Do edibles lower your immune system

Reason I'm asking, I recently got a bad sore throat with slight cough. I didn't vape for a few days and started to fell better. Last night I tried some edibles and now my sinuses are acting up and I feel much worse. I even got the feeling of tickle down the throat with hacking cough, similar to post nasal drip.

I'm pretty healthy and rarely get sick. Is it bad idea to try edibles when you already have a cold?

Yea I was thinking same thing, it started with me cleaning dusty ass garage.

This morning is pretty bad, with painful chest coughs. I'm afraid it turned into bronchitis already. I'm trying my best to drink plenty, rest and take OTC meds. I have a big bear trip this weekend and I would hate to cancel.

I guess my best bet is to stop edibles until immune system is better.

It might be the edibles... if you have a sensitivity or intolerance to an ingredient, such as wheat, corn, or soy, or even dairy... that could trigger inflammation.

Or, it could be just timing... it took that long for it to surface on you, after being exposed/infected.

I usually use honey & lemon for chest coughs...
