Good afternoon you all, just dropping by for one last quick Show & Tell, got everything done as far as work, orders packaged about to go to the PO soon, bout to get the boys and head to church, then a quick nap then we split at midnight westbound! I have packed so much stuff yall, had I not got the camper top from my friend I wouldnt have gotten in all packed in, its bottom to top side to side, we oughta have everything and then some!

Ok so remember I mentioned to yall I had to get a new gouge, this is my 3rd roughing gouge chisel

I forgot how nice it is to have a new gouge, I dont have to lean over the piece so close on the tool post, this one is kyro steel, super freaking hard, it oughta be for what I paid for it! Will see how many pieces it turns, I know I did 500 this month alone.

This is a special set I did to send to George @ VapCap, wanted a limited run with various pieces, all is Thuya Burl, remember the blocks I said I got the other day, these pieces have nothing of the chunks I was lucky to get!

@Melting Pot I am glad to see your enthusiasm for whats to come bro, sorry there is no list, I am not sure how I feel about a list, dont sweat it though I got you that you can count on! Put them dollars back, will talk soon!

@NickDlow Hey there Mr. Ambassador, you are the man, I imagine what its like to walk in your steps and try to think WWND, thats my story and I am sticking to it!

@Aezhenn Ohh my man, you know a Thuya Burl VB will be top shelf no doubt!

@Reflections You are so right, I dont wanna jinx it but feel I am at another direction in my life filled with bright and better days, I am so thankful to see them here, only hope to do the best I can with them, thanks for stopping by, am so excited to be leaving tonight, nothing but fun, no work, no turning, no nothing, holy crap, idk how long its been since I did anything like this, its crazy! Cant wait to get the pics and videos, the GoPro is going to be key, going to do a ton of video and put it all together when we return, just wait! Wish you well my friend!

@little maggie I was wondering where that FM piece got off to, I was supposed to send it to someone else, couldnt find it and had to get another out to him, lol, figured it would turn up just didnt figure it would be on the other side of the country lol! I see you have a FM, get some use out of it and I thank you for the work, hope you like the Nano and I appreciate you posting up, best wishes to you!

@Stevenski Good call, thanks for stepping in bro!

Alright thats it for a while yall, gotta jumo in the shower and split, Ed out!

Just popping in for a minute, did Carlsbad caverns, ran across a herd of barberry sheep like big horn sheep they scattered and scaled up a 90 degree rock face like nothing then just got up there and watch us, did a bit of hiking there, did the ufo festival in Roswell was neat, went to Lincoln for the whole Billy the Kid thing was freaking awesome, did Albuquerque museums and Old Town there, went rock hunting later next day out side of there, came to Vegas yesterday went to the strip then Hoover Dam and fireworks last night. Bout to bounce headed to Zion park in Utah then do more rockhounding on the pony express route in northwestern Utah before we go to Yellowstone, gosh we have done 2600 miles and got many more to go, boys are having a blast as am I, got tons of pics and much video, got clothes to fold in a few then we out!

Hope all is well, so excited to get back and turn those beta bombs, woot woot we be vaping soon y'all!

I received my Vapcap package last week. Boy oh boy have I been keeping myself medicated. The Vapcaps are so efficient and the stems and bodies are almost hypnotic. I find myself just staring at them.

I just wanted to say thank Ed @Ed's TnT,for creating such beautiful pieces. You are blessed to work with nature in such a magical way.

Looking forward to more of your creations!

Wow hello and good morning you all, what a few weeks it has been, I have had such a blast with my boys, the days will surely be some of the funnest of my life and am sure they will be telling their kids about them as well! We did 5,375 miles in 15 days through just as many states, we so covered some ground, toward the end we were tripped out and ready to be home, gosh I missed the trees and the low lands, aint no place like home! Its so funny, we were gone so long in so many different places that my first night home I woke up at some point to pee, I walked into the kitchen disoriented was trying to figure out where I was at, I even had to turn on the light, ohhhh the bathroom is the other way lol! Yeah so it took me several days to regroup mentally and physically, at least 3 or 4 days of washing clothes, putting stuff up, and just being overall lazy. So before I show ya what I have been up to yesterday, I wanna show yall a few pics from the trip,

Carlsbad was alot of fun, we walked about 7 miles one day, through the cave where it was in the 50's felt like heaven, trails above ground and all over. These are the Barberry Sheep I mentioned above, hella climbers

Was just below Carlsbad Caverns camping, I really hadnt thought about running into this guy, not that I am afraid of em but sure aint going to let him get that close to me either

We left Carlsbad, went to Roswell, was neat, ran into some guys that have some really far out there ideas on what aliens are up to, stopped in this one dive, looked at the pic later, looks like he found Beavis & Buttheads couch.

