i've managed to talk a pharmaceutical company into loaning me a 4 grand ultrasonic homogeniser to trial and received it today. my aim is to make thc vape juice so this morning i mixed a batch of 70ml vg / 30ml pg and 3 grams of bho. the machine is fantastic at emulsification and within about 15 mins the oil was fully mixed with the carrier solution. i was expecting it to turn to a mild honey colour but instead it turned into like a mild coffee colour. i tried vaping it and the result was poor. i'm out of bho so i added 9 more grams of rso and remixed the contents. once again the effect was very poor. does anyone have experience with this and with a homogeniser?
