    Vorrange,
I see you retired your Da Vinci, can you say why? I was looking at getting one (or a pax) as a backup.
I also thought that any glass would do well for vaporising and did not think there was a difference.

I initially bought it to replace my mflb which it did in about 99% of the times so i was quite happy with it, but i also wanted to use it at home when i wanted mobility or at vacations when i cant bring a log.

But after a while i noted that there seemed to be a problem with the charging dock that ultimately led me to have to replace it for a new unit, which i actually never did.

During the process, i used it less and there was a time i stopped using it altogether because i was home a lot and left the house already vaped, or should i say ABV'd. :D

During this time i used the WW almost exclusively and when i went back to the DV i noticed the plastic flavour a lot which kind of put me off a bit. That added to the flavour quickly fading compared to my other vaporizers led me to consider the Solo as an option.

If i could, i would problably kept the DV and get a Solo but since i decided to instead of getting a replacement i would replace it for the Solo, that option was not on the table.

I valued the taste over stealth, hence the Solo over DV.

Regarding your backup, i would wait a month, the XP looks promising as the Cera. There is also the Palm 2.0 to consider depending where your preferences lay.

Has anyone made an attachment just for oil? Thatll be cool to have some type of glass stem you put oil into stick it on ur solo and vape. Cotton and bud is ok i want pure oil tho

I've seen people use a glass vial (like the one from the Eclipse (H2O?) products) and a glass eye dropper as a mouthpiece to make an oil unit.

If you're looking for a commercial solution, look into something called the MicroDab, which is similar.

Like vorrange.... im looking to get a solo (not as a replacement) to compliment my MFLB + PA. Like i stated previously, i hit my buddies solo on a few occassions.... but havent noticed that robot-y, platic-y taste or smell. I just noticed the smazing taste of the flowers. I cant wait to order mine!

Finally killed the Solo's battery. Stopped in the middle of a session and the charge light was stuck on along with the 1-corresponding led.

At least, I sure hope that's the low battery signal. :ko:

Hey guys, I'm about to purchase my first vaporizer. I've always done combustion but I'm looking to make the switch. I've done my research (I think?) and have decided that the Arizer Solo is the best match for me. I'm looking for something that will still give me the same strength in effects as combustion and one I do not need to plug in. I saw that the price is $229 on the Arizer website. However, I found someone selling the same product for $150. $79 less than the manufacturer sounds fishy to me. Here is the link, any information, even a recommendation for a different vaporizer is highly appreciated!

Also, here is one for $107 http://www.ebay.com/itm/New-ARIZER-...375?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item25786762cf

How can someone offer such low prices? $107 for a Solo? The manufacturers price is more than double...

Josh, while you can snatch it up for $150 I would suggest looking into Puffitup or PlanetVape they usually sell the solo for $160 and getting it from one of these retailers (especially puffitup, go Randy!) is a big plus if anything happens to go wrong is worth the little bit of extra money.

    Puffitup.com has em for 160.00
Just make sure the person on ebay handles the warranty.
Not sure how Arizer deals with ebay purchases.

^ Thanks for the information! I'm still skeptical about the pricing, considering it's less than half the price than what the manufacturer asks.

Plus a nice free grinder, not a bad deal at all. Got mine from them and would do so again. I wanted the latest model but they had a few silver 107's and ended getting one of those. I contacted Randy and he said he would exchange it for the newer model right away. I decided to keep the 107 since there seemed to be little to no differences, besides the inaccurate battery meter on the newer model. I use it every day and never disappoints.

I'm sure not an expert on this stuff, but it was designed by and for the FC community. Check out some of the GLASS threads as there seem to be several of this sort.

Do you guys prefer the turbo or the regular PVHES stems? I plan on getting a bent and an 18mm, most likely full size for both.
