Boy just got home from a full day at the DFO in Eugene. Talk about artists and major glass floating around, but watching the artists work (like Cowboy) and meeting them was even better. Hanging with Bob Snodgrass for a while was really cool. He is an out going and all smile type of person.

Also, nothing like hanging with Scott, Quave, Dan of Mothership. Royalty for sure.

I grabbed some shots I will post later.

Yes they large glass shop in Oregon. Nearly the glass capitol. Funny Eugene is your area @t-dub , mine also. Eventhough I live outside Portland, i'm around Eugene a lot. Seems every artist in the PNW is here.

Typical showing of local people doing smaller stuff. Pendants, carb caps, dabber etc
This person was selling carb caps that looked just like a super micro bubbler. Bought one, very sweet piece and only $40. I didn’t even try to lower it. Want these artist to do well.

There was some nice discounts there. Grabbed a $900 retail Hamm Mini Sputnik for $600 and met Hamm himself! It was so good, I offered to get one for the person who sold me my new worked Contrabasso. He was selling it to buy one of these. Was even looking for an used one for under $700, well I got him a brand new one form $600. Love helping others, a full circle win.

OK, some nice stuff being shown:

OK shitty pic of me Bob Snodgrass and me. The side light was horrible:

I have only lived in Eugene/Springfield since the early 80's. Guess that doesn't make it "mine" but it's nice you know the local talent. Personally, I'm not plugged in.
