Yeah, I placed an order the same day as you and have sice been trying to get in touch with Andy to upgrade it and take advantage of the combo deal. Just too good to pass up and I really wanted to try both. Hope to hear from him soon, I'm sure he's just busy though. Sure would be nice to have some user videos to tide us over... *cough cough* :D

I know, get on it people. It's bad enough having to wait months for this thing, the least you queue jumpers could do is post some GD video for us to salivate over :D

Is it possible to load a video from an iPhone? I've got some on here but won't have my laptop for a few days :/

Is that a joke? Of course it is! Shoot it on the iPhone, upload the video to YouTube, then embed the link for us to watch!

Uploading it to YouTube keeps freezing my phone :/. I was hoping there was another way.

I almost wish I'd waited until now to order one since Andy is taking custom jpegs for laser engravings. I could have finally had my face on a vape... cuz that's been a longtime dream? :p

I've sent you an e-mail a few days ago about the package deal. I originally placed an order for just an E-Nano and someone accessories. And was hoping to switch it to the combo deal with a direct draw tube. Any way that can be worked out?

Custom jpeg laser engraving? I gotta jump on this :). I kind of wanted to hold off on any new vape accessory purchases for awhile. But this little beast has really peaked my interest .

Andy, what is the cost for laser engraving?

I don't have the budget for it myself right now, but imo custom engraving on a nano seems like it could make for an interesting valentines present for someone... :2c:

Got in touch with andy myself today to get my order switched to the combo deal. He said the ev-2 would ship this week with the E-Nano shipping later. Still waiting on something to switch on my end though (still showing my original order on the epicvape website) but Im sure Andy will get me taken care of soon enough.

I just received my Nano/EV-2 package in the mail. I ran through one stem on each, so here are my first impressions. This is my second Nano and it performs a bit differently than the first, so I'll compare all 3: old Nano (N1), new Nano (N2) , and EV-2 (EV).

I plugged the N2 in and set the dial for 5. I packed the all glass stem with .1g of ground material, indica dominant hybrid. My first draw was very flavorful but no visible sign of vapor. The second draw was about the same, but with a tiny wisp. I turned it up to 6. Here I got 2, still pretty flavorful good sized Clouds. A little warm on the throat but not irritating at all. At this point I had a very nice clear head high with a very light buzz on the body. Then I gave it a stir and turned the dial up to 7. This hit was BIG. A bit on the harsher side, but still nothing a small sip of water couldn't soothe. The body high kicked in full force. The flavor at this point was getting pretty stale. The ABV was looking an even medium brown. So I turned it up to 8 for one final rip. This one tasted pretty bad, on par with what I expected. The cloud was HUGE and sent me into a coughing fit. The ABV was a dark brown throughout, perfectly extracted. The most effective .1g I think I've ever vaped.

How does my N2 differ from my N1 then? The N1 gave me dark ABV at 6 on the dial. I would typically start around 3 for low temp. The N2 gave me dark ABV at 8 on the dial while low temp vapor started at 5. The N2 vaped very evenly with few stirs and there were never any dark spots. The N1 required stirring every hit or two to avoid dark spots. I wrote Andy asking if there was a change made to the heater core in the week between my units or if they just vary from one unit to another, so I'm curious to see his response.

The EV-2. Now this is a whole different beast. The two really aren't comparable IMO now that I've used them both. For starters, I LOVE the bowl on this. It's like a less refined ELB in a stem. Really awesome, no need to worry about material getting on the heater or falling or anything. Now, to start I packed it with .15 of the same material I used with the Nanos. I tried desperately to get vapor but couldn't. So I tried tweaking the temp by turning it up with a screwdriver. Still nothing, though I was getting a hint of flavor. So I added .1g more to it. Here I got a very small, wispy hit. Then a second. So I weighed out another .05 and tossed it in, totaling .3g. Now it really started to perform. Hit after hit after hit after hit. I took 7 hits in about 3 minutes, each a substantial size similar to the Nano. Then my throat got way too dried out and I entered into another coughing fit. Once I recovered, I put the EV on boost and gave it a rip. Maybe I'm too conditioned to Matrix-diffused vapor, but I found it way too hot and dry for comfort. It was a mighty big hit, but I won't be trying that again without a water tool. Plus I'm a bit frightened of the risk of combustion that Andy has warned about. I couldn't finish the .3g. After the Nano stem and those 8 EV hits I was finished. The EV still had a decent amount left. Probably another 5 hits or so. But that's what I'd expect with a bowl that size.

So all in all, I prefer the Nano at this point and more specifically my new Nano. In fact, ranking all 3 I'd have to say:

1. N2
2. EV
3. N1

If the variation between my two Nanos is to be expected, then it's a difficult decision. If my new Nano is the new standard, then without hesitation pick one up. The Nano produced vapor just as thick and dense as the EV using a third the material. Not to mention, the Nano has much easier and more precise temperature control than the EV and is half the size in every dimension. For personal use, get the Nano. For group use, I can see the EV being a simpler solution with its large capacity. Really, each fills it's own niche. The efficiency of the Nano is the deciding factor for me.

Wow!!! Great review green2brown! I'm pretty sure I'll get my E-Nano tomorrow and I will be posting pics on the Vaporpedia site and such. I can not wait to plug this thing in tomorrow and start posting my review. I know it's going to be amazing :-).

Edit: Did I mention I can't wait to get this thing? :-) I'm so pumped!

UPDATE: Just ran a few stems through the Nano. Same herb as before, but this time I got vapor lower on the dial, about 3 1/2, so just about the same as my first Nano. So maybe this one's still burning in? Either way, it's working great. The all glass stem is a little tight fitting on the heater core, though. It keeps getting stuck, and sometimes it's tricky to get on all the way. Looking at the bottom, it's not quite round so that could be the problem. I've e-mailed Andy because I'm a bit worried the stem will break or bend the heater core.

I'm really loving this thing, though. I'm contemplating selling it and buying a new one with an engraving, but timing it so I don't have to be without one for any period of time. I'm sure I could just send it back to Andy for an engraving, but I don't want any downtime without it :D

Already making some silicone bowls for experimenting with the e-nano. I'm thinking of raising the temp and using more herb(loosely packed) but putting the heating element farther away than usual. I'm used to just the one setting on my underdog and can't wait to play around with temps again. I'm goin for big big hits as I already get milky on demand hits from my UD. So Ill be in this thread a lot hopefully showin you guys some cool things I may figure out! Can't wait to rip this little sucker and put it to the test :D

For anyone wondering about the airflow: the EV-2 is wide open. No restriction whatsoever, though I'm finding a slower draw works better. Perhaps this is why the Nano has some added restriction? The Nano's airflow is a bit restricted, but nowhere near as bad as the Solo. I'm not sure I have a vape to compare it to really. It's the right amount of restriction, I'll say that. It makes it so you can pull soft or hard and get the same density vapor so there's not much technique needed. The EV-2 on the other hand feels like it has a bit of a learning curve to get an optimal hit. The EV-2 has a much airier hit than that of the Nano.

Delivery status says out for delivery. I should have my E-nano by about 1230 - 1300 today. Might not get a chance to use it until 1500, but hot damn am I excited. Videos to follow.

Andy, in spite of the issues getting one to me, thank you for using a decent shipping method that allowed me to see the updates all the way. Usually the last USPS update I get is when it leaves the USA.

FINALLY!

Now its time to clean all my glass in preparation.

Someones always watching..
Would the all glass wand fit other 3/8 cores like the UD?-looks interesting. 20 Dollars is a small price to pay. When you figure you will never need to buy silicone to mate your glass n log again
