Lately there's been more than just @Hogni saying something about how fast the thread is moving. While they might not have said anything about all the discussion around shipping it certainly is inflating the amount of posts they're reading through.

I'm not trying to kill any vibes, I just wanted to point out that there is an actual discussion thread for the topic of shipping. I personally would prefer we could keep this thread clearer for people that need questions answered in terms of usage, assembly, maintainence, etc. Those helpful posts can get buried pretty quickly.

I'm just as excited to receive my little green envelope in the mail as the next guy. But I'm refraining from posting about it until I at least get the package. I'll have an omni in my hands finally and can't wait to take some photos and write a review. Speaking of which I would love to see more in depth write ups about the "M" after everyone has had quality time with theirs.

No trouble, no big emotions, it's just boring. I love this thread. There are such amazing postings regarding advices, customization, great pics and so on. I would be a pitty, if this thread would mainly contain never ending moanings, frustration and other negative vibes like the threads regarding the GH, CCA and others same as everybody would talk about his order at DV without any further useful infos how it started the last pages. There was no release of DV stuff in the past that causes such a flood of this kind of postings.

Anyway, I dont want to discuss this further more to prevent that my opinion produces negative vibes itself . It was just a short statement everybody should think about. That's all. Sorry for disturbing your joy!

I confess, I kinda dig the 'green room' energy of waiting for the arrival...still, Winegums is right: there IS a shipping thread elsewhere, and it IS for shipping issues, and we shouldn't clog this thread with such...nor should we fill the place with anticipatory angst over WHEEEEN??!?

To get away from the shipping.

I just want all the people are who expecting their first vapcap to arrive soon to read this. Do not get discouraged if initially the vapcap does not meet your expectations or needs. The first couple of weeks maybe even a month and a half I really was not too fond of my vapcap. Then I started really playing with it. Trying different techniques instead if just obliging by the clicks. Once you have some time with your vapcap you WILL find its sweet spot.

Now I pick my vapcap over my air pretty much every time. The clouds I get are enormous. The actual session itself is done in about 3 minutes. 5 whole minutes for the actual process of grinding packing Vaping storing the avb. Comparer to the 10+ minutes with most session vapes. The taste feels more natural to me than a battery. I have cleaned it once since I have received it, and that was the day I received it.

It really is just a great overall vape. It's not great for the size or great for the price it's a great vape period. It can easily stack up against those vapes that will run you over $250.

Let me interrupt the shipping reports introducing my Omni 3 x modded:

1. Screen in the cap posted earlier.

I vape tobacco and its vaporizing temp is much below of VC clicking temp. It is easy to overheat tobacco, spoiling the flavor and increasing toxic contents. The hottest spot of VC is bowl opening, where stuff touches the metal of cap directly. So I placed domed screen here, which leads to less charring and a bit more airflow as well. Doc likes this mod too.

2. Fine mesh in the bowl.

It is cut of "Stainless Steel Wire Mesh, Cloth" with 350 mesh/inch and opening 0f 0.042 mm, according to http://www.hebeiwiremesh.com/wiremesh/wiremesh7-1.htm. Tobacco dust irritates pretty hard so fine filtering is must. I tried cotton and hemp fiber, they do not last long, while this serves for days, 50-100 loads approx. I cut it a bit wider than CCD so it keeps itself well in the same groove above CCD.

3. Plastic mouthpiece.

Wood looks and feels great but it does not last long for mouthpiece. At the same time I dislike metal MP a lot. So I made mine of Vapcap OG rubber MP and some cigarette holder MP. The former once bathed in ISO for too long and became stiff. So it joins Omni TI MP to additional plastic MP securely.

Day three with my Ti Blackwood. I must say I'm loving it cumbusted my first bowl. Took apart cleaned now im in control " Respect the Click"
The first time it clicked so quick i mised it.
Im using my vapman torch and seems to work fine. Might get one of the. @Squiby recomended with the flint wheel the clicking is annoying SO.
I haven't reached for the SV3 yet so thats a good thing.
All though i did finish the evening with it.
Back to testing the click.

Wooden MP buckles up, fades and cracks. Look, I cleaned, dried, oiled, beeswaxed and finally polished the wood body below. Just 10 loads later it looked so-so, whitish:

All of my wooden bodies (2) /stems (3) cracked eventually.
Cotton and hemp fiber become too wet quickly and then block airflow. Both lasts less than 10 loads of tobacco and are not reusable.
I purchased Mesh-350 SWG-49 SS cloth at some local e-cigarette shop. I believe some e-cig online shops carry it too.

I think that this is probably so intense due to the tobacco that you're vaping. Especially, if you're using a kinda wet one.

I have a Ti Carbon-S and while I love the looks of the wood stems/bodies and mouthpieces I see here and on Reddit, I prefer the carbon fiber body for durability and zero maintenance.

I think it would be cool if @VapCap came with a carbon fiber mouthpiece, if that's even possible.

Do you think the nicotine vapor is eroding the wood stem, if that's the case you wouldn't be feeling very well I'd imagine, The Siberian weather? That wouldn't make much sense either, doubtful you'll be standing outside vaping all the time in that cold

I do not vape outside.
I doubt nicotine vapor may corrode wood some reported successful use of Ed's Air wooden stem for tobacco.

Saliva and your hands will leach the oils, compounds and sap out of the wood eventually. Notice how all wood left outside will go grey? That's because all that's left of the wood is cellulose.

After each use I used to rub my nose a bit with my fingers and apply all-natural NF wax to the stem...
Does the job, but the tip does looks a bit swollen from the moisture and a bit more matte/worn compared to the rest of the stem.
Now with the Omnivap, no more trouble! It should outlast me I think!
Where are those Ti spinning mouthpieces? I would certainly prefer them over the wooden ones or plain wooden stem... Are they in the buckburner cause of the 'M' @Arielle.Dynavap ?

Will any earth magnet off eBay do? Don't feel like paying $5 for a 12mm magnet straight from dynavap. Looks like I can get 10 12mm x 2mm for $1 on eBay.

A question to those who dab: Do any of you who already have a rig actually prefer to use the VapCap over a dedicated rig? I'm asking because I own a Magic Flight Muad Dib and I noticed I get much higher with far less wax on it vs using it in my "M"

Curious if anyone else having the same experience.

Tiny drop of shatter off the Storz & Bickel concentrate pad... It actually milked this tube twice but this gif site won't let me upload the whole clip.

Have you tried using a nugget to drop the shatter on? How does using a concentrate pad compare to it? Also where did you purchase those concentrate pads? Thanks.

Been using my omni with the cap pulled out slightly, seems to be more even ABV.
I do cram a lot in there though and do not grind.

Have you tried using a nugget to drop the shatter on? How does using a concentrate pad compare to it? Also where did you purchase those concentrate pads? Thanks.

The pads are from Storz & Bickel for my Volcano, you'll have to trim them down to fit the Vapcap. I'd rather use a rig but my cap hits pretty damn hard and is more discreet. I have used wax on nuggets, I rather hit it without mixing strain flavors on the concentrate pad though. Seems to hit harder on the pad too, I'm thinking more conduction from the SS pad? but I'm still new to using concentrates with my Vapcap. I usually use it for flower and just paint some concentrate on my Divine Tribe donut with my dab tool. I only have one cap... I need another so I don't have to mix flower and oil. What torch are you using? I use my single aimed at the bottom of the cap and get awesome tokes, but if I don't heat the cap right it could result in a subpar hit so check your torch + technique too.
