They stopped because of a 5 page thread with only about 10-20 unique posters? Do you think that is enough to drive the market?

I was in contact with smiss and like i've said they are aware of FC. You know, this is the board that made the V5 into a big seller over night...

if you would read carefully I could have stopped talking to you three posts ago...

or did you not understand that one single review here made the V5 what it is today (it was around for a while before someone here tested it and guess what, nobody was interested in it before), now imagine what one negative review could do

they owe fc a lot!

I don't have to imagine; it already happened. DrVape ripped it a new one, and still almost no one even looks at this thread.

Just because a good review launched a product into popularity does not mean the inverse is also true. That is a huge leap and an even larger assumption.

yes, right that's why they beg me now to delete my negative comments in the Flowermate V thread ;) concerning my stolen data

(they claim now that their email account have been stolen and that these guys would have used MY data and HIS data to create other accounts... btw.)

Doesn't surprise me. Hell, I'm begging you to stop saying dumb things...

There is no reason to believe that anything about this thread will be as viral as the V. You cannot predict viral effects of reviews either way.

If you can though, you may have the most lucrative marketing career ever ahead of you.

so why you're posting here?! also didn't you say yourself that after drvapes review no one is looking in here anymore?! :D anyway, the wiser head gives in
i will stop it now, I swear

I have to chime in, because I too was in direct contact with Smiss recently.

1) they refused to confirm or to deny that they are doing OEM for pharmacor, but that was expected as this info falls under the "trade secret" category.

2) they told me they were uber sad when they read the G3 reviews and immediatly started R&D again to improve it and make it good.

3) I gave them a few basic advices, like doing factory burn-ins, and also insuring there is strictly no fumes or any out-gassing. They told me they would do their best to fix this problem. For my part I think that most people here tend to forget how a lot of other portables out-gas various stuff when they are new (my Ascent for instance took something like 10 empty max temp runs just to lower the foul silicone taste, and notice how I didn't use the "eliminate" word)

4) I also told them that given the awful reviews it got, they would be better forgetting the G3 completely (as it was going to be a flop) and come with a re-designed vape, because that first impression would unfortunately last for a long time...

Now you can draw the conclusions you want, but I think you @Country-Mac are under-estimating the impact FC has on the vaporizers market.

If you don't believe me, check alexa's ranking, FC is 58k worldwide, 13k in the USA, this is HUGE really, and we are the only source for good unbiased vaporizer reviews and info out there.

@Country-Mac , youve got some wild conspiracy theories my friend, but it is starting to make a little sense.

This is just like arizer. Nearly every part they use is made in china and then sent to arizer and all the parts are put together in canada so they can say its from canada. Maybe INH is doing the same thing and just "assembling" them in canada.

This is like 90% of companies. Nothing new, the real reason I trust them more(Ones built in america with Chinese parts) is because of quality control and safety testing.

same here. Im 100% sure that smiss is NOT making the INH05's. Or has any involvement. PERIOD. China is a ripoff company and the INH has been around for years, it was only a matter of time for them to steal INH's idea.

What makes you 100% smiss is not making them? They are identical, not just in design, but in every way. It seems smiss IS making the components, and that Inhalater is assembling them. INH has been very upfront that they outsource the components then assemble. If not smiss, who do you think is making them? Do you really think the components INH uses don't come from China? That just seems a little naive to me.

However, I do agree that having them assembled in Canada does help for quality control and testing.

Also, I know FC is strong in the true vape community, but the overall public market is still incredibly under-informed. Just look at Snoop Dog G Pen sales. Most of those people buy them for dry herbs, and we all know how good that is.

I love how people are quick to forget that nearly everything but food is made in China lately... :)

Even if it sports a shiny apple on its back (or not), the computer or phone you are using to browse FC is made in China. If there's electronics inside a device, there's 90% chances it comes from China.

Ah and "Shenzhen Smiss Technology Co.,Ltd was founded in 2009", so they've been around for more than 8 months...

THANK YOU! I don't know why everyone is so willingly blind; choosing to think their solo or pax or whatever is immune to this fact...

How can you be 100% sure? Hey you might be right but how do we know this? Also "China is a ripoff company" makes zero sense....China is a country, some companies in china stink, some are quality...

Exactly! By definition you can't know something with certainty without evidence. Unless llama knows something we don't he cannot have true certainty.

I'm pretty sure this whole thread is just a case of gut feeling pushing things out of the mouth.

For the record, I voted with my wallet and own a INH005 and am very happy. I just think things in this thread have gone from sensational to willing ignorance.

The point is not that these parts could not come from china, but thar smiss is the one that produces them! They probably only assamble the g3 with thess parts in their factory in china too, but buy them from various other suppliers. That's more likely, imho. If inhalater can get these parts in china smiss can, too. I mean, they won't produce samsung batterys themself for example ;)

Batteries are a bad example. The barriers to entry in the battery market are huge and there are few battery manufacturers. Making a bread board and resistance wire heater unit are much lower. It doesn't translate as an example.

If you two get started here again I will start handing out points.

Really? Two months later you post this in the S&B Crafty thread-

"I'll be getting rid of my Inhalater 005 for this. The 005 is straight up dangerous. Melts like the Whicked Witch of the West at a pool party. I hope it hasn't perminently damaged my lungs, but I think it might have."
