I just spoke to them as well and explained a little bit about the site. I was told that the unit was shipping now. They seemed interested enough, hopefully we can get add another manufacturer to the forum.

Maybe I can clear things up. I ordered mine on Tuesday, and if things go my way I should have it by this weekend. I'll be sure to let you guys know what I think after my first session, but until then I'll be impatiently waiting. I'm not sure who told you they weren't shipping, but I'm glad they were wrong.

O ya, they got confused with what I was talking about; The guy on the phone thought I was talking about the Atmos Thermo ( Atmos with oil tank system ;) ) which isn't out yet. But I was surprised to found out this thing can last about 56 HITS!!!:o Looks like this thing K.O. the Thermovape in terms of battery life and even heating. And can't wait to see your review :)

I have done much research on these type of devices. some may have seen my posts in the TV thread about the TV' piddly ass 3 month warranty on the heater core part of the vape.

I visited the atmos raw site and was a bit confused on their warranty, in case u have not guessed a good warranty on products in this high price range should have a strong warranty.

TV, lifetime for the body parts that do nothing. 3 months on the heater core. very said in my eye's. Period.

so my curiosity got the best of me and I actually phoned atmos raw and a spoke to a very nice and informative gentleman, thank for being cool man :peace:;)

this is what shocked me after seeing only 3 month warranty on the TV heater core.

this Atmos RAW carries a FULL 3 years warranty , I say FULL cause the warranty covers EVERY part of the unit, INCLUDING THE heating chamber. my ears perked right up hearing that :)

lets see, the Atmos RAW retails for roughly 190 $ the Thermo vape retails at roughly 250 . the atmos raw has a 3 year REAL FULL warrantythat covers EVERY part, the thermovape 3 little months a difference of 2 years and nine months that is HUGE difference, when considering your potential costs of using either product over a 3 year span. so if your atmos raw heater chamber "core" were to fail in three years its costs you nothing to replace. and with the TV, 3 months, that works out to the potential of having to shell out out 90 dollars every 3 months that comes out to 1 THOUSAND and 80 dollars. mind you this is your potential money outlay over 3 years... nothing or over 1000 dollars.

battery. TV one session , 8-10 hits, AR 72 or more, can last a week. this point is also VERY appealing to me. when I go hiking and camping , I simply take the AR unit and the battery should last the WHOLE week trip on a single charge again HUGE difference. and god forbid you want to share with your buddies in a small group, you'll need your 2 spare sets of batteries for sure , jsut for the first day out in the woods, then ur fukd for using the TV.

the AR also has both wall change and usb change capabilities.

I should correct the hold 2 secs' runs for 9.... as per the atmos rep, the unit is ready in like 2 seconds and u hold the button down that is built onto the battery section and its a flush switch, to boot through the process of vaping. easy peazy ;)

u all can call me crazy or old school whatever I care not, 3 years is a respectable warranty on a product of this retail cost, 3 months is NOT!

    Stone__Man;

For someone with only 3 posts, it seems like all 3 of your posts are simply long rants about the TV and their warranty. Do you have an ulterior motive here or something?

So far I have yet to see an actual picture of an AtmosRaw in action, I'll hold my judgement until after the reports roll in.

I know you are new to vaporizing, and I urge you to stick with it. On the topics of Warranty though, let me just say this. My main vaporizer (VHW), and keep in mind I am a medical daily user, only came with a 90 warranty on its "heater core" ... and it has kept up with me every day, for over a year. It was well north of $200 - and if I used your method to determine if it was a good vaporizer, I would have missed out on what turned out to be the best vaporizer for me.

So stick around, watch the posts and see what comes in review wise; I don't see what good these long rants about the TV are accomplishing ...

The thermovape heater core warranty is not that bad in my opinion. Especially considering the fact that the omicron cartridges have no warranty at all. The heater core and cartridges are disposable. They arent meant to last forever.

I would rather have a product that i know was manufactured by a few honest guys here is the US than a product that was pumped out of china. Im not bashing omicron or atmosraw but i feel your arguement about warranty time is petty and does not require paragraphs among pargraphs of nonsense.

Think about it. If atmos can afford to replace any part of the vape that means its probably cheap and easy to make.

You get what you pay for.

