Can I eat the resin from my MFLB?

The other night, I vaped a couple of trenches of kief in my MFLB. Now when I heat the MFLB, I'm able to scrape a ton of gooey (a little bit thicker than maple syrup) resin. Can I just eat this stuff straight? I imagine that it has already been "decarbed" and it should work via ingestion. In the old days, I would have just gotten a couple of heated butter knives and smoked it like hash. But, FUCK combustion! So, is this stuff safe to eat? Will eating it do the job?

    P.S.- I already ate some.

i thought "hot knives" were essentially ghetto vaporizers?
i've never used them, so maybe i'm missing something.
but isn't it simply a conduction vaporizer...for the most part?

sorry..off topic, but curious none the less.

What started as a question thread turned into an information thread completely on its own. This forum gets better all the time. :D

    Evo-lution...lol

To the op, where are you getting this resin? The draw hole? Stem?

I only ask, because scraping inside the box, through the hole, can be dangerous to the box iirc.

Thanks for the heads up Purpl3_Haz3. I figured I might screw up the trench if I dug too deep. I just got it from the draw hole. I don't ever use the stem. Anyway, it worked. Made my mouth fairly numb and kicked in about an hour later. I don't know the exact amount, but it didn't take too much. Of course I had also vaped two trenches of a lower end AK, but most of the buzz felt like an "eating buzz". Was strong for another hour and a half without anymore vaping. It is still there in the background now, so it is time for a little more vaping.

I love how you ask the question then at the end add you already did it.

I thought you were not suppose to vape keif in the MFLB like that. Mine came with something that said not to smoke concentrates or resin, something along those lines out of it?

vaporizing is obviuosly releasing the vapor below the point of combustion

with hot knives and Ti skillets and nails and stuff people call it vaping but itreally is combusting

you heat the knives/nail/pad up till its red, then drop the oil on it

it produces thick smoke not vapor

haha awesome thread man, P.S i already ate some... 2 h later a 2nd reply it works! right on man thats some funny stuff though! glad it worked for ya. i have some firecrackers in the fridge waiting to be cooked and eaten today.

i totally agree. it is or would be very hard to heat the knife up enough to make it vape, yet not hot enough to combust it. would need a way to measure the heat of the blade and wait till it cooled down into the right zone.

Yeah eating the residue def works its activated! I just throw it in with my AVB then mix with peanut butter or alcohol. Might try an oil or salve extract here soon that I can take on vacation :ninja:

So the Magic Flight produces some makeshift edibles eh? I've hot knifed it back in the day and to be honest it works quite well, but it is indeed very ghetto to be standing over a coil style stove with a two liter cut to make a funnel. Good to know I can simply munch the resin, thanks for the heads up!

What tool are you guys using to scrape the resin from the draw hole with? Thin wire, toothpick?

    thanks
