    Hi,
what are the strengths of heavy CBD meds, like 2:1 CBD: THC? 8.5% CBD : 4% THC.

Is it a superb pain med?
What else is it good for?

I just had my first experience with this and "holy cow".
My upper legs, on the outside had a bad pain--tossed and turned all night. It feels like maybe "tight as a drum" IT Band??? Constant pain.

Vaped a couple hits of this 2:1 and within 10 minutes, the pain was totally gone :)

For those experienced with strains like this, what do you vape them for/ what are its strengths?
    Thanks

I have some Harlequin I use for pain. I never had it lab tested but just the high tells me its high CBD, very relaxing.

Last year I grew a strain called Remedy. It is very light mild and relaxing, not really intoxicating at all, but absolutely dissolves pain within minutes. Leafly lists it as an indica 15/1 CBD/THC. I have no idea what mine would test at, but it is the best I have had for arthritic and neurological type pain.

    2 : 1 CBD/ THC 8.5% : 4% versus a heavy Indica??

So this 2:1 really knocked out my leg and shoulder pain, dare I say better than my go-to pain med of Blue Dream ????
Also feel pretty relaxed, just chillin on the computer and passed on driving over to work out today.

What's a heavy Indica going to be like versus this? Say Raspberry Kush?
Never had any Indica or Indica dominant hybrid yet as was worried bout couchlock.
Is that Kush going to make me even more relaxed??
    Looking for what to expect

I like the kush effects but they are not as civilized as the high CBD strains. Keep experimenting. I've had Harlequin and Cannatonic but there are many others out there now, or so I have heard. I suppose I could go down to a dispensary and see whats up but what I really want to do is get some CBD oil and try that orally. Relief from pain and anxiety is my goal. I can't do sativas any more at all.

I love my sativas in small doses during the day. They are great for energy. Sometimes I add a CBD strain to the mix for random aches and pains.

But for serious pain I always go for a high CBD strain if I need to function. If I just want to knock myself out for the night, a hard hitting Indica like Violator Kush or Grand Hindu does the trick every time.

Preference for my CHS is to buy high thc% strains varieties and high Cbd% strains separately.
This way so many different options are available to select preferences as needed.
High Thc to Cbd....High Cbd to Thc....any %ratios you can apply depending on availability
    Note....CBN= CouchB4Night
Prefer to use percentages over number ratios..better info....

I have had Cannatonic and Charlotte's Web which are two of the most common strains (C.Web probably the most common of all strains). I prefer the Mango Kush 2:1 myself because it provides me with enough pain relief and body high that I feel good from all angles. The nice part is that it does not give me that brain mush feel, so I don't mind super micro-dosing during the day while working.

    To answer your question:
    -Headaches
    -Any body pain
-Brings you down a notch (calming)

I'd recommend Cannatonic or C.Web to someone who just wants to dull the pain as they will provide extremely little in the way of body or head high.
