I don't think I've tried straight kief in the DV, but what would be the advantage to using the can as opposed to just loading the regular chamber?

It doesn't foul the bowl that way.

Stu: I wouldn't try to pack kief directly into my chamber. Kief might make a real mess of the bottom chamber screen. Pain to clean. Dreamerr: Putting kief loosely in the can (w/o the cotton wad) makes for good vapor clouds and clean-up is EZ. Give it a shot. ABV comes out in a dark brown chunk with a light tap if it's fully toasted. IF...it is not fully spent, a sticky mess can remains in the can. So...suck on it til you know it's done.

I suppose that was a stupid question of mine. Blame it on lack of quality herb here in S. America. I'm drinking way too much beer to compensate.....if that is even possible.

I'm not so sure it was stupid, but I did feel compelled to comment on it...... One way or the other stupid questions and I seem to eventually get linked up together, I gotta say I like being on the answer end of a few to kinda balance it out. Know what I mean?

Bummer about the herb situation. Then again I've lived and worked in such places. It is what it is. I've also had to deal with dry conditions (both on ship and ashore) which can make it even worse......

It's the traditional mechanical concentrate, pressed into the hash of our youth in the places that now supply Europe (Morocco, Lebanon, and so on). Targeting dried Trichomes. It's usually screened out as I understand it, kind of like dry bubble hash? Done well it's splendid. Bordering on amazing. And when it's bad, it can still be pretty good.

And don't even get me started on that memory thing. As far as I'm concerned if it's really important, they'll call back......

Well what can I say. I guess I was confused yesterday so for your entertainment here is what happened. First I tried to turn on the DV and it wouldn't go on. I thought it was broken but duh confused and didn't press the second button long enough. Yes, I did wait and watched the blue light and was hoping it would turn red although I forgot what color it was suppose to be. Mind you I used the DV a few days ago.

Next I loaded up the oil cart with the "kief" well not really. I labeled my bottles wrong and was wondering why it didn't look like fine dust. I loaded it loosely and cranked to 410 and it tasted gross. Ok so it was regular ground herb duh again. I was amazed that I did get some meds through the cart. I suppose for those who want can experiment with raising the temp and using the cart to vape but it does really blacken your ABV.

I waited a bit and fixed my labels on my bottles. I now loaded the cart with yes kief. I cranked up to 410 again and it was way better tasting. I didn't try lower temps but I think it may work. I am not sure this is the most useful way to use your kief however.

I truly don't know how I feel about this but again remember where my head was at. If you find my head send it back. I think I need it to function.

If anyone else tries this I would love to hear there experiences and temps ect.

Edit: I forgot to mention the unit was sooooooooooooooooooooo hot and of course the cart was as well. It took a really long time for the unit to cool down. I removed the cart with the brush tool and let it cool on my bed. It still took about five minutes till I could empty it.

Sooo.. Is the contest called So You Think You Can Dance -- With a Da Vinci in Hand??? I think that chick might have been a bit confused. Either she thought the Da Vinci was a glow stick that you sucked on to get lit or instead of using electricity it needs to be shaken to charge. However, those are not questions for a simpleton such as myself to ask. As I, possibly, most likely, would not understand the answer. The real question weighing on my mind about this whole thing is... Why no pants? Does the promos strict dress code call for no pants? What is Karmas stance on pants wearing? For or against? Cause I see a bias here. Pants haters! -- Okay, so that might be premature.. We'll see Karma, your move!

I filled the can.

Be careful not to pack the can so tight that airflow is restricted. I shake some kief into the palm of my hand. Loose...all lumps and chunks spread out. To load, I scrape the open mouth of the can along my palm, scooping as I go, not overpacking the can.

Works OK and my palm smells better when I'm done

I just stuck the can in the film container and when it came out it was full. I then just took a bit out. I didn't have any restriction issues.