Hey guys, new to the site, did all the research i could once i found out about the AR but decided to take a leap of faith and ordered it today. I live 30 min from the company so i asked if i could just buy it at the store but they are only selling them online at this time. Right now i use an Iolite vape so im hoping the AR will be way better and more convenient since it doesn't use butane and doesn't make noise. I will write a review on Monday if no one has by then

So when will we see some good usage videos for the Atmos-raw? and when can we see some actual pictures of the unit or hear more about the materials in the airpath? You sure seem to have the inside track here so i figured i'd just ask......

Stone Man, When you talked to the Atmos Raw rep about the warranty by phone, did you ask him about this specific line found in the Atmos Raw manual "The AtmosRaw device is not intended to administer medicinal or illegal products of any kind and doing so voids the warranty"?

Excellent points. I think it's fair to say that most guys are looking for something with some sort of record at doing what they're designed to do. Pictures on the web with 3 year warranties not withstanding.

Perhaps it's just a difference in opinion about TV having a reasonable policy, but the strawmen on the 'other side' seem to be a bit weak and hollow. There are in fact other well respected vapes with the same or lesser warranty to cover them in key areas.

And let's remember, despite the inferences of bad faith on the part of TV, they report not a single failure in the Beta testing. FWIW, I tend to trust Nick and Noah at TV. I've met them and they both pass for stand up guys in my book. If they knew the heat core was a time bomb they'd address it, not cover it up IMO.

I think the OP would be well served by getting this new product instead. I suspect he'll be more satisfied with it and he can draw satisfaction from all us fools not taking his advice?

    1. no hidden agenda here, I am like I said someone new to vaping , but also someone who wants to insure when i lay out bucks in the 200 range for ANY product , I absorb all I can to make what I consider an informed decision. I have NO vested interest or connection to anyone related to any products. period.

    2. point taken on your experience with a past purchase with short warranty. some things may last, some may not. and yes some 90 day warrantied items are just fine, in my eyes still does not make it right. But, as a "consumer" in our day and age i have to look at how long something is guaranteed to work with out your having to pay "upkeep" potentially after only 90 days when similar products have much better guarantee's to YOU the CONSUMER.
    ==============================
bottom line is plain and simple, any company no matter what they sell be it, bongs, baby beds, butcher blocks, Televisons, turntables or tuners.

    * if their warranty is 90 days , that warranty is in place for the company selling the product. Period, cut and dry it is NOT for the consumer in any way shape or form, but it is instead only about protecting their bottom line profits of a fiscal year.

    * if their warranty is more than 90 days, most often u see following 90 day warranty 1 yr , 2 yr, 3 yr, etc. etc.... there is a LOT more that can be read "into" it. a long warranty is given for what reasons? the number ONE reason in my eye's is for the customers to feel assured they wont have to spend any more money for said product for as long as that warranty states. customer assurance is built with good warranty. long warranty is for the consumer first and foremost, but its also for the company that is in it for the long haul, very loyal followings are built around products with great warranty, zippo and craftsman come to mind. the company that offers longer warranty understand there will be claims filed under said warranty, so fiscal earnings wont be as great for them as as is for the 90 day warranty product as they have no claims after 90 days. and usually its determined that said products potential of failure rises sharply after 90 days.
    ===============================
That is how I see it, so again , no stupid fanboy agenda here mate, just a man of meager means trying to get the most for his purchasing dollars. so the reference to all the different products was for a clear reason, don't focus my feelings about thermovapes 90 day warranty as against the product, but the business means of it all. its about US as CONSUMERS gettting MORE for our dollars not less, regardless what you buying.

I feel the way the folks at TV have gone about things from a consumer standpoint is not good at all, remember zippo and craftsman and the loyalty, THAT loyalty was and still is built on their rock solid lifetime guarantee. but they (TV) have product out the box pushed as rock solid and will last forever, why look how many times we dropped it, dunked in in water after it had been in fire, we run it over with one tire on a flat surface, and my dog can fetch it. all this is done why ? I'll tell you why to build consumer confidence, and trust u me they are smart fellows a doctor and an engineer, and it worked to a tee for them, most everyone here gobbled it up, and lets not forget the "were tearing apart the competition" vid"which says what to you?" that built confidence too, and ALL American made, solid product. why am I talking about this u may wonder, all their initial efforts built interest and confidence in their new product ... Damn, I gotta have one that thing is cool and hits good and u can burn it, u can .....etc. only 90 day warranty you say? who cares right? its cool and everybody else is getting one.

