I don't know what that means, but guess I'll try it :) Will any of the pieces they show allow me to interface with the DBV? And if not, which one of these adapters do I need?

http://dabuddhavaporizer.com/index.php/dabuddhavaporizer/custom-glass/adapters.html?p=1

I see 14 and 19mm adapters, but not 18. Sorry for the dumb questions... I don't know anything about bubblers. lol

Your confusion is well founded. The actual size is between 18mm and 19mm. 14mm is the smaller option. You want 18/19 mm for that bubbler. I dont think youll be disappointed.

When you guys clean with iso, don't you keep the resin build up?

Mine needs a good clean but there is resin which would get wasted.

Just wondering if you guys keep that?

are you talking about buildup in the wand?

Yes, I have a build up in the wand, which I try and scrape out but you can never get rid of it.

Then the tube has pollen and resin eventually built up. I have used it allot and not cleaned it yet

Yeah just evaporate all of the iso out of it before using the reclaim hash you get out of it. You can even put the solution through a coffee (or other) filter to make reclaim hash oil for dabbing if that's your thing but it won't taste as good or be as potent as hash oil from fresh buds.

Probably an obvious question but how do you evaporate it, and how do you know the iso has gone

That is what has stopped me.

I have 99% iso

Thanks

Fill, swish and drain onto pie plate or dinner plate with a low section. Wait 4 hours (or a day, whatever floats your boat) Scrape up residue with razor.

TeeJay1952,
I just put the wand in empty and warm the fucker up! Lol then in use the pick that came with to scrape it out. I can usually get almost all of it! IMHO I didn't use ISO becsuse there was always a lot of plant matter in it and it would make the reclaim suck and taste funny IMHO.

seems like forever since I used my Buddha :o the one who introduced me to the infamous vaporbong, remember after I finally realized one day that my tube fit snugly inside, it was just the new standard, could never go back to the whip. I never understand when people say they lose noticeable flavor, at least that is what I read on here a few times.

Remember when I got it with an unknown glass knob upgrade, best unboxing ever haha

I think it might be time for a tolerance break for me..

Came home after work this evening, turned da Buddha up full blast to warm up. Come back to hit the whip, my mind is occupied with something else, I hit the bowl with the element on full blast, didn't realize I was smoking until a few seconds in to the draw. I used my Buddha to get what was equivalent to 10x the most intense bong rip of my life. :o

Needless to say, now the whip stinks like an acrylic bong, and the screen has been discolored by ash/residue. Will a few sessions clear out the combustion smell? Should I get new tubing?

Since i combusted when I started my session, I continued to use da Buddha last night. This morning I checked the whip and the smell is better- still has that nasty acrylic bong odor. Thanks guys, I was worried the smell would take over the qualities of my whip and I'd be stuck with that nasty smell.
Taking a large volume of smoke from da Buddha was enough to gag me though, this vaporizer is a real heavy hitter.

Hey guys I go a pesky seed in my heating element. Is the heating element easy to disassemble? It looks like if I unscrew those three screws I could take the glass piece off and just clean out what I need. Would that work?

Glass piece pulls right off, just be careful

Screws hold the metal retainer in place, glass sits nice and snug in there (being restrained)

Just be careful and all is good

Yeah man, let that vape cool off too! I think that the 7th floor heating element on max gets as hot, if not hotter, than a lighter? Don't know, but I combusted the hell out of my bud the other night faster than you can think
