Colgate bought out Purple Days???

This thread is about toothpaste not vaporizers.

I stopped using Tom's a while back due to the fact that they were bought out by Colgate, it really upset me because I loved their products.

Colgate may have bought them out but the product didn't change. And no jobs were lost. At least not according to this article, http://www.boston.com/business/articles/2006/03/22/colgate_will_buy_toms_of_maine/. And, as the article points out, it seems this was more of Tom's seeking out Colgate than the other way around.
