Size of the new caged plates is 5x7? Would need all measures of this unit in advance so far as possible for construction of the press frame, please!
Would be great to get optimal suitable pre-press molds and filters (also ss if possible) at the same time.

Looks even better than before, my better half is going to town today so should be able to order one this evening. The link to the hand pump with gauge for the u.k customers is one I've enquired about with the seller to confirm the fittings, so it should fit perfectly with the .DPhr1035v

The first pump listed by Roger is not in Amsterdam! I do understand the confusion seeing it is priced in AMD.

I have no idea which currency that is ..

Will probably pull the trigger on the ss model before end of the month. The extra discount is a nice little push in the back ...

My original caged plates are still going strong after many months of intens use.... Just saying the quality is in point!

Edit: @dabpress.com tried putting the ss 10t in my cart and simply says out of stock ...so if there are units available you should look into that because you might be missing out on sales....

That sucks, if you ordered today you might still be able to get the discount. It is available on the site. I followed your threads of 420, nice setup you made. This is my first foray into squishing so hopefully the learning curve will not be to difficult. lol I might need to ask a few questions

Happy to help. I've been squishing about a year on a press, longer on a vice. I've managed a few THCA isolates, live freeze dried rosin, and live fresh frozen bubble hash rosin. I've experimented a LOT with heat, puck sizes, pressure, duration and RH of the buds. Whilst I don't think you ever stop learning I have got it pretty nailed!

Thanks man - will do. Will certainly be posting up my efforts on here, and have plenty to try out! I'll be attempting paperless with bubble and flower. Then driptech with PTFE, teflon and parchment and comparing. Videos also of course

Like I say - I have a good year of intensive experimentation with my 6 ton to compare it to. Have had 26% yields with that on my dedicated rosin cut (Devil Cookies).

It depends!! If I want quality or yield and what I'm pressing, how thick it is, what RH it was, the strain, the pressure and the duration. Its not really possible to say x is the best temperature, despite many sites doing just that. As a VERY general rule I press at 90c (194f) as a starting point for anything I've not pressed before and see how it goes. Max is 105, min 80. Unless I'm doing a THCA isolate of course

Not sure I'd call myself a pressing whizz!
