So glad to hear that your kids are ok. I don't have kids, but I could only imagine how terrifying that must be.

    Looking forward to it.
And I must say, the way you keep coming back and responding to each of us is appreciated.

Also, I have some quick questions if you have time:

    1) What's your personal favorite Woodscents wood for whatever mix of reasons you may have?

    2) Which one do you think is the most durable/ages the best?

    3) Which one is your personal favorite based on looks/aesthetics alone?

Good morning, @Ramahs thank you for the post and your concern for my kids, means alot. I have said it in the past you all took the time to post here I better take the time to acknowledge that. Now to your questions.

1 - I honestly cant say. I will say that to me I like the dense species more so like the cocobolo and others similar to it. I love the burls, the Amboyna I did a bit back were to me the most amazing done yet. But to be honest I love doing each and every piece. Each has a personality and uniqueness all of its own. People have asked me or said I bet your personal piece is stunning what is it. really its just a simple Redwood burl that no one wanted. To me its not simple its a beautiful piece but its not a popular species for some reason. Thing is no one can appreciate em if I keep them to myself.

2 - I will go back to the densest species like the Cocobolo, Blackwood, Thuya, Katalox and other really dense species. But with care all will last as long as they are not beat up and dropped and bashed. I really like Buckeye but its a soft wood. It should last a lifetime but if not handled right and not taken care of I could see it taking a hit that wouldnt be good.

    3 - Id say I answered this when I answered 1 also.

I hope I have answered these well enough for you and look to hear what you think of my answers. Thanks for grabbing that SS of my IG, those are going to be stunning 2018 pieces.

Check out the first production piece in Cocobolo for the 2018 model

I freaking love how Cocobolo finishes, the sleek feel, the varying tones rrrrr sexy sexy! I like the wide open upper bore with the sharp edge sloping down to the beaded groove. Really like this model and hope you all do as well.

    Okay...here is my current problem:

I've been talking to Ed via email about getting on of his new Burl Woodscents that I've been drooling over. I'm about to pull the trigger with Ed, when I come across an opprtunity to get a this used Mexican Katalox Woodscents for just $235!

This is a really good deal, and I really like the Mexican Katalox, but now I feel like I'd just be letting Ed down, and he's so nice.

Not sure what I should do, but taking this good deal would be a much more responsible choice for myself, as I'm not a wealthy man.

Ed is a great guy, and I support him wholeheartedly. That being said, I can understand being in a situation where your money matters and you have to make tough choices about where to buy stuff. I buy some glass on DHGate. I bought some used stuff including a sublimator on FC. I bought two from Ed directly, but if someone will sell me that live edge cedar in the photo on Ed's site, I'll buy it from them ;)

Besides used does support Ed. A good resale market is great for both consumers and sellers.

Thanks man. I just went ahead and pulled the trigger on that Mexican Katalox model. At the $235 price tag, I couldn't pass it up. I have been told by the seller that The only original thing that I need is sme new hi-temp O-rings to use with the glass stem. He said those are out of stock on your site (I didn't check for myself). Will you have more of them soon, or if not, could someone tell me where I can aquire more that would meet the temperature standards required?

Thanks Brother. I'm looking forward to seeing what you post next. At least I'm finally joining the Woodscents family now. And that looks like a really pretty two-tone Mexican Katalox that I'm going to be happy with.

Okay so, anyone else here able to figure out why enano and UD are at such high thread counts and we only have 54 pages for ed ?? It’s a crying shame these beauties aren’t being spread around more!

That said I was wondering if anyone has any little woodscent hacks? Anyone using anything crazy to push out even more from this wonderful vape?

Anyone using crazy glass or some sort of whip and mod setup?

Would love to hear from people about how they use there woodscent to get the most they can! Best log on the market as far as I’m concerned

As much as I'd love to do some crazy stuff, that fact that my buckeye burl sits humming between 7-8 on the dial all day long and is just right there on call is amazing enough :) I do agree it's a great log vape, and the fact that he gives you everything you need to go mobile, use water, use glass, etc, makes it a great deal.

They've been around significantly longer. Ed's Woodscents is a more recently launched product.

For example, the Woodscents thread started in mid 2016. Whereas the Enano thread started in 2012 and the UnderDog thread started in Mid 2011. They're significantly older products.

LoL. I think I just saw the very Woodscents that I bought used, when it was fresh and new on Ed's instagram. I'm talking about the image here: https://www.instagram.com/p/BbKfa5fnujl/?taken-by=eds_tnt_

Here is the image from the seller that I'm comparing it to:

So I’ve seen it a few pages back and in some other threads but is anyone else running some sort of digital voltage control for there woodscent? If so what ones. I think I’d like to upgrade my dial to a digital

Ed any input on what ones to go or steer clear of ? My damn eyes are always having a hard time in low light figuring out what setting I’m at

@cloraform I have a single and a double from Underdog Vapes. Check them out, they have a single in stock right now. Very nicely assembled, great customer service. Just as good as dealing with Ed or the folks at Epicvape. The cottage vendors in this industry are just such a pleasure to work with!

That is of course, until @Ed's TnT gets settled in his move and stocks his own (HINT).

Those are fucking beautiful, but the patterns on the one on the left are particularly amazing. It almost looks like glass.