I feel how I feel about warranties and feel my views are founded on facts as best "me wee mind" can understand things. :uhoh::ninja::brow: and why I it has bothered me so, is I came into right into my vape research after reading so much good stuff about the magic flight launch box (which the search for info is what initally led me to the FC forum) with its life time warranty, seen the TV via g00gle, seen the thread here for it and started seeing all the info I could about it, and one of the first info bits I get are their own vids , then the one other vid on utube at the time of, the fellow unboxing and using it. now after viewing their own vids only,
what did/ do any of u think the warranty would be for such a rock solid take the abuse and still work product? I (again MFLB was vape interesting me LIFETIME warranty) I was sorely disappointed to find that its warranty is effectively only 90 days, I honestly thought after seeing all the vids and getting excited it TOO would have a lifetime warranty. what a bummer, then i rewatched the vids and took into consideration how I would market a brand new to market product. and have been astounded that two highly educated "business men" with such a professional website and professional photos of product would , lets just say take the approach they did to push their product. hey man did u see the fire video, what vape is that? think thank thunk

and with that I wont be discussing my feelings about the the TV's 90 day warranty with anyone else on this forum, I have said my piece. and I hope some have taken in at least a bit of what I have said. WE as consumers can not effect change sitting on our hands, every product costing more that a Benjamin, in this day and age of folks with less available spending cash, should be covered by a consumer friendly warranty.90 days is not. if any feel the need for further discussion of this topic with me I ask that you do it via PM , as I wont address this openly, in this thread or the TV thread. I have given my views and reasoning as best I can and I don't bring up these points to have pissing contests with fanboys to get their jollies. but for consumers to THINK. warranty DOES matter.

so back to 1., I suppose I'm a liar after all, my "hidden agenda" in all this TV warranty stuff, is to hope some folks can see past the smoke and mirrors as consumers of what I consider high dollar products in a niche market, and be more mindful of the potential costs of the items they purchase over the life of the product, after the honeymoon is over, if I may be so bold.

if you have a solid , tough as nails, 100% American made product you are apparently quite proud of from all your video's, then back your product with a Good CONSUMER friendly warranty. take a look right here at the Atmos RAW's warranty. and based on warranty alone, there is NO ONE on this EARTH, if given a choice from the product maker, between a 3 year warranty or a 90 day warranty that would only choose 90 days, NO ONE! Now who is really MORE proud of their product and stand behind it, in this situation?

and "VS the competition" the Atmos RAW is the Thermopape's competiiton, both new products with their respective "new" tech in their products. along with the stealthvape, another recent entry.

oh and it appears from info over at gotvape.com something that may be of interest
pulled this info from Your link text should make this button pressing and time more clear.
maybe so temps can't get to high to combustion point? maybe so the heater or battery don't get to hot?

I very much look forward to reading posts from those that have made the purchase of the Atmos RAW and their findings and thoughts on the product in use.

this is most interesting to me a vape noob trying to decide who will get my money. 2 products both new to market. I can't wait to see all the posting of BOTH products come in.

    Stone__Man out :peace:

Edit to address others directing to me:
you are clearly not reading what I write, I have NO vapes period, yet u come off like I have the AR and love it dearly, dude, read and understand I am just a guy with no connnections to anyone looking to buy MY FIRST ever vape. videos yada yada, like I would know? ask the folks that have bought one, your just wanting to pick at me as I have a differing (and apparently unpopular) view about how to go about doing business and warranty length. it has to stem from the fact u have purchased the TV and Lord knows how folks LOVE to defend their purchase's , be they wise or foolhardy purchases. u see it every day with ANY kind of product. I have the "inside track" really ? really? lol dude u are too funny. I said, nor made, no such inference anywhere to having any particular knowledge. unless if u mean my saying I talked to them on the phone, well buddy there were 3 other folks I belive, before me that said they spoke to them as well. no inside track posts to them? I guess u rubbed a crystal ball that told you it was me out of the folks that talked with them have an inside line. pifff unreal dude

its quite easy and convenient to start taking shots at the guy who says things u don't like in a forum atmosphere, since u helped get the ball rolling I'm sure "the gang" will follow, I care not, I'm not a child but a grown man. if u or anyone else for that matter, wants to throw shit my way, why don't u do it via pm, one on one I'd be more that happy to tell you my feelings and thoughts, ... oh wait, what is the fun in such picking without "buds" to see the comments and join in.

