are you guys planning apps for any devices

An FC app would be dope.

I think xenforo itself would need to have an app. What would you like the app to do?

I would love an FC app, or even if tapatalk (popular on all devices) had support for this site.

What the forum does.... vbulletin has an awesome app which AVSforum uses and I find very useful and easy to use.

There are apps that support all sorts of forums inclluding xenforo but the support is added on a one by one basis.

I wish something particularly supported this site for android that I could find. I really love tapatalk, too bad this site isn't included.

Another in favor of this if it is at all possible. The new look of the site makes this need even greater, in my experience, due to slower load times.

Oh wow that would be ideal to be able to check our messages and or forum posts on the go.

I would also love an app for FC. Grasscity has one and its great.

XenForo is already optimized for phones and does a good job IMHO.

Edit: Just checked this place on my phone.. Why not install forum runner?

I guess I'm not really big with all the apps i'm guessing forum runner is an app that allows you to visit certain forums?

lol looking at my post I probably should have elaborated a bit - I'm a web developer so it's all fresh on my mind. It's an add-on that is made to run forums like XenForo more efficiently on mobile devices. Almost functions more like an app. I don't know if it makes the code more efficient or grabs a feed but regardless it loads faster and is simple.

Personally I don't mind reading it on my phone the way it is. I dislike the free version of tapatalk but you can use it with forum runner.

but forum runner dosnt have fc on its list of Forums. At least from what I can tell.

Both tapatalk and forum runner support Xenforo. If its enabled for FC, I promise to contribute way more than I do

It's really easy to install either forum runner or tapatalk on xenforo.the most time consuming part if the FTP upload to the root folder. After that, it's completely transparent for the admin.

Ditto here buddy!! I too spoke to vtac about it though those days the forum software was something that didnt have support with tapatalk, but now that Xenforo is being used, it can happen. I dont mind chipping in money for it to happen even. I joined the ECF much after FC but have 10x the number of posts there I even think I spend more money with ecigs than vapes because the phone app keeps me glued to ECF!

It doesn't cost money for either one... I use them both on some of my sites. Have vtac contact me, I could set it up for him in less than 5 minutes

Once you setup an account as an admin, you can add your forum to the list.

I'd recommend tapatalk over forum runner though, the app is much better IMO

I would love it if there were an app for FC too. However, in the end, it's up to vtac.
