    Hi,

Was wondering if anyone could advise what, if any, Carcinogens are released when vaping and the typical temps you'll find them at?

The reason being I am in need of 3 Dental Implants and after researching it seems getting them is a bad idea if you smoke (Tobacco in particular due to Nicotine but some claim Cannabis as well) as it affects it the ability for the implant to fuse/heal due to smoking weakening your immune system?

This is less asking for Medical advice and more I have an appointment with the Dentist I'm going to get the work done at next week and I want to query them on what the potential ramifications are of vaping weed during the healing process and after and it would be a help to throw out the names of the Carcinogens I may be inhaling, Thanks!

When getting any kind of surgery involving teeth removal and such its best to completely stop smoking/ vaping so I've heard. Has to do with not using those particular mouth muscles/ not getting foreign debris/germs in the holes. Maybe just stopping completely during healing process is your best bet? . Maybe if it was me I'd try edibles( soft ones?) Until I healed up. Great question. Good luck buddy! Cheers, D. Ps- yeah it would be neat to know about the carcinogens and temps. Eeentresting..

Yeh, I was expecting to have to stop for the first couple of weeks atleast so the negative pressure in mouth when toking doesn't break the scabs, that or don't use water in my water tool so there isn't much draw restriction.

But to fully heal, get the implants and then for them to fully heal as well... I could be looking at 6-9 months and I don't think I can go that long, edibles are always an alternative but honestly I have never been a fan of being locked into the ride incase I overdose or underdose then go for more and go too far.

Was considering just using some Natural & Organic Anti-Bacterial mouthwash like this Aloe Vera one after every session as when eating/drinking its likely crap will get into the open wounds much like vaping while they heal =/

I have good personal experience with hot distilled water and iodized salt gargle/ mouthwash. Pain in the ass but cheap. Diligence is the key as it tastes horribly. I'm sure you know already about the salt water but damn if it doesn't work/seem to speed healing:D.

Smoking I would definitely avoid. With vaporizing, I'm not sure about your immune system/infections, but be careful with dry mouth if you get oral surgery. Also, be careful coughing too hard. You don't want to open anything up. The same goes for sucking too hard to draw the vapor. You aren't even supposed to use straws after some things, like wisdom tooth extraction.

I didn't stop when I had some oral surgery, but I had to be careful.
