Iwien, it says a lot about a person's character when they can open up and share publically something as intimate and personal as you did, and you did it selflessly to comfort someone in a time of need. I commend you for your words and I have gained an enormous amount of respect for someone I don't know anything about except for the fact that we share the same hobby. You have instantly changed your status in my book from fellow vaporist to someone I have a great deal of respect for, bravo my friend - bravo. Rick, hang in there - g-d is good, with all the love and prayers sent out from your loyal brethren here on FC, I'm sure all will work out. You created nothing more than a product to deliver medication to people in need of a healthier alternative to combustion. You and your family deserve peace, happiness, and freedom. I for one will keep asking my angels above to keep they're eyes on you and your family. Peace brother.

so the last time I had an uncontrollable laughing fit from weed was when i was watching tv with my son late at night and that ad for travel caths came on. The way they glamorized it with the 20-something cute girl saying she was finally free or whatever really got me going. All i could think about was this sexy thing getting ready to leave and going through her checklist...keys--check, phone--check, cath--check...good to go out and party!

Of course, now thanks to lwien, I get it. But man, they made that ad like everyone should get one, and that really hit this stoner's funny bone! Then I got to explain what a cath was to my teenager.

Thanks. I've had this issue way before I ever joined FC but had no need to share it with anyone until I read Ricks post. Acute urinary retention is NOT something to fuck around with.

Yeah, SS. I saw that commercial too. It's was like, "Hey, look at me. I'm this young and pretty and if I use one, everyone should." But you are right SS. Anytime I go anywhere where I know I'm going to be gone for any more than 3 hours, my cath kit is right at the top of my check list. But I gotta tell ya, anytime I visit the VA hospital, I thank my lucky stars that I am as healthy as I am.

Rick, keep us posted. Whatever PTSD that you have going on could very well be a helluva lot more debilitating than what I have going on, so take care of your head, man. Help is out there if ya need it.

    Hello again from Zapped Zapville.
Here again to report any info I can on our recent(a week ago Wednesday) invasion of the LEOs at our homes and farm.
Not sure if I mentioned but our son Mike got the same treatment at the same time. He and his love were both handcuffed for several hours as they are in their mid-30s so therefore must automatically be more of a threat than us oldies.
Also, we are finding more stuff missing every day. They did not list documents taken but rather "documents from computer room" or "documents on bar", etc. We got ready for another Howling Hills Farm delivery this week and found they even took our farm checkbook! All recent bills were also taken. Good thing I pay bills online.
So the news is no news. Nothing as of yesterday(Friday).
I did have a good Dr visit yesterday and got some meds to deal with some of our issues. Apparently enlarged prostates have a tendency to develop a low grade infection so I am taking an antibiotic for that. We are experiencing something more like Acute Stress Disorder(ASD) because the incident is recent. We should be able to deal with it better once we know what their plans are for punishment of the bad people here at Zapville.

They did leave Vitos bumper sticker "I've been Zapped!" in my computer room, in clear view, as a continuous reminder of their power over us bad people. (Maybe Vito can post a picture?)

This is but one chapter in the story of Aromazap. What is crazy is not knowing the remaining chapters. This is a time when we must ask for help from something greater than us. We alone are too small and insignificant to deal with such a terrifying event.
Thanks again for the support. One day at a time.................

Me as well. I still can't understand how the Police can do what they did just on circunstancial evidence and one person's testimony.. What happened to inocent until proven guilty? This war on drugs is getting out of control, there is no respect whatsoever for peoples lifes and dignity.

    Hang in there Zap Family!

What I don't get is how they initially came for a marijuana farm but then decided to take all the Zap stuff when it turned out they were misinformed. I don't know that much about local laws in the USA but I just don't see how they can legally take all that stuff. Are vaporizers illegal in your state Rick, or were they considered paraphernalia because they found some marijuana in your house perhaps? It just seems so absurd otherwise.

The last ten cores, it's just so sad..

Hang in there guys, & good luck with man problems btw. I'm a bit more scared to get older now :uhoh:

I have missed so much in here, I am truly disturbed to hear of what is going on in Zapville, I can only hope everyone comes out on the other end. I also wasnt ware the shop had closed, this is very depressing as well.

I wish Rick, Pat, and everyone else involved the best of luck, my thoughts are with you all.

Peace and love everybody, later :disgust:

Another repeat. The news is no news. This is surely taking a toll on us, not knowing. The 'case' is still in the 'secret' mode as the warrant has not yet been returned to the court with the list of evidence taken from us. Until that happens, we wait......and wait. We cannot take any legal action until the warrant is made public.

We appreciate thoughts an prayers for us and our family. Wednesdays are especially tough. It will be three weeks this coming Wednesday.

Domestic terror. Aging quicker. Jumpy, cranky, bitchy. Cannot even pick tomatoes as I should..not eating right.......sleep disrupted every day at 6 AM.....always wondering.............just how bad of a guy am I? The rest of the family is experiencing the same in different ways.

I do wish I could pass on some comfort but there just aint none.
Thanks for that nice vid Reese. The Zap lapse is quite a story with the final chapters still to come.

I have discovered that everything is great when I run my zaps at 13.8 volts, but at 14.2 volts I start to get a chronic cough and lung irritation. I had noticed something like this before with other vapes but it's interesting to see the clear cutoff.

Hope all is well at zapville.
