Hi my friends, I'm looking for some help to fix my 16mm coil which short every time I try to power it and fry the fuse. Is it an issue I can fix myself or is it the sign of a dead coil?
I'm thinking I can try to check if the spires are not the cause of the short. Since I enlarged them to fit an Elev8r and tighten them after to fit back my nail... and the coil doesn't work anymore since...
Another question, I got my controller which was supposed to be a 110v one but I'm not so sure about that... here the reasons of my doubt:
- I use both a 110v 16mm coil and a 240v 20mm coil with success...?
- the fuse in the controller is a 240v
Since 4 years I use it with a step down converter but I'm thinking it's maybe useless although I don't want to fry it even if, probably, the fuse will protect it.
Just to mention my controller is one I got from G9 (GreenLightVapes), the small one and it was supposed to be a 110v (manufacturer's claims).
