Filtering vapor through flowers

This isn't my original idea but I can't for the life of me remember where I heard it, I wanted to put it on FC though because if it works it sounds incredible. We all know that vaporizing can leave behind that sticky brown resin-type stuff (wand hash) so what if during vaporbonging you put nugs in the glass instead of water. The idea is that the wand hash that would instead collect on the glass will hopefully get on those nugs and you're left with flowers covered in hash oil. I also feel like the flavor of the vapor would be somewhat enhanced. Anybody want to try this or ever tried it? I'm curious.

interesting...haven't done it and probably won't feel compelled to do it unless it's low grade for experimentation. I wonder about the taste...it may be enhanced or compromised. I think it would be better to just process the wand hash separately...

Honestly seems like more trouble than its worth. Assuming you have glass where getting the nugs in and out won't beat them up too bad, and you have a piece that will hold them nicely, then sure. I guess you can't do this with water. I would rather fill the bong with rose pedals and vape through that, it would taste good and filter particulates. Honestly though no offense I think this idea is ridiculous. I would never choose to reclaim waterpipe resin to begin with and I would never drop my dank nugs in any of my bubblers... "Here let me just stick a half ounce in my mobius ion before we vape guys, oh yeah we also can't use water guys."

Would be a pain to grind the reclaim drenched nugs...

Yeah I didn't really think of that, I suppose you could use scissors but it would still be a challenge.

I'm thinking you could get one of those "carbon filter" attachments, remove the carbon (and wash!), add a couple nugs (and an extender joint maybe?), and then add the vape to the female.

I wouldn't bother with it myself, honestly.

Not much of a problem if you use a vaporizer that can handle whole nugs... there aren't many, and it would probably be troublesome to "stir" sticky nugs...

Do you mean tucking it into the handle portion? I would imagine the bowl is still too close to the heat...but lining up a few pieces in the handle would probably soak up alot of wand hash. Just not sure it's really worth the effort overall to be honest.

Honestly sometimes I do something of the same idea but not the same. When inverse hitting my EQ (vape on top elbow on bottom) I sometimes loosely place finely ground herb or even ABV in the elbow screen and leave it for a couple weeks of inverse hitting. After just a week its already coated with a decent amount of wand hash, and I smoke or vape it whenever i feel like taking it out.That elbow load gets me right stoned like wand hash should...

Of course I can only do this on the small scale, but its still nice to do.