and as far as the Woody question, about asking rep about disclaimers. no I did not, do you call reps and ask such things? if u do go for it dude , call atmos , call thermovape and tell us all what they say say to you, matter of fact call ANY maker of ANY product that is used for "illegal" stuff and they will tell you "one thing" but their necessary legal disclaimers I'm fairly confident "will tell u another thing"

matter of fact so everyone can know, the reason I called them was due to the fact that I seen references to 30 days, 1 year and 3 years on the warranty page, rather confusing to me so I called and asked about it. "and to the best of my understand of what I was told is, and lord knows I could be wrong" that the AR comes with a 3 year warranty, any failing part would be replaced within the 3 year warranty period, the customer is asked to pay 20$ for S+H and AFTER the 3 year warranty parts will be replaced at their individual cost's. and to be honest I was rather surprised when I was informed ALL parts are covered for 3 years. and another truth, the MFLB, the Thermovape and the AtmosRAW at this point are tops on my list to get my money. one lifetime, one 3 years, one 3 months, and it should be as no surprise , being my postings center around warranty, the MFLB is still on top , has a PROVEN track record, 2nd the AR and 3rd the TV, solely based on warranty. and again another truth if the TV had a better warranty it would be pushing up to top my list of where I am going to spend my vaping dollars, I have no intention to have 10 different vaps, money simply does not allow that. I am not Evil just a regular old Joe with limited funds " like lots of people now days" fuk if I were more wealthy I would not have said a thing about the TV warranty and just bought All the candidates , kept what I wanted and sold the rest. I dont' think folks that have money look at things as in depth as those that have less.

lets not try to make this about ME per say but more about this ISSUE'S about the products that people have. I'm damn sure not here to be anybodys whipping boy, any snide remarks directed toward me will simply NOT be addressed by me in open forum.

so let the impressions on the AR roll boys and lets hope u don't intend on doing anything "illegal " with it lol , that still makes me chuckle man lol

so would someone WITH AN INSIDE LINE ... PAAAAAA-LEzzzzzE share product info! lets see the youtube stars come out :) , golly what a resource YT is for damn near anything u want to see and learn about. God bless the interwebs :)

Duped in more than one way. If you go to the AtmosRaw website, and click on the "Warranty Policy" link, you'll see that their warranty is only 30 days!

The "3 year warranty" that Stone_Man is trumpeting is actually a discount replacement program that applies only to the heater core and lithium battery (in one place they say "1 year replacement" and in another they say "3-year replacement, so who knows what it really is.) They charge you $20 for either the heater core or the lithium battery. On the AtmosRaw website, those parts cost $70 and $55 respectively, so it's a decent discount, but that's all it is.

Other parts are not covered beyond 30 days. To be eligible for the discount on the two parts that are covered under the replacement program, you have to register your warranty with 7 days. And you have to keep your receipt. And in the event you have a claim, you have to allow 1 to 2 weeks for processing. When you toss in the exclusion in the manual about vaping illegal substances voiding your warranty, what are the odds that this company will honor warranty claims without making life difficult?

Compare all those outs the AtmosRaw people are giving themselves to the straight-up way that ThermoVape has dealt with us on this forum, and there's no question whose warranty is better.

@sessnet I'm sorry I don't follow how have I been duped? and by whom? :uhoh::uhoh:

u mention Persei not familiar with that being a, gee what on earth is the right term :| um a vape for DRY ground "medicine", it is for dry too this persei?

I see lots of mention of "cartridges" not at all sure what means . lol noob

and to be clear I have ZERO interest, in any products for concentrates and the like. I'm not so fortunate to live in such a "plentiful" area on the globe to have such choices afforded to me :/:(

so its only products that are made to do what I desire my vape purchase to do.

someone asked somewhere why I did not care about this or that detail about the um.... oh crap what s the name . omicrom? perhaps :ko: maybe I misunderstand the omicroms intended use, I thought it was just for the "non dry" materials? again n00blet to vapes here, knee deep in a TON of unknown acronyms here on FC...