We then went to Lincoln, NM. for the Billy the Kid tour, how cool that was yall walking the streets, going into the Murphy Dollan House, in the Mcsween house, going to the jail where Billy was held, wow just the feeling was so neat.

I grew up watching Young Guns, have seen em many many times, this is the stairway where Billy shot Bell coming up the stairs in the movie, the holes at the bottom are Billy's

So cool looking down these stairs thinking Billy was up top trying to escape one thing led to another and Billy made his way!

Went to Albuquerque to camp at the Cibola National Forrest, that was alot of fun too, the boys and I hiked up the mountain side to 8,000', did some spelunking there.

Went into the city to the science museum, the rattle snake museum, then walked through a part of the city called Old Towne, had many many shops with local vendors selling art and jewels, alot of nice stuff, there was this old cathedral around the square, had been there since 1706 San Felipe

Left there headed to Vegas, did the Hoover Dam and 4th of July fireworks over the city, I have a temp thing on the side of my mirror in the truck, I had no idea it would go that high, was freaking 112 out there, yeah not my kinda heat

Went to Zion National Park from there, that was a whole lot of fun, we went up the Narrows, the boys got in the stream floated in the current, climbed on rocks, gosh what good times

Left there to go rockhunting for geodes on the Pony Express Trail, there is a great spot at the Dugway mines where the guy let his claim go, anyone can go and dig for them, we had a heckofa time, my truck was already packed from top to bottom side to side and had to find room for at least 50 lbs of rocks, seeing the boys smile when they broke one open and gazing at the crystals inside was so fun. You have to drive an hour on the trail to get to the mine, its all wide open country no fences, no light poles, no man made stuff except for a couple rock houses kinda things along the way I guess for the riders to stop, we saw a herd of wild horses

Headed North to Yellow Stone, we saw Buffalo, Elk, Pronghorn, squirrels, geysers, mudpots, an Old Faithful, they said when it ran every hour 50 years ago, now hes running about every 90-100 minutes

We were there on a Friday, I had no idea it would be that cold, I had fully intended on camping there but didnt pack enough cold gear, was 30 at night and was supposed to snow Sunday, uhhhhh yeah! Got a hotel for one night which cost me as much as 3 nights along the trip, couldnt afford another. We went through Colorado Springs to Dragon Mans place, took a tour through his huge military museum, the boys got to hold a big sword with a gold handle that Saddam had next to his bed when the US forces raided it, saw all kinds of cool stuff there. We drove through Kansas to Arkansas, had dinner with my former pastor and his wife, went to church with them that sunday night, was great seeing his sermon, had forgotten how great a preacher he is, was very moving and a blessing! We were headed to BassPro in Memphis for the last stop, its the mega store, total DU head quarters, made it home Monday afternoon. Boys went back to their moms a few days and I got em back after a couple, did the waterpark Friday, got some sun on my body, still feeling the burn baby, lol, got church with them tonight. I have never done anything like this before, I didnt do any wood work at all for 20 days, I rarely answered an email, I thought nothing of work for the most part and loved every minute of it. I had such a great time with my kids, I cant help but think of all the fun times we had the smiles the laughs the stories we told remembering what happened in the day, I am such a lucky man to have my sons, they are what its all about!

Ok so now for Vapor Bomb Show & Tell, so I got back had several orders to fill, had a big shipment of Bomb blocks show up while we were gone, I cant remember how many pieces are in this box but know it weighed 76lbs. the piece standing up is juniper I snagged from just outside the Pony Express Trail

Here is a Redwood Burl beta Bomb I turned yesterday

Gotta get a few more spun today, got the air pathways done, gotta install them, wire in the connector. The hard part now seems to be finding the right kind of controller, I have some rotary dimmers that I can wire inline but dont really wanna do that. I want to find the right boards and put together a digital display giving the user complete control over the unit. Am giving it hell beating the internet streets in search of the right components. Its all going to come together. Hope you all enjoyed my post, glad to be back!

@Oogendoogan My man, was a trip of a lifetime, hope you like the pics and all above bro! Let me know what you think of the beta bomb, more to come!

@Shit Snacks Wow Zion was fun bro, so glad we made it there. Hope all is well for you!

@Squiby Hey there, thanks for dropping by with the kind words, I am most grateful! I hope you enjoy those pieces for a long long time to come. Pls do let me know if there is anything I can do for you. I wish you well and all the best!

Wow Ed.... looks like you had the time of your life with your boys! So nice to have you share your vacation here with us. Makes us feel like we're part of the family. :D Would love to see some pics of the geodes you guys split.

