Cereal is one of my favorite things to eat when I have the munchies.

    Post some of your favorites.

#1 Cinnabon [This is my new #1 cereal. Cinnamon Toast Crunch fans don't sleep on this!!!]

#2 Cinnamon Toast Crunch [#1 for 20 years till Cinnabon came along.]

Quaker oatmeal squares with brown sugar is my current favorite. It has no enriched grains, and is delicious dry or with milk. I don't really care for actual oatmeal, but I just can't stay away from these squares!

This is an important question and I don't want to answer off the cuff - but at this juncture I'd like to offer that almond milk, a few raisins and a sprinkle of cacao powder always enhance whatever cereal I'm eating, lest we forget the banana.

Cereal TV commercials have been a huge influence on me. For many, their world changed when they saw the Beatles on Ed Sullivan; for me it was the snapping, crackling, popping, exploding bowl of Rice Crispies.

There is no better aisle in the supermarket than the cereal aisle. It has the best artwork and the most colors.

And let us not forget that some of our most formative reading and fun was found on the back of those cereal boxes!

I eat oatmeal almost daily, but it is far from my favorite. Of the dry cereal varieties, I like so many I can't name a favorite, but I can name some I detest. All Bran.... stuff shouldn't even be called cereal! :disgust:

McCann's Steel Cut Oats ... 25 minute cook time gives me opportunity to clean the kitchen and living room floors.

Quaker or comparable old fashioned oatmeal prepared according to microwave directions. Fold in a couple of tablespoons of Sugar in the Raw, add a handful of frozen mixed berries (I use Aldi's or Trader Joes). As the berries thaw the oatmeal is cooled. Prepared this way oatmeal ceases to be boring.

haven't had any cereal in yers, not really a cerealfan, too dry. (I don't like milk)
I prefer bread, apparently we have a lot more things for on bread here than in the US. like hagelslag(chocolate sprinkles), anijshagelslag(anise-sprinkles), bosvruchtenhagelslag(forestfruitflavored sprinkles), etc.
I also like honey a lot, and caramel-syrup

Kidding aside, this is my favorite also. I hated oatmeal as a kid but I do like the way it tastes, I like the texture, and I like the way it makes me feel; it's cleansing. This might be the perfect guilt free munchie snack.

I know; they taste good but they're not the same. Some people have devised little systems to have the real steel cut oats cooked and ready when they want it - using a thermos, etc.

Well, I've always been a fan of coco pops

"Just like a chocolate milkshake, only crunchy!"

But my favorite cereal ever (I've had more than 1 extremely high conversation with a buddy about what an injustice it is that these aren't available anymore ) is Corn Pops

I want them in my mouth... now:argh:
