Here is the dimple inside the new 20mm bucket which is the same as my old 30mm bucket.

Wow, I'm sorry to see this. That 30mm looks awful around the hole and would be extremely visible while in use. The nipple issue is disturbing too. Hopefully customer service gets back to you soon even though he's apparently away until the 14th.

Wow, did they fuck up machining that threaded hole in the bucket.

I have read all of the posts wrt to 'bundles' and feel fairly confident that others are right....this was a clearance of sub-quality parts.

Great price but a shame about the lack of transparency.

Where I get one of these weirdeer titty caps please.

Attempting a little dremel tomorrow on the dimple in bucket on 30mm. It’s tiny but there and I’m sure heat would be more even once teetering is taking care of.

any cheaper carb caps out there? Thinking about the hurricane oem ti cap on ccs.

    Yeah that dimple is massive

I tried using my own nipple as a carb cap and I really liked it.

On my Ligers and on others I've seen pics of before, a small divot is the center is typical. Looks like they tried to correct that problem and made it into a worse one.

Wow, I don't know what's going on with those threaded inlet holes, but they look strait f'd. Almost like someone ruined them before you owned it and they got restocked and sent to you. They just look terible. Do the threads even function okay??
This is one part of the Liger I do not like well even when they are right and not mangled like above. The problem for me has been that they only have one full thread in the bucket after they bevel out so much of the wall. And then if you want the inlet tube to sit flush like they almost always show, there will be very little of that one thread to engage with the tubes threads. And it just wont be able to stay together unless you thread the tube in so that it protrudes into the bucket area, and holds your insert hostage. This is the case with my 30 and 16.

This is some of the WORST craftsmanship I've seen next to the early Zions.

CCA obviously don't machine. High school fuckups can do a better job while failing their shop classes!

And you're completely right about the price. I've been wanting to join the Liger fam for a minute now and the bundle with the Sapphire insert at basically half the cost was what sealed the deal for me. Now this was before I came upon all these recent posts but there was just one left in stock at the time and had to snag it. Would do the same thing today regardless.

It's a shame to hear about all these QC issues and the company's response (or lack thereof) to it. Now are the nibs mostly on the 30mm, 20mm, or both versions on the Liger?

^ @antiburn it was definitely like that on my 16. On my 20 though I found I can actually tighten my locking nut very well in the position that I want it, not holding my insert hostage.

What's interesting to me is that I placed an order for a few items including 20mm Liger and sapphire and obsidian inserts 16 days before CCA announced the 20mm bundle. All items from that order were defective and I returned them all for replacement.

I wonder if CCA didn't try to fill regular orders with the defective items before realizing that everyone was going to want replacements if they were sold at full price. Maybe it was just coincidence, but it feels like they're down to the bottom of their 20mm stock and are trying to unload it one way or another without letting their customers know that they are down to seconds.

Seriously what company in the internet age sells B grade parts without mentioning it? Seems like business suicide.

Can some kind soul just hire Josh and put him out of his misery? The Liger has SO much potential if someone with an understanding of business took over.

I dream of a Newvape machined Liger weekly...:mmmm:

I'm probably just being a little too salty right now but they're running a giveaway on their Instagram right now for 3 bundles. Meanwhile the rest of us who paid for theirs get to sit in the dark until the customer service representative is back from vacation. Hell yeah! :mental:

Fortunately I'm waiting a month+ for my eNail regardless, making going through this hassle a lot less frustrating than it otherwise would be.

@invertedisdead The only place I found out about CCA710's business 'practices' was here. I can't see all too many people willing to sift through hundreds of pages of information to find what they're after though. When I looked I found people saying that their customer service is ass but the product is on point, and I was totally cool with working with that... but now this

Still though, their IG seems untainted by complaints etc. like this thread is. I wonder how many people won't even notice the issues with theirs. I might not have if I hadn't been following along on here.

They can manage the comments on IG.

They can't manage the comments here.

There IS a reason they are not present here these days IMO... (but they read it all and are probably active right now lol)

I sent my email in and will just be waiting.

The 20mm does have a nipple and a dimple. Basically, they created the dimple but left a tiny nipple. This was discovered after using the 20mm when i looked into the sapphire insert and notice a ton of was splashed around the insert and below. With wax below the insert, I can see the nipple touching the insert and as you move the insert aroud with a qtip you can see the wax moving below it pivoting on the nipple.

So yes, my 20mm Liger that i received in my 20mm Bundle has a nipple protruding from the dimple.

As for the threading for the Air intake. It works rock solid only the 20mm. Screws on tight and holds tight. It holds and grips a lot better than my old 30mm liger which the threading is very limited. The 30mm Liger i didnt even try to use. But playing with the air intake and bucket, it screwed on really good but just looks horrible. But its the nipple that is killing these Ligers as that is a performance issue.

I just feel for all the new customers that dont know the nipple is a defect and is receiving a sub par Liger without knowing. Someone needs to buy CCA from Josh and run it right.

Also, i have been using the wierdeer titty cap and Chadbro Terptrunk V2 a lot lately and the Wierdeer cap gives a lot more flavor and taste compared to terptrnk v2. I get more cloud/vape from the terp trunk v2 and 100% seal when capped but the carb hole is too small. I use the weirdeer cap on my first hit and switch to terptrunk to finish the dab off.

When i got mine a few weeks back, Weirdeer said he has clear titty caps in stock and he ships in a week. Was pretty simple to order with paypal. Send him an email. @ wierdeer@gmail.com.

I can picture CCA banging their heads against the wall after realizing that many of their defective bundles ended up with FC forum members who are posting pics and developing theories about shady CCA business practices. :bang:

I think you're right that most people would just assume what they received was correct even if it were scratched or chipped or nippled.

Edit: Just noticed on CCA's IG giveaway they say: "Keep your eyes open for lots of goodies @CCA710 & @Eternal_Quartz are working together on gonna be HUGE!"

Eternal Quartz is really into drop tech so my guess is we're going to see some quartz inserts intended for drop tech...maybe with little handles to remove the inserts between dabs?

you should take that chadbro terp trunk to a local glass blower and have him modify that carb hole to be exactly how you want it.... and with that 100% seal, you'll have yourself the best 30mm carb cap.

Anyone know of any Glass Blowers in the Los Angeles Area? I would def. do it. I also need a incycler joint repaired by a glass blower.

did anyone else notice that in CCA's IG pics of the 30mm with the custom AH shroud, the "upper lip" seems to be upside down?

I didn't notice on IG but I also have mine fitted the way you do. The inner bevel seems designed to fit down into the AH shield.
