Welcome back to sea level @TheVaporist, and good reporting on extreme comditions.
Yeah this thread moves so fast.
I would be keen to know, what is the fastest moving thread here? Is it this one? It must be very close.

But more so, based on a gut feeling and a bit of logic, I would bet money that Dynavap sell more vaporizers each day/month, than ANY other vaoorizer manufacturer in the world!

What does anybody think? It has to be a possibility, thouh I dont know the vaporizer market that well to be honest so its still a guess.

I have really been enjoying my Omnivap more lately with the new, but not newest, tip.
I am using it currently with the short 18 mm VonG into a small bubbler. Without any hemp fiber at all, there is better airflow, and I like one long draw for the biggest hits possible.

Anyway, my current technique is to heat with the quad torch, just like George in his video, vapcap tilted. I heat the lower cap first cycle, then stick to middle.

Now, pretty much everyhting is extracted on the first 2 cycles. I pack a full load, full bowl. Not compressed, but max amount. This always gives me bigger hits. I also have opened up the airflow wide with the mouthpiece. Not fully open, at least half way with mouthpiece adjustment. I really cant handle full air restriction hits on the bubbler. It just makes my neck and back ache.

Im not even finding it necessary to cover the VonG carb hole to get whitewall vapor. I can have it completely open and flowing, and still get the thick vapor.

The first 2 cycles are equally huge hits now, both whitewalled. Sometimes the 1st cycle is the bigger hit, sometimes the second. The third sees only whispy vapor now.
I really want less heat cycles due to my hand, wrist problems with the lighter and rotation. Until now I was having to do 5 to 7 heat cycles to extract the lot.

Now I only do the 3rd cycle not to be wasteful. The first 2 both hit me harder than ever, and I need recovery time! Not a "one hitter" exactly, but certainly a "hitter". Call it a "two hitter".

On saturday, I vaped 3 ful bowls over 2 hours in evening. When I went to bed, I was actually too stoned! The quicker extraction due to my current technique guves a much stronger effect now, and it is less strain on my hands with less cycles. Really enjoying it! ;)

Is the TiGlassy very versatile? Can I add stuff like a wood or a carbon fiber stem etc... What exactly can I do with it? What size pieces will fit it? What pieces can I add to it later is what I'm asking. :)

Ti Tipped Vapcaps are fully modular. You can do anything you want. You can:

- swap out the glass stem for another stem. Wood stems can be straight or 14mm VonGs.
- swap out the glass stem for a body and mouthpiece. Bodies can be straight or VonGs. VonG bodies come in either 14mm or 18mm diameters and can be used dry or with water tools.
- swap out the standard condenser for an Omni condenser and mouthpiece and body of your choice for a dialed in airflow and extreme durability.
- swap out the standard condenser for an XL version. This allows you to add a mouthpiece to any stem resulting in a longer Vapcap. Vapcaps with regular condensers are 3.5 inches long. Those with an XL condenser are 4.25 inches long.

All of the body, stem, VonG and mouthpieces come in a variety of materials. So, the choices are many. In addition, you can add a custom stem or body to your Ti Tip from @Phattpiggies stunning collection.

The Ti Glassy is fully modular. Your imagination is your limit. Below is the Vapcap 101 post. It describes the Vapcap parts and some of the options.

Enjoy!!!

Thank you for the info! That's exactly what I was wanting to know, sounds like the best choice for my first VapCap.

Wow! I feel like a crazy person... :mental: Finally made my first order... !
I started with just an OG in the cart, then I found this forum... :worms:
I've been adding and removing items in my cart for two weeks now.. I have thought about every combination I think...
I think I have the perfect starter combo now... and I can add onto later......

So... If this helps anyone make their decision.. I pulled the trigger on a Blackwood Ti-Vong XLS and a Ti-Glassy!!
I think this looks like one of the most versatile combos for the price... this should allow me to get or make a new body or stem later (ie. Carbon Fiber, Damascus, or such) and also hopefully get a Omni XL Condenser when available...

I was going to get a full set-up such as the Ti-Vong XLS along with a standard or omni condenser and an extra stem or body + some extra parts (o-rings and such) .. but I realized the Ti-Glassy gives me all the extra parts I might need and I get the Ti-Tip and Cap too!!

I did get extra Ti-CCD , some hemp fiber, a Dynamag and some stashes 1 lg 1 sm...

