS. Vapcap made me lazy the last 6 months cause I stopped grinding herbs and got fantastic results using only lil nugs. I love it for that purpose. However, using my WS I have to grind the herb. Reaquainting myself with grinding makes it more acceptable and enjoyable to grind herbs again. I'm glad I already have a MV1. Vapcap really made me lazy!! Lol

Delta 3d coming out with a crucible caddy that is designed to.fit in a Jyarz Satchmo container...... so no smell.....Will post link when available......

I wonder how many crucibles would fit inside? The specs say 2" x 2" outer but I'm not sure on the interior dimensions. Sounds promising if you're looking for something smell proof. It's not like there are other options.

I might looking to buy new instead of used. I'm a little afraid to get a problem unit with no warranty. It seems the stealth model has door problems and others have overheating problems. Are there colors to avoid? It's the silver has the least complaints. Is there a way to tell which batch to avoid?

@david8613 I currently am using.the silver and so far so good, I have had both stealth and black and chrome with the issues you are.referring to and neither problem has shown up.with silver....hope it helps......

@SquirrelMaster his previous caddies hold 20-24 so I imagine at.least.that many ....take a look at his other caddies on his website delta3dstudios.com

Edit: just had my first heat sink seal go....the flap on the sides.you use to.remove just ripped right off....but hey got to say five+ months with.every.day removal not too bad.....so glad I bought a few packs when they were available......

@david8613 the Stealth is the only colour I've come across having door issues and that's maybe 10 cases between FC, Vapelife and reddit so don't think because you choose it you're going to have issues. You just run a higher chance. If it's the color you really want then go for it. Ghost had me a new unit within 3 business days.

For units overheating it seems to be random and less frequent, maybe more units in earlier production so I wouldn't even consider that. If you buy from Ghost you'll get the newest stock. Personally I would look at a rose gold unit as they look more copper and I love the look. Your preference really

If anyone has a rose gold MV1 and a rose gold iphone to compare can they post a pic? I just want to see how similar/different they are.

@Djsleepy I was about to look at his other holders (I haven't browsed the site that much) when you posted the new link. They should call it the MV1 Power User Caddy, 16 crucibles is crazy! Now if only there was a way to buy multiple crucibles for cheap. The crucible holder is still the cheapest way. Not that I need more, my 1 holder seems to suffice.

Here is the wifes equipment, she's a fan of pink\rose as you can see.

This is my first try at posting an image here, excuse all the edits. As you can see the Iphone is a true rose color where the Ghost is more of a copper.

The delta3d loading tray is so cool....after you put your four.crucible s in , then put top on and fill to level, you can use scraper part of tool to get loose product into crucibles...then use other end of tool(shaped perfectly like crucilble) to lightly tamp....pull off tool and put metal covers on and your ready.to go!

Edit: I have found using this tray that I'm not stuffing too much in crucibles, which I previously have done.....

Here is the link
