    @UnevenPizza, spot on. :tup:

Being a newbie to the nano, at least for a while, I now have my 4th initial nano ? in the same day. I'm sure many more to come as I read through the thread.

Can someone please confirm that while the dimmer has 11 settings on it, it only rotates up to 10. I've haven't begun to read the thread yet, but while looking for glassware for the nano, I came across a post (around page 660+ :o) that I think said that the dial only goes up to 10. On my particular cord, just shy of 10. Yesterday, I bpurchased some accessories off the website & I want to be sure that it's working properly before I send off an email I am preparing to Epic CS.

    Thanks!

BTW, @CarolKing, I did purchase the precision hydrabomb today, along with the basic mp since I also got the hydrobase bomb. The former 2 are 2nds. One of the few times I took a chance on 2nds. Don't know if it will turn out to be penny-wise & pound foolish, or I'll luck out like @Baron23. Fingers crossed & hopefully not this :ugh:, this  & this :bang:.

@lexawoods yes that is my cherry nano. I have a walnut as well. That pic was taken when it was about a year old.

@Summer it only goes to 10, unless they've changed it in the last few months, or in the past? I think it's just a nod to a funny movie.

I think there was a new dial that had some sort of clear plastic cover above it? That one only went from 1-10. But maybe that was all just in some freaky dream I had? :)

hey guys just got a new e-nano. Is it normal to have a very small temp range that works? For instance a 5 will vape my bud slightly, a 6 will almost combust, I'm scared to go higher than that cause it turns pretty much/almost black at 6. Could this be an issue? and anything lower than a 5 wont work

I just put to 6.5 and it cleared a pack in 1 hit, tried to make sure draw speed was slow as well

For myself, I moderate the hot air cooking the load via draw rate. I also try to make sure I am loading the same amounts of consistently ground bud and packing each of the loads down the same amount. Good Luck

Even thought the temp ranges from 1 - 10 (11), I've gone below 6 maybe twice ever and never go above 6.5. I'm usually sitting right at 6.333. I come close to combusting at 7 and that's not what I want. So yeah the range is small. Unless you use water and that might push things up into the 7 range for proper performance.

There are also variations due to electricity source. Some sources run hotter than others, and that affects the temp you set your dial to. One person's 6.5 might be another person's 6. Sounds like you might have a strong power source if you're getting things black at 6. I'd simply back it down from 6 a bit if you don't want that much heat.

I find 6.5 enough for dense milky vapor through water. Actually a bit too hot, got pretty dark. It depends on your material too, as well as how long you've let your nano heat up (I don't leave mine on 24/7 becauzzze of ze Stepdown Converter bzzzzz), but 7 minutes at 6.5 and that's how the business runs itself!

Same settings, but lower quality material yields less dense vapor, but the effect was still very noticeable!
So don't always only aim for thick ass clouds, in case you do (It was very important to me, now, not so much!)

^^THIS^^+1 on electrical source; my Nano uses a different value depending on which of the three floors I'm using it. I found this quite interesting and was going to try using it in different rooms on different levels but then I used my Nano and forgot about the whole thing until now. I'd say I'll do it later but I plan on using my Nano again later as well so...

@dutz3013 Y'know, I have never considered this until you asked but yeah, the range I use is very small given the available range. I'm always in the sixes:6.25-6.75 maybe? But once you factor in the electrical plug phenomenon, material differences (dryness/grind), plus an analog rheostat and we're all going to be running slightly different numbers. As a new Nano user, I initially didn't realise how much my breath rate could affect the temperature of extraction. Coming straight from combustion, I equated a faster draw with more :brow:; finally realised slow and steady wins the race with vaporizing. But I am slow sometimes. :mental:

More LOVE for the XL stem: Lately I find myself reaching for the longer stem more than the OG, even more than the j-hook! I would not have thought 2-1/4 inches would make a big difference but for me, it does. Perfect balance of cooling a bit more and FLAVOUR. I still believe that the Nano looks kick-ass on a j-hook, just like it was made for it! I still love the j-hook, but I'm so glad that Epicvape started offering this (in my mind) upgrade. I really consider it as an upgrade for those of us who like the direct draw experience.

Wish I could drive over to Costa Mesa, how epic would that be?

You got some great responses already. I'll just add that if my dial accidentally bumps my power level from 6 to 6.3 or higher I notice the difference immediately in the taste.

My sweet spot changed when I replaced the power cord on mine.

Best wishes with your new nano!

Depends on your cure of your CANNABIS or the out-put of your reciprocal?

I had a line of power that was weaker on one side when I grew INDOORS.
My grower friend gave me an OZ of GODS GIFT that was drier than a pop-corn fart!

6.4 and lower in my case!
    62% moisture is my aim,
    CANNABIS consumption.

The FLAVOR is important to me personally.

The NANO is good for that.

    Check your out-put first!

Cheap meter's from HARBOR FREIGHT might help you?
Water path is new to me. (JOINT'S were the fashion at the time)
My wife is anti-coughing so the NANO with water path is a sign of CIVILIZATION!

    Beautiful day off today.
This morning I found out I have a "dream car" (even though I don't even have a license). Been looking at pics of it while puffing on my nano for longer than I'd care to admit .

I've been trying out some different settings, seing if mine is also so sensitive, I tried to get it between 6 and 6.5. However I always keep forgetting to set a timer to get the same heat up time every try, for consistency.

I think that is a more influencial factor than load size, which is why I'm not weighing it (for now...)

Have any of you used markers/pens to mark a sort of baseline for the basket screen and/or the load?
I usually use the silicon cover, but it's a bit too loose.

Ran the Nano last night with a carb'd adapter and gong and it was fabulous. The nano is perfect for those who may like a light, frequent, sessions through the day but it will also rip huge clouds, which is not what its generally viewed as.

Key to me is heat soak (let the dang thing warm up well) and a gong/water pipe work well to allow me to take BIG ass draws.

I have been goose hunting all week and hurting from head to foot and wasn't interested in sipping last night....and my Nano delivered!

I like the NANO for some of your comment's.

The NANO taste so amazing to me + it's just right & effective! (I can study with a NANO)

You can adjust your water tool up or down depending on your preference?

I fill above the perk and sometime at the perk?

I'm behind concerning my VAPORIZING schedule because I'm so engaged in this book I'm reading.

    Excuse me!

    Time to NANO for CIVILIZATION

I loved your use of the CASIEN for a carb.
I took my FC UFO and a smaller MOUTHPIECE Water just over the PERK and 6.4 on my NANO & old CASIEN for a CARB and it was very satisfying! .

    I took photo's but I can't load them?
    I use imgur.com usually?

We need more stable people like U @Baron23 !

Sometime I fill the water in the can higher.
Lately just over the perk = I change water pipes for can size.

Excuse me I need another NANO session to stay CIVIL!

Put your water level where U like.
There is not a right or wrong way!
    Just a way!
