I grind mine. I've read a few people, I belive @Squiby is one, who just pops a little nug in the chamber.

I usually take a decent sized nug, grind it and put it in a small glass jar for a few days. Just suck up a quick pack and blow it into AVB jar when done.

Personally I've never gotten the best results with a solid nug but obviously lots of other people have
After using both the supreme v3 and the dynavap, which incidentally are a great combo, for vaping whole bud, I'll stick to the sv3.

If you want to vape whole bud and you want to be roughly portable get the supreme v3! Sorry I love my supreme v3 a lot.

Edit: to make clear I prefer the sv3 for while nug use which it does ridiculously well

Get on the list regardless- it is not short and @Pipes wants nothing but your patience until your name comes up, you could always decline at that point :2c:

:peace:
That makes sense to me too. @Pipes is getting more orders than he can fill quickly, so you may learn enough about the coming DV product to make a decision before Pipes is ready to ship yours. I'm sure there will be another customer for the parts Pipes may be ordering based on his wait list.
Some time I am gonna want a portable IH so my Jarhead may well hit the classified eventually, but for now I only NEED it at home.
If we avoided posting while vaping this forum would be a ghost town!
I was about to say exactly that. And if not a ghost town, way less entertaining.

While I do do whole nugs occasionally in both the VCs and more often in RBT vapes, I really reduced my nug vaping after I stopped using the HA. The HA is far and away the best nug cooker I have used.
Generally these days I like a medium grind.

Guys, lemme ask you something... Do you grind your weed before using it with the VapCap? I just did it without grinding it and it was not bad, to be honest... Anyone willing to share a more detailed impression on the differences pros / cons of grinding vs not grinding? O:
I'm a lazy vaper. I store my daily bud in small jars, buds intact. I pluck a small nug off the bud and vape it. This works great for microdosing and may not be so great for full bowls but I love not having to add the extra step of grinding.

I'm asking you all to hold me to this years resolution, fellow Capheads. Not that you can actually stop me doing something stupid, but you can promise to shame/mock me publicly in perpetuity.
Sorry. But I don't think that I can help you with this....

@thatoneguy445 you have a stunning chunk of wood you have there. Really beautiful! Where can one view @Aezhenn work?

Thanks @Squiby! It turned out better than I'd even hoped.

After looking for "pen holders" and "test tube holders" online, and not finding anything I liked, I figured I'd check around here. Ended up finding this thread: http://fuckcombustion.com/threads/wood4vape.24078/ with @Aezhenn's unique work. Interestingly enough he also makes some stuff for Ed's shop under the "Wood4Vape" tags.

I'm trying to add just 2 custom VapCaps (phattpiggie&SDS) this year. Two. And somehow, I'm trying to sell it (to myself) that this represents real self-discipline on my part. "Just the two decadently luxurious stems for me, please. I'm roughing it this year." What a Spartan! I'm asking you all to hold me to this years resolution, fellow Capheads. Not that you can actually stop me doing something stupid, but you can promise to shame/mock me publicly in perpetuity.
So, you want ME to stop YOU from buying more VCs? Really? Who is gonna stop ME??? A few flash sales later and stealthily I somehow now have 2 more VCs. It's like magic.

Been thinking I need (there's that fucking word again) something from PP and WG and SDS sometime soon (sorry guys, if I use your full names it will somehow become a sale, I know it will) because their level of artistry is so high, but my VC count keeps going up while I'm looking elsewhere. If this keeps up I won't NEED Squiby's trousseau...

What's that about Robinson Crusoe? Sorry I'm really congested today and having trouble with my senses. That last bowl in the sv3 didn't help either.

I'm already up-selling myself. I already have half a dozen vapes. Not sure if I need another. Not sure if I will like it, being an x cig and j smoker of many years, its nice not to think about ashtrays, matches or...lighters. Thought I'd start with an M to be rational about it, given I'm old and on a semi-fixed income. But the styles change on the DV site by the minute. I've had very good experiences with Sneaky Pete and was looking there too. Unfortunately there I saw a cocobolo omni. Having hung out here for a bit, I have been so impressed with the love and knowledge and workmanship in beautiful polished wood. I share that love of woodwork. And the actually stunning beauty turned out by fc-ers! Just wow! In his extended video, Pete showed a burl vc--I think I could be in love again. So I've ordered my first, the cocobolo omni.

Am I headed down the rabbit hole? It's my natural habitat!

Good choice you got the omnivong right? Either way good choice. I'm really missing my dynavap. It's why I've been paying so much in this thread. It's almost gotten to the point where I start stalking my mail carrier in the morning to get my package quicker. Not that bad. Not yet.

What do you guys think about the ER versions of Dynastash?

Having more storage is always nice but it seems a bit forced to me. I think I prefer the original. I’ve never seen them in person though.

I LOVE my M when out and about, BUT...

Monday night I went out to a gig and wanted to cap a vap just before I went in.
It looked too cracky to heat up the M on the street with a triple jet torch while we walked there so I went via a back street. Thing is I felt like a crackhead huddled in a doorway doing this and it ruined the first 30 mins of the buzz because I had been so worried about being caught.

If it weren't for the shady looking heatup procedure in public I'd use the M (or Omni Ti :)) with much more relaxed freedom, but I think I need another (more stealthy) electric for this. It's a bit of a shame because I thought that Vapcap was going to be the answer to all my mobile vapings but I hadn't thought it through properly.
Oh well, I suppose it's not exactly BAD news :)

I know that feeling.
For me thats a real downside in the dynaverse.

Here in the eu we have people heating crack and H in public in certain hotspots in certain cities.

Vapcapping makes you look like one of those ...

I never vape outside in public. Never found a need to. But for outside public vaping, I would use an Induction Heater. @Pipes has the mini PS available. Dynavap has the mug Induction Heater coming soon and @Phattliggie is working on a two piece IH. Induction heating would be THE way to go in a public setting.

I think you're right about an IH. I hope they get smaller and smaller!
I'm going to mention that the reason I find the need to vape in public is because I used to be alcohol dependent so I'm unable to have a beer etc when out socialising, and find vaping flowers really help with cravings in these situations and makes me feel less left out. Just don't want to come over as an irresponsible user giving herb a bad name by using it in public. Sorry for going OT or sounding defensive! :)

I vape in public with my DynaVap without much trouble, albeit not in all public setting. Some people claim it looks bad, but I usually don't care (at most, I go a few steps away to finish my bowl and go back). To me, people smoking a cigarette look and smell way worse than Dynavapers do!

But you DO need something from all these artistes! The thing is you know you won't regret it at all and what are a few more tips & caps down the road? You and Squiby are correct of course, asking a hotbed of Vapcap lovers to hold me accountable is unreasonable. So alternatively, we could just encourage and enable each others' spiral into shameless consumerism. Yeah, let's do this instead! Sounds like more fun. :brow:
PS @Squiby I love you for much more than just your trousseau. But your trousseau is rather sexy. :luv:
