It just says dual mouthpiece not to speculate but maybe direct draw (like mflb with no stem) with ability to add extensions? Like I said I hate to speculate at this point. It might pop out though? Really excited to see this one.

Quality of first divinci? All I remember is a crap storm in that thread about questionable offgassing.

The crap storm continues on in that thread, but I'm one of the many that had no offgassing. So I put Karma's products in the quality category.

Well they just sent me an offgassing unit a week and a half ago.

Looks pretty sweet. kind of like my old flip cell phone. I just hit an original Da Vinci for the second time ever on monday evening during the Bama Vs ND championship game. First time I ever hit it was a little over a week ago and only took a very tiny light hit, was OK. On Monday evening when I hit it a couple times I experienced the electronic like taste in my hit that others describe as "robot fart". Hopefully this model will have a cleaner taste associated with it...

Any speculation on how much it will cost?

With the glass pathway it should definitely taste different to its predecessor.

I have not seen any price point as of yet. I was wondering that as well.

just called Davinci and asked for the release date, the lady said "let me go check"...(waiting on hold)...lady picks up phone "omg no one picked it up yet!?". Me "no". She goes and tries to find the date, she picks up the phone and says "sometime in spring", I inquire further about the clouds it can make, and she tells me she hasn't seen one yet/ has no more information):

First of all let me start out by saying that I appreciate the comments on the design. We, at Organicix, think that having a vape that fits your specific style is important as well as providing a pure air track and functionality.

Let me elaborate on the features of the Ascent Vaporizer.

Glass on glass- the bowl is glass lined, and the glass straw (not pictured) runs directly from the glass bowl through the unit. I'll get some pictures of this feature up soon.

Dual mouthpiece-The dual mouthpiece allows for 2 options. Option 1: the user can utilize a retractable glass straw, making sharing and cleaning easy. Option 2: offers a more personal discreet experience by allowing the glass straw to remain inside the unit, still offering an all glass vapor path,by vaping directly through the mouth opening.

4 hour battery life- this unit contains 2 rechargeable REMOVABLE lithium ion batteries.

The Ascent has the ability to vaporize both herbs and oils, features digital temperature control and a cool new OLED display.

I'll start to put up some additional pictures and video of how the Ascent works so all will have a better understanding, but know that we are all very excited to launch this product this year.

This sounds really good. I just hope no sticking issues like another vape with the retractable mouth piece. Is this going to be a conduction vape or a combo leaning towards convection?

Will the batteries charge in the unit or outside?
Is the glass user replaceable?

The oven works similar to the Davinci, in a conduction fashion, but with a faster heat up time. During testing we had very good, even results with the new bowl material.
