my tube works the best with the cloud. The mini can's do kind of have the cloud in your face but I usually hit it from the side so that doesn't bother me.

I think there was around 3" of clearance(top of cloud to mouth piece) on my 16", but I haven't had my cloud for a bit so it might be closer to 2"(?) Either way, it's plenty.
As for the cloudbuddy, I'm sure it would be stable with it on the inside joint with the stopper on the outside, nut I'm unsure about the other way around. One thing to remember is your c-buddy will raise the cloud up, so maybe 18" would be better.
I sold my can when I got my cloud, it was too restricted for me.
Also, NVS seemed to have better pricing and more variety than most retailers.

Not a trade-out I would do. But, eh... hope it works out best for you. Your friend scored.

Wouldn't trade the smaller can for anything, suits my needs better, and I did have a love affair with lev's piece. I only like having one piece at a time hence my classified sell out. I'm a bit of a minimalistic, and I get to visit my friend anytime I want and milk up the bigger tube! For my purposes that frit is so frothy it's incredible with rezblock. Cheers!

The DG shit is dope - you've seen my set up with the mini can and my cloud in the cloud thread. It does make you lean a bit but that shit doesn't bother me. I like it with my solo as well, it has so little drag that I could kill a solo bowl filled to the rim with headie in about 3 or 4 pulls. It's truly an insane little piece.

ive thought about that one, i can get a fat discount from a kulture homie but itd STILL be a pricey purchase, i just like how its a can, and a tube in one.

grrrr..... yea, even at 4 bills it'd hurt, but i'd prolly have to pull the trigger, if i was in such lucky circumstances :)
but really tho, i'd have to sell my current DG glow in the dark and my SYN showerhead to justify it.

justify your investment after dropping it(not trying to sound like a dick), i really just hate putting that much money into a piece. esp knowing itd have the same funtion of a 18" tube i paid 250 for a few months ago... that piece is just pure ascetics when it comes to that price.

Is there any connection between DG and Kulture? I've been out to a few of their stores last time I was in VA and I never knew they had an online shop or were so well-known. Cool to see their name popping up so much around here.

no, Kulture sets out to buy small orders from artists they like, some artists have deals setup that they make constant orders, some only get one, just depends.

I'm really curious about this piece because people over at NVS are telling me David Goldstein has never made a 75mm Fritted Disk and that the listing on Kulture is wrong. When I called Kulture about it they said it is most definitely legit.

Its my understanding both NVS and Kulture are both legit places, so which is the truth? I haven't been able to read about a 75mm Fritted Disk on DG's website, or see any other site other than Kulture that carries it. Thoughts?

It's probably a 2.5 inch fritt across and they are measuring the outside circumference around the glass and come up with 3 inches

This is sort of what I was thinking. Now I'm sad. I Don't think it is necessarily fair to list an item like that.

Just watched this vid for the first time really, then tried searching the thread for comments on the "splash-guard"?? that gets put into the DG piece at about the 40second mark, but couldn't find any, nor could I find pics online...only thing ClOsE is on DG's site of a removable mouthpiece looking like a 14mm connection, not the bigger(24mmPossibly) that is shown in video...

    Edit: Any thoughts?

only one way to find out.... cop that 75mm and find out :) im pretty sure i read somewhere on the DG site he posted some small thing about doing a few larger tubes. Larger as being wider and not taller, i know he is not a fan of the huge stacks, as he believes where the real magic happens is at the base of the disc where the smallest bubbles are formed, so id imagine he'd like to make wider discs, as they have more surface area for that action to happen.

    Thanks for the reply.

I posted my question to the FAQ on Goldstein's site. He said the discs are 65mm and the tubing is 75x5. Mystery solved.

I believe DG himself said that that was a recycler that he made only one or so of.

Has anyone seen or know of or have a bubbler that would be max height of 8.5 inches? Ive seen them as small as 9, but I would like it to fit,in my pelican 1200 case. The interior max width is 8.5 with just shy of 1/2 padding either side... 9 might fix, but its a close enough call to nixx having a DG as my travel rig...

So, whip out that tape measure and hit me with some links if one exsists I would like it to be mine. :p
