That clarifies the battery life and temperature settings. Thanks for that. I still may have difficulty with it. But that’s me. Not a totally regular person I guess one would say.

@Dutch-Mic how long you soak the silicone for in soapy water? Last vape I had when I did that I got residual taste of soap for a few sessions. Did you have that problem? Quick ISO soak not recommended? Do we know if it is silicone?

15 minutes max with a detergent that doesn't have a strong smell. Don't know if that was the best way to clean it, but I didn't taste any soap. Didn't dare to throw it in some ISO. @FLOWERMATE OFFICIAL is the mouthpiece screen held in silicon or is it another material?

Had a session with another strain today. Taste was good for about two hits and after that it was decent. Still better than I expected.

Taste is above average for a conduction vaporizer.
The black (silicone) is not like the usual Chinese stuff.
Someone actually had a good think about the mouthpiece design, ingenious really.
From the isolated zirconian air path to the spiral condenser.
Isolated in this case means your lips do not touch the actual condenser mouthpiece but has a separated insulated mouthpiece made from POK.
Screen could be bigger as it clogs up if not cleaned regularly.

Hey, we really don't recommend throw mouthpiece into ISO, however the gentle detergent or soapy water is recommendation.

Yes, screen is held in the black silicon part.

I have received one of these to test as well, and must say I am also impressed!

One of the more neutral smelling (still a smell though) of these products out of the box, simple clean design, VERY compact, nice packaging and accessories included too.

Did a few burn offs on red, iso swabbed chamber and MP parts, another burn off after and tried out a very full pack of medium ground Purple Dreams. Did a whole session on blue before bumping to green for another half session. Taste actually came through even this new, faded later on so that's when I dump, though it could have gone further ofcourse. Decent clouds if you follow conduction rules (give it time to recover before your next hit) with a pretty free flowing draw and a fairly impressive cooling unit structure inside the small mp...

The plastic alloy is great for insulating heat so you don't feel it on your lips (careful of the little ceramic tip though) whole the vapor path is still all steel and ceramic. The zirconia mp inside the plastic is nice and it even has a small zirconia spiral inside to help cool the vapor a bit. That is all sheethed in some high quality silicone that holds the steel screen and then slides into tbe plastic mp. The magnets securing it to the vape are strong, yet easy to remove too.

I also like that it is able to stand upright despite its rounded bottom, there is a little flat part right in the center, and as mentioned the bowl isn't too huge (not sure on its material, I presumed steel but could be wrong?) It has some holes on the bottom with no screen needed, the screen in the mp is flat with holes not mesh, and it works quite well. There are plenty of extras in the box, two sizes so maybe one is for the bottom of the chamber? But doesn't seem necessary to use on top of the one built in?

Charging is also pretty quick and the battery life seems to be more than solid!

I am a noted on demand pure convection snob (particularly of the handmade variety) but this really seems to be one of the best mass-produced session conduction portables I've ever seen... Honestly I was not prepared to feel that way, let alone after one bowl, but color me impressed as I said!

It's indeed pretty good on first glance. I just wish we could use it without the silicone part as it's the only thing that is not smell-neutral in the device (no polyimide tape adhesive smell this time yeah!) It's the only issue I have with it.

Air-path seems properly isolated this time too, nothing comes out of the bottom USB port.

I think the bowl is black ceramic.

Don't know how the battery will hold as it's evidently on the small side. Otherwise it's a great little vape at a super sweet retail price!

Upon closer further inspection I see you're right about the ceramic! It looks so nice I really could not tell, a far cry from the old white ceramic of the OG Vapormax! We do have some bias ;)

I agree with you about the silicone, not sure how to get around it without getting things even hotter in use though... I think you are correct that is the only smell/taste for those of us who are sensitive, none of the other old insulation that I can't believe I ever inhaled in my early days lol

What is the retail price by the way? This may be the new go-to recommendation for a super budget super portable option that doesn't sacrifice on health... Battery wise if it died you'd just replace the whole unit? Simple enough!