and maybe some noob friendly veteran of portable vaping can lead me to best choices of a portable vape, that can be used inside and out , with quick warmup time, and a size and shape that is easily hidden. and something that can last for camping trips without worry of recharging batteries, (anywhere from overnite to a week long trip) and do note, no cars around, just nature :) I would LOVE a PM of thoughts , opinions on best options. like I say the MFLB the AtmosRAW and the ThermoVape are the three on my radar at this point. It has been tough to this point as most everyone "sticks" to defending the product they have spent their money on, its the folks that "have it all" and have spent time with the different products , their views are most valuable.

and I almost forgot to mention, units that best stretch the purchase interval of "medicine". I've not read Jack about what vapes actually fully utilize what is in the medicine bowl to make it last. most talk for whatever reason seems to be about "clouds" and "milk" not how well the vape conserves YOUR product :) so I will add one more thing, I don't give a rat's ass how big the vapor clouds are that this or that vape can produce, I care about the vape product producing the desired feeling in me, that's it, lol clouds be damned, wtH is stealthy about a big ol vapor cloud? that must be some sorta connection to combustion days , wanting big clouds to SEE it all.

ok off to read about this omicrom and persei i hope they are for dry not wet "stuff"

    laterz aligatorz :peace:

Edit for the recent marduke post. first of all I don't think you read my post about calling them and why.

I could have misunderstood to be sure , but what I gathered from the phone call was the website has not been updated including the warranty page (and do bear in mind its been for sale less than a week I believe, I have seen many a business start up and websites and stores is stuff there is a lot of doing and resorting to be done with all that jive.) the way I recall it was everything is covered for 3 years. and hey guess what? if it IS only the heater chamber and battery covered, it would not be a deal breaker, they other parts are not much money at all, the battery and heater chamber are the high dollar ones as stated 70 and 55, the most expensive part in line is 17 bucks.... now what matters more a good warranty on the two expensive bits or the cheap ones? and to be honest " being that you all have made me wonder if I heard and understood rep correctly" if they warranty the two most expensive parts for 3 years, the two parts most likely to fail why would they not cover the other cheaper parts too? so more questions. rest assured if I was lied to AR will NOT see a penny of my money.

oh and for anybody saying anything is a knock off or the like, I could care less, im not in the patent policing business lol. I'm looking for who can give me a product that I feel has a consumer friendly warranty, and will cost me the least in the LONG RUN ,knockoff smockoff *squirt squirt

I bet u a dollar to a doughnut within a year there will be MANY MANY MANY knock offs as they are called, and the like, of this current tech we are now seeing in newly available units.aren't most all these portable basically heating a wire at its essence? be it via my way, your way and the other way after all? battery/batteries heats wire , heats ceramic, this bowl that bowl and this and that mouthpiece?

Consider this fact if u will , the TV and the AR BOTH are American made and BOTH have their OWN patent pending designs of a "heater" and BOTH released this month.

I wish like hell someone " with the inside track" to coin a phrase, hope u don't mind mate ;) would shed light on these questions we have.

I could be wrong.. this can possibly be a conduction vape, hence the much longer battery life compare to ThermoVape.

notice there is a heating pin simular to the iolite design.

I would wait for more review first, like Stone__Man says "MONEY IS HARD TO COME BY THESE DAYS"

    :) ;) indeed VaporNinja

I don't know why but, how the bowl was described to me by the rep , makes me think of how well pizza bakes in stone ovens lol

as I recall details the bowl is ceramic and also not angled edges, a concave ceramic bowl.

In my mind I picture the bowl ((lol for some reason looking just like a wok lid )) ,screen and the second ceramic "filter" resting on top, making a little OVEN, of sorts, for the wonderful pizza :) ...

oh and I think I recall correctly no holes for little bits of Pizza to fall below.

I'm guessing as it has the 9 sec shutoff, they can keep the temperature inside the Oven within desired temp range, and have consumers a lot less likely to bake their Pizza to the point of combustion. again just a guess as to the why and how of it all. sorta idiot proof lol . also that would HAVE to keep the battery from getting to hot as well.

Now I'm sure this vape works much like an iolite, by radiant heat from the heating pin, the metal bowl reflects the heat, and the spring next to the ceramic filter works as an optimizer for even heating, such as ones for the iolite. I'm still a fan of true convection vape, such as SSV, LSV and DBV. You get the most amazing taste, and you don't lose any goods in between hits. The Thermovape is true convection, but battery life really sucks.
