My second Da Vinci finally pooped on me after less than three months of use. I'm gonna try and get a refund as I no longer believe this product is right for me. Now I have to pay off some bills to make room for the Cera.

I tried again, and this time I succeeded at uploading the video. the taper I cut on the silicon stem isn't very visible(the room has a window mostly on the north, and it's winter), I tried to show it a bit better under the light of the screen of my ipod, but rhat didn't really work out so it looks a bit odd, me waving an ipod over a silicon tube.

btw, easter egg: the shirt I'm wearing is 100% hempfiber(and the shirt underneath 55%)

I have been trying to contact your customer service for a week now. There are two (similar) numbers listed on your web site:
800-336-7224 - When I call I get a recording that "this number is not in service"
866-336-7224 - This number seems to be a fax machine and all I get is the whistle as the fax tries to answer. No human contact from either one.
Please advise if there is anotjher number.

That's odd...I know one of the numbers rolls over if it's busy. I'll look into that immediately. Call our direct line:

    702.966.9969
    702.616.2298

I just called 702-966-9969 and got another "number not in service" message.
When I called 702-616-2298 it just rings with no pickup. I hung up after 20 rings.

    Very frustrating.

I'm sitting right here...PM me your info and I'll call you right away. The 702.616.2298 number is working...but for some reason our other lines are down.

We are working on this with the phone company to see what happened. Sorry for the frustration and confusion.

I posted it to your profile page (not sure if that's how to PM on this forum but it was the only option I saw).

With regards to using the DV with oils/waxes.

What are some of the different solutions you all have come up with to get the oil can to sit a bit higher or line up correctly for vaporization ?

Any "out of the can" methods work better?

Currently I just use a number of SS screens stacked on the bottom of the main chamber.

today in the coffeeshop I dumped out my grinder to fill my DV, looked like plenty of small bits of herb but as it stuck majorly to my fingers I found out it was actually more parts kief as I thought. that was enough to fill half the chamber, topped it up with some of the weed I just bought.
and when it had heated and I started taking hits from it, I discovered the DV CAN make clouds(I had it on 180 degrees celsius btw)
the brush that comes with the DV works well for brushing out my grinder, and gathering herb/kief if I dump out my grinder on a glossy paper(I use a booklet from a concert that was held this summer)

I've been using the temp control more than I ever thought I would. I start at 350F and get nice clouds and flavor. End sessions at 390. Lowest setting on the Pax is 370. I think they're missing out a little bit.

    Hello All,

Just received a DaVinci yesterday from EZVapes. It is actually a Christmas gift for a family member.

Wanting to ensure it was fully charged, I plugged it in before I went to bed last night. When I woke up, it indicated that it was still charging. When I unplugged it, it showed 4 bars. When I hit the heater button, it dropped to 3 then 2 bars while the temperature was still climbing.

I didn't have the chance to test it yet to see how long the batteries would last as it is a gift and all.

A dude named Bruce at DaVinci told me that some units have a display issue and that he was "85% sure my unit was OK". I can live with the display issue but am still unsure how long the batteries will last. I'm not thrilled with the answer either, to be honest. And it looks like it will be too late to get a new one in time for Christmas. That is a real pain in the ass.

Anybody with similar issues? Any advice?

Oh, I left an e-mail with EZVapes as well letting them know of the issue.

Thank you for your help and advice. I certainly hope DaVinci takes the time to respond to my issue here.

Like Dreamerr said, at least one guy had similar issues in the last month or so ( I recall more than one??), a few cycles seems to sort it out.

Loosing a bar when the heater comes on is quite normal.

My old davinci did this , but I would.only get about three 5 minute sessions , My replacement I did five 10 minute simulated sessions with no inhales, and had battery left!
So if your getting at least 4 -5 sessions 10 minutes or less, then I thing your good, when heater is heating up its normal for one or two bars to go down !
    Hope this helps

I have this issue. The battery icon always flashes when I have it plugged in. The only way to see that it's fully charged is to unplug it and check the bars. The bars always drop when the heater comes on, but then replenish if the temp goes over and the heater shuts off. My battery life has been good though, and even gotten better after the first week or so.

Just to close out my earlier thread, the DaVinci folks sent me a reolacement uniit which arrived yesterday (returned old unit today). The new unit seems to produce a bit more vapor which makes me think it runs a little hotter than my old unit and that's OK.

A big thanks to Davinci_vaporizer for expediting everything.

So I have two huge problems that I could seem to find solutions to anywhere. I can't get the screen off above the chamber because it won't screw off, it's so caked together that it can't twist off. I've tried everything imaginable, has anyone had this problem or know a possible solution? My screen really needs to be changed.

My next problem is that my oil can is fucking stuck in the chamber. I gave up pretty early on this one after working with the screen for hours, so if anyone could help I'd highly appreciate it.

Heat it up and use a pair of pliers. If that dosen't get it off, nothing will. That should help with the oil can too.

    Good Morning,

Turns out that there is a problem with my batteries and my display. Two for one! :)

Karma has been excellent. They contacted a Canadian distributor (I am Canadian) who in turn contacted a retailer in the city I will be going to for Christmas. I'll be able to swap it out when I arrive. Cool.

I also want to say that all of you have been excellent as well. Really felt like you guys cared with your advice and suggestions. You have a great community here.

A little humor for you (very little!):

One particular Christmas season a long time ago, Santa was getting ready for is annual trip, but there were problems everywhere. Four of his elves got sick, and the trainee elves did not produce the toys as fast as the regular ones so Santa was beginning to feel the pressure of being behind schedule. Then Mrs. Claus told Santa that her mom was coming to visit. This stressed Santa even more.
When he went to harness the reindeer, he found that three of them were about to give birth and two had jumped the fence and were out, heaven knows where. More stress.

Then when he began to load the sleigh one of the boards cracked, and the toy bag fell to the ground and scattered the toys. So, frustrated, Santa went into the house for a cup of apple cider and a shot of rum.
When he went to the cupboard, he discovered that the elves had hidden the liquor, and there was nothing to drink. In his frustration, he accidentally dropped the cider pot, and it broke into hundreds of little pieces all over the kitchen floor.

He went to get the broom and found that mice had eaten the straw end of the broom.

Just then the doorbell rang, and irritable Santa trudged to the door. He opened the door, and there was a little angel with a great Christmas tree. The angel said, very cheerfully, "Merry Christmas, Santa. Isn't it a lovely day? I have a beautiful tree for you. Where would you like me to stick it?"

Thus began the tradition of the little angel on top of the Christmas tree.

    Thanks again, everyone. Merry Vaping!

    Hi, irjesusthe2nd

CentiZen is correct. Heat should do the trick.

If I may make a recommenation: use steam. Boil up a pot 'o water, put on an oven glove and hold the stuck part in the steam for 30 seconds or so. Then use pliers like CentiZen said. That should loosen up the resin that is acting like glue.

Using a lighter or flame, you might risk melting the plastic around the screw-on screen.

I just use the unit to heat it to remover the top cap. Being a woman helps in these situations cause I can turn the cap as it is hot...guess you guys will need a glove cause it is hot. I can never get that cap off cold unless I have used the vape very few times since the last cleaning. If the oil can got stuff you must of had a dirty chamber so the resin glued it in. Heat all the way as high as your DV goes and it should release after a few mins if that long. This is where that old 430 degrees came in handy. I am glad with the original for so many reasons. Not one day of trouble with it.