Again low expectations, perhaps easy to exceed, and it has been a long time of course. All that being said, early impressions largely positive!

My unit is here, will give it some testing and probably share my thoughts tomorrow. Thx to the Flowermate guys, declaration was thoughtful and it got directly to my hands,no stops at customs whatsoever.
@KeroZen There is even a sweeter price. https://verdampftnochmal.de/products/en/flowermate-the-cap
weighs only 52 grams.. wow that less than a dynavap M ? :D
Haha guess you wont have to buy a newone if the battery fails within 2 years if you buy it from those dudes, pretty sweet for EU buyers. :D..

Something that I love and haven't been mentioned yet I believe: the oven is so easy to fill thanks to the funnel styled top. The herbs almost slide in the oven when I fill it.

A thing I have experienced: the mouthpiece/cap became quite warm on the lips.
After disassembling the cap I noticed lots of resin on the zirkonia airpath and on the silicon itself. Could it be that because of the build up more heat is getting transferred to the plastic Cap? Going to clean the device to see if that helps.

"" There is no standby mode on our model, because it is annoying when the device switches itself on again by pressing a button in your jacket pocket, rucksack etc., so we decided to switch it off completely after five minutes.""""
Haha how is everyones experience with the standby mode ? I guess our versions should have it.

I'm used to it from previous FM models but I know a lot of people thought that it turned off and didn't know a long press was enough to turn it back on. So they clicked 5 times (turning it off), while complaining it didn't work, then clicked 5 times again (turning it on) and thought it was annoying.

On the unit I have there seems to be a standby but it could be that after a long inactivity it turns off completely (need to double check)

Wow, just got this in the mail. It's really cool! I mean it's TINY. One third smaller than Pax 3 at least.

You could put it on key chain it's so small and light.

Will test out.

Took it part. Only a few small pieces to clean. Cooling spiral in the mouthpiece is a nice, easy, probably very functional design.

I just received my unit too. Now its loading and will soon be rocking. I have some low quality herbs so i will not clean the unit and use it a few loads as a newbie would just to test how much factory smells it has (1-2 puffs per load, i dont want to get sick). Then I will clean it thoroughly and test again with my A+ ones so I can quantify vapor production and taste. So far the unit seems tiny and sturdy and I love the bowl size. Will update once i can test everything long enough.

Hey all - will add my first impressions as well, most have probably already been mentioned.

- It definitely had a plastic smell upon opening, but it went away very quickly.

- Nice sturdy feel to it. Does not feel inexpensive. I love the air vent design - very cool.

- It is smaller than a Pax, a little bigger than a Miqro (with native mp)

- As others have mentioned, the mouthpiece is well designed. The magnets feel strong, but very easy to open and close. I’m not sure the magnet is strong enough to stay on in a pocket or tossed in a bag, but time will tell.

- The oven is perfectly sized for the Newvape Pax tool. I mean, it was basically made for it!

- The mouthpiece gets pretty hot after one session. I did three in a row and it was uncomfortably hot.

- It is a bit wobbly when standing up - it would be nice if it had a little more flat surface on the bottom. But, this is not a huge deal, laying it in its side is an easy alternative.

- The taste is decent. Personally, I am a fan of conduction flavor (I.e. Pax 3, Miqro, Solo) and this isn’t as good as those. But it is decent. I definitely need more time with it to really weigh in on this accurately. And, as I mentioned already, the plastic/factory taste goes away very quickly, so that already makes it much better than many out there.

- It seems to work with a lightly packed oven and with a fully packed oven, which is a nice bonus for a conduction vape.

- The temp starts at 385F which is higher than most (I like to start at 365-70 on most vapes. It would be nice to have it start a little lower.

- It seems like it is going to be easy to maintain- will update on that when I’ve had it awhile.

- The battery indicator is nice and easy - I know it is a problem for color blind folks - but it’s also very convenient to see battery status without extra presses.

That’s all for now. Thanks @FLOWERMATE OFFICIAL for sending my (our) way - having fun testing it out!