Now.... I just need to wait patiently until my green or purple package arrives... (Pics soon to come!)

Thanks guys for answering all my questions...:spliff:

thoroughly vaped
Im a big fan of this vape , i love the efficiency , ease of use and portability of it.

How do you guys feel it compares to the vapman?

I've had a VapMan for a few years. It had kind of fallen out of the regular rotation before I got my first VC, but has been sorely neglected since.

Still like the VM, and it is a beautiful piece. But prefer the VC for these reasons (and probably a few more):
  • easier to load - just use straw method with VC. No loading ring and trying to keep all in gold dish.
  • Much more portable, whether just in doob-tube, dynastash, or any one of several small pouches I've gathered since getting a VC. VM is small, but big in your pocket.
  • Much less learning curve due to the clicks. Respect the clicks and your VC will never disappoint! VM has that tough learning curve to figure how long to heat. This of course changes depending on conditions (i.e. out in the cold) and torch used, and for whatever reason requires a bit of remedial practice when you haven't used it for a while (6+ weeks or whatever).
  • VC easier to use more discreetly. Partly because you don't have to be as conscious of roasting your fingers, but also doesn't require the closely targeted heating of VM.
  • VM is beautiful with options (I think you can still get customs), but VC has SO MANY different interchangeable components - from different bodies/stems to different configurations with some of the same parts. AND, can get custom woods (and other materials) and have the end of the cap customized.
  • VM is easier to clean, and doesn't require acetone for a good cleaning.
  • OMNI! It costs a few bucks more, but is totally worth it IMO. Truly a premium piece.
  • Cost. An OG can be delivered to your door for less than $45 - not a bad entry point. Even Ti-woodies and others run a bit cheaper than the VM.
VM is nice and will still keep and cherish mine. I do prefer concentrates in it (with optional concentrate screens), but honestly haven't tried to run much (or hash) through VCs. I usually use other vapes or go with the torch.

Really wish I could say there were some cons for the VC in comparison, just to be fair. But, IMO the only one is VCAS. There's always more stuff you want to get, and George (being the super-genius he is) is constantly updating, upgrading and coming out with new stuff.

@BigJohnny unfortunately vapefiend is the only Dynavap supplier I know of in this neck of the woods and he doesn't sell them. I reckon he is worth questioning to see if he will stock in the future.
In the mean time I suggest you leave the screens in the tips, they are very well made and it's not necessary to take them out being easy to clean left in the tip. As long as you empty after use and don't leave abv in the tip they stay quite clean.

Does anyone know if the screens are available to buy in the UK? In hindsight I should have bought spares when I got my Vapcaps to save on postage. Can't really justify paying all that shipping costs just for some screens.
Some one said @VapeFiend.com will be selling the omni soon I'm sure he will be stocking screens and o rings very soon and wouldn't be surprised if they started to stock stems body's mps condensers and everything uk cappers need
Dope fiend loves his vapes and brings all the best products to the uk so hang in there

How do you guys feel it compares to the vapman?

I have a couple of Vapmans. They are excellent vapes with some very nice features. I don't use mine anymore but I won't part with them.

@flotntoke pretty much covered the Vapman/Vapcap comparison. I only have a couple of points to add.

- the Vapman must be heated with a single jet lighter, while the Vapcap can be heated with single or multiple jet lighters as well as other heat sources.
- the Vapman delivers a slightly hotter and harsher vapor. Not by much, but it is noticeable. The Vapcap delivers a smoother vapor and with the addition of a hemp filter screen sandwich, the vapor is super smooth and completely non-irritating to sensitive lungs.
- regulating airflow is more difficult with the Vapman with its three air carbs on the midsection. It can be done but it is awkward.

I am speakless. THAT IS BEAUTIFUL. Here we have another postcard.

We need a Vapcap calender or maybe a Vapcap of the week, just to keep us drooling.

@DarkSm0ke that kitty cap will have your Woody purring in no time!

I recall there were images being posted, which all made for thosefine end-cap engravings, but in my gobbling-up of info, I failed to note the pages, or save any images; if anyone is willing to share such images again, or put up links to those posts, that'd be great.

Seriously, about to grab an Omni & would love to add a touch like that - a sun, that swell tree, an om, not sure what-all's been put up....

TIA!