The Vapor Bomb looks amazing. This is going to be such fun! I love that you are finally realizing that vape dream you had when I first met you 6 plus years ago... Can't wait to see how they all turn out.

Thanks so much for sharing the pictures. What an incredible trip! Such fortunate boys.

And please add me to your VB list- I will definitely buy one as soon as you're ready to sell.

I'm retiring this year and am trying to buy the vapes I want now because I won't be able to afford them when my income decreases.

How did you know that redwood is my favorite wood?!? That redwood Burl beta bomb looks like a dream Ed. So beautiful. And the design is amazing!! That beta bomb looks so nice to hold and it has so much character compared to other logs I see. Really great work Ed. It is really great to see a redwood Burl beta bomb!! I have wanted a redwood log vape ever since I got my first e nano. I have seen a few red wood Burl logs in that time but wow Ed, that bomb is just stunning
can't wait to see these things come together man! I wish you nothing but the best of luck my friend. I hope your having a great Sunday Ed!

Good morning, feeling more and more like myself after the vaca, no place like home yall! Got all my orders packed up and out yesterday morning, did a bunch, had 8 different countries, wood going everywhere! Get this today is me bday, am 40 woot woot! Gosh time flies, am so thankful to have made it here and if the good Lord gives me 40 more what a life it will have been! Gator tags go on sale in a hour or so, hoping I get mine, its first come first serve, got my fingers crossed. Got a dinner planned at an upscale business casual seafood joint tonight, so looking forward to that! Lordy Lordy I am 40!!!

@momofthegoons Hey hey, I am glad you liked the pics and have said it before here, I feel like we are all family, so many wonderful people here sharing feelings and findings, so much love is here, I am so thankful to be a part of it and give to it! I gotta go through the geodes and clean them up, I will get the boys to help me do that, they will be all over that. Lol their mom text me after the boys got home, she said they washed rocked for an hour the other day, they had such fun digging for them, you know the feeling they had being in the huge hole digging to find treasure, how neat is that! You more than anyone knows how long I have wanted to produce my own vape, you have been with me since the beginning and mean so much to me, thanks for your friendship, support, and advice, you are and have been a mentor to me!

@Aezhenn My man I was happy to share and believe me had I been able to I would had a place in the truck for you, glad you got a peak at the memories we made! That Redwood VB is going to a special place, I cant wait to hear how it performs. I will have something just as nice coming your way bro, you know I got you!

@little maggie Hey there, I cant say it enough, the trip was for my sons, I was just thankful to make it happen, they are my shinning stars and reasoning in life! I am really trying and hoping to have the VB's available in a couple months or so, working the controller is the most important part of the whole thing, making heat is a big deal but controlling it is the biggest. Hang in there with me, am closer than I have ever been before! Sucks that when ya retire you gotta slow down and step down so to speak, wish you the best years ahead!

@Oogendoogan Thanks so much for stopping by and having a look bro, glad you took a step back to memory lane, wow what joys this world has to offer, much to marvel at! My man I had no idea you were all about the Redwood, so glad you like it as much as you do! I have plenty more where that piece came from so be on the lookout soon enough chief, great things are happening! I really appreciate the kind words for my work, you know that and I appreciate you!

@Reflections Thanks much, ohhh you can only imagine all the pics I have, I had to dump them from my cell and camera at the end of everyday to make room for more the next, omgosh I got so many shots, I have to go through them all, wanna put together a neat slideshow movie kinda thing for the boys each, something they can go back and relive anytime they want. Glad you like the VB betas, going to turn the rest of the betas this week and hopefully plugged in for bench test this weekend to first of next week!

Yeah well I love getting myself bday gifts, no one gets me better gifts than I get for myself lol, I have been wanting one of these for a while, a good deal came up and hey I am all about deals and so dig guns! The other day I bought a few watermelons, the boys said oh wow I cant wait to eat em, oh boys these arent for eating unless you wanna after putting a few rounds through em if anything is left, oh their eyes lit up and they were so excited. Melons lasted no time, the AR freaking destroyed em!

Only thing I can say is "It's probably not a good idea to be lurking round my place or showing up unannounced with a shady look on your face!" not a good idea!

Hi Ed - let me add my congratulations on your 40th. It may seem big now, but wait until you hit your 60th!! Hard to believe that guys like us can get so old but stay so fun loving immature! LOL

Not sure if you got my reply email but I did submit my order when I knew you were back in town and looking forward to getting some Ed's TnT wood!

Oh, I like guns also...but shotguns. I'm a clay target shooter and waterfowl hunter. Looked at a nice heavy barrel Colt AR for sale recently. Good deal. I was just pretty sure it would be a safe queen as my interests are in shotguns. Is that a Colt or...?? Very nice, mate, glad you are enjoying it.

    Cheers
