Hi buddy, any update? I was looking into the DR Double 10 Arm Gridded Apocoline Straight tube, would love to hear your thoughts.

I have been following BigDaddyVapors thread on getting a glass piece, and I got a lot of good info from all the posts. After researching many other forums, as well as this one, I just ordered the Dirty Rico 12 arm Apocoline perc, and can't wait to receive it, you know...All I can say is that I was torn between 2 pieces that were available online, and once I saw the Dirty Rico, it really spoke to me, much much more that any piece I had seen. Everyone on this forum has an opinion, and that's what I love/hate about these forums is that they are all user opinion, but I can garner some good info about particular pieces. Having said that, unless you have measurable and factual evidence that one piece is better than another, then you should state that this is YOUR opinion. Everyone has their favorite vaporizer, and when I read that the LSV is SO superior to the EQ, I definitely have to take pause. I have the EQ, as well as the Solo, and would not trade them for anything anyone posts here that says they are superior, as it's all in the user experience.

I try to avoid the discussions. Sometimes, someone will make a silly comment about a piece, vape I own and I will have to correct them, but VS threads, inevitably turn ugly. This isn't like GC... you won't see many people bagging on your purchases. In fact, most will usually give you props. Somebody will always like something.

Plus, the mods keep a close eye on VS stuff, so they rarely get out of hand. I would say our biggest problems, is with a bunch of marijuana users... we tend to go off-topic and drive 'em nuts.

As for the DR. I can't see you being disappointed with your purchase. Its a damn nice piece of glass, for a great price. You'll be singing its praises. Love to see pics, when you get it.

It's kinda hard to tell from the pics, I'm wondering about the construction of the actual perc.

Is it basically a tree with holes running along the sides of each "branch" like slits would be on a normal tree, or something different?

The branches are solid rods. The bottom is sealed. The rods are fused together, except he somehow creates pretty consistent/even holes between each fusing of the rods.

I agree with David at ALT. This is a fine piece for dabs. Now, I just have to improve my technique.

Oh and they should list that as GRIDDED circ/circ to circ... OMG that is scrumptious!

I love everything about dirty rico, particularly his insanely clean circs except the bend on the fixed stem where it's welded to the can, I looks rushed to me IMO. Otherwise they're amazing scientific pieces.

I think that's just their style. I didn't like it at first, but I realize how unique it is now.

I always liked the look of their glass...some of the percs remind me of tentacles :D It's the name I have a problem with. Makes me think of dirty sanchez.

Edit: Here you go folks...I think I found their inspiration:

With the dull white color of the logo "splash", I always figured it was intended to be a dirty jizz shot :worms:

edit: would be GLAD to be corrected on that haha

I thought I was the only one who secretly thought it looked like jizz :smug:

Ditto. Then I discovered its purpose.

It's the splash break/brake/guard. Pretty ingenious.

To clarify, this circled part is bent like it is to prevent splashback getting your weed/vaporizer wet immediately after a hit?

Sorry, I misunderstood... he does the same bend on the MPs to. Whether its intentional or not, it does act as a splash guard.

My piece is a dewaar, not a stemless. It appears, it just might be his style. I don't mind it at all on the MP. Its thick and strong as @#$% there.

That funny bent piece and still one of my favorite rigs!

Back for more eye-candy loving, in close-up, slow-mo action

    HD as always

The beaker base has a more stable appearance than some of the straight tube base Dirty Rico pieces. That is very nice diffusion indeed.
