if you bought a blackwood ti woody (looks like it applies to other woody's as well) with this gen 4 tip from puffitup, with the BF 20% discount, you could get a whole vc with that sought-after tip for as little as $64. Great deal.

All the Woody TI's from Puffitup are with gen 4 tips? I assume this only applies to the non S versions + doublecrown, correct?

Edit: I Just emailed Puffitup, they dont have any 7 fin tips in stock.

if I have an all Titamium Omnivap what would make the most sense to add to the collection next?

I guess a Ti-WoodyS . . . This way you'll have a spare Ti-Tiped Vapcap, with the added ability to swap the bodies over, and enjoy some of the Lego aspect of Dynavap.

Or the M as a cheaper backup for travel or the beach? Dynastashes are pretty cool. . the Vertigo Venom lighter is reliable, big tank and GREAT for outdoor use. . . There's so much money to be spent at the Dynavap site :)

I'm going to try and make this the first Sale/Promotion/Limited Edition that I don't get sucked into since my first Dynavap last 420. We'll seen how I go on that one :p . . .

Check your spam filter, and if not there make sure that you created an account at DV when you purchased. My email came about mid day today...

Ahahaha. Good luck with that. I already gave in. Now I'm just trying to limit it...

I never got an email & I'm registered. And, yes, I did check my spam folder.

I Just emailed Puffitup, they dont have any 7 fin tips in stock.

Yeah, I know. Alice at puffitup emailed me back yesterday & said they only have 5 fins. I'm assuming @paehtod's post resulted in others calling & exhausting whatever remaining 7 fin stock they had on-hand. You snooze, you loose. Nobody to blame but myself. :disgust:

You are a GODSEND cybrguy, I do not understand why DynaVap is in my SPAM box.
Doesn't Microsoft know anything?!!

I have a question for all the good people in this forum, who has had the wonderful experience of trying both the M and the TI tip.

Being an owner of the VapCap M, I love it. Now I am wondering just how much of an improvement the Ti tip is over the SS tip. I understand it has the adjusta-bowl, and the faster heat-up and cooling times. Also hearing that the grooves on the TI tip adds more of a convection aspect to the vapcap, I wonder

-Would the TI tip alleviate having to stir the chamber by distributing the heat more evenly?

I mean that as in, when I am vaping a bowlful in my M, I find myself having to mix the herb a couple times, in order to fully cook(?) it.

ps. I mostly use a quad torch, and heat it towards the mouthpiece end of the cap. I find myself still getting visible vapor when my herb is already pretty dark brown, around 5 heating cycles in. That is after I stir the herb post-3rd heating cycle, and usually end it then or after a 6th cycle.

Do the deeper grooves in the TI tip, allow for better heat dissipation(?) over the SS tip?

I always get perfectly evenly vaped herb with my ti tips but I think it's more technique than material because I can get the same in my stainless steel if I'm careful. But I've only ever used my M maybe 5 times

I have several Ti tips and have never even thought of stirring. They are fantastic imo.

I also have a few M's and I agree they are the bees knees though I would never need to stir the herb in my M either. Doing so would completely harsh my mello.

I like the Ti tips better but the thing with vapes for me is I develop my technique to maximize the particular vape I am using. So in this way the M vapes are a hard value to beat.

I never stir my vapcaps and the ABV is always very even and very done.

Thank You for the very quick replies, and inputs steama and Kalessin.

Now I am wondering if I'm doing something wrong on my M LOL.

I guess I have to experiment even more!

May I ask, How many heating cycles do you usually run through on one capful(tipfull?) of herb? and the bowl size you have the TI tip set on as you do?

hmm I understand
Are you heating a couple ticks past the click? Sometimes the M's like a little more heat imo.

A two count past the click. The later draws do not need extra time though.

I understand what you mean, I have tried the pre-heating method for the first heating cycle as well.
I would still end up stirring after the 3rd heating cycle, and come to a point where, after a heatup, and I split the time between the 'heated click' to the 'cooled click' in to 2 separate draws, I would still get visible vapor exhale on the first draw, and little to none on the second draw.

Then I would heat it up again for the 4th cycle and I would get way less visible vapor, even on the first draw. BUT if I stir it before the 5th cycle, there would be almost as much visible vapor as the 3rd. Hence why I feel the desire to heat it up for another 6th cycle and even 7th.

Perhaps I am being too greedy, trying to get those 'every last drop of vapor'. Or is it even vapor at that point? A Vapcap being a conduction vape, perhaps I'm cooking the herb so much, it is smoking? But I am not getting the taste of combustion, nor does the herb come out black.

Hi @DYNAmite , I think you have to try the single flame torch if you didn't yet, triple or quad torch heat up the cap to the click very quick, there almost only convection when you mouth/lung pull. Single torch will increase the heat up time of the cap, also more heat will transfer to the tip, means it add some conduction heat to the material, I found its most effective and some how more mellow of the taste when compare to full convection, but, YMMV:lol:

@stark1 I've found plenty of very expensive cigarette holders but this is the first time I've come across a stash that may re-purpose, and with 55% off.

Funny, the bill supposed to be The Original invoice is a bill sent to some monastery for Silver Album deck (don't know what it is) and a wooden case for it. 230 roubles of 1913 is like 5 grand now. Seems to be overpriced or a con at all, because Carl Faberge is famous for jewelry not woodworking

Damn paehtod, there you go taking the words out of my mouth, (or reading my mind).

DYNAmite, Do you grind or nug? How do you load, stuff or suck, tamped or loose? That is what is great about this system, so many ways to consume. The best part is the research to find the optimal way to consume. Welcome aboard, happy research. Good luck.
By the way my nick comes from the bike I ride, not this vape. Doc
