Whether you were a forward-thinking rebel trying to spread a consciousness or a degenerate was a hotly contested matter of opinion in those days.
We would be good friends!

U could try my KUSH grown by da ocean away from da fire’s!

Can one identify a SOLO's age by serial# ?

mine starts M1T0

thoughts ?

No. Arizer has specifically warned against this. Not only are production runs not 'serial' WRT numbers, but they have repeated some?

This has been discussed several times. You'll notice several cryptic .sigs around here like 'you can't vape serial numbers'.......now you know why.

There are two major changes, 3 if you count the first ceramic lined ones (all replaced?). Early ones had 'true PA' where you could use a special external supply and not the internal battery. And small vents. We 'demanded' they change to 'use while charging' like a cell phone (technically not a good idea which is why Arizer spent the extra money for 'true PA'). Later came the shift to larger vents? So there are really several 'models' out there.

It's worth noting that the original vent sizes were picked with due consideration after testing? By a company that seems to know what they're doing.

I say one and a backup and then a third because if one goes then you're down to two in which case I perceive a issue requiring a third for a backup to the backup.........so my guess is 3.
:tinfoil:
I have a SOLO 6 years old?
Changed the battery pack 2x all ready.
Look’s like number 3 is due?

It takes a long time to reach desired temperature?
@OF U know ?
Maybe I use it more than most?

If you have 2 pairs of running shoes and rotate wearing them alternately instead of wearing one pair out then starting on the new pair, they will last longer. There is some controversy about if this applies to other types of shoe..... The main convenience with having 2 Solos is not having to wait for a charge before vaping; you've always got a hot one.

Interesting idea. No real need to keep them 'pared' as long as you select randomly......

You could also say buy four pairs, throw two right shoes away, and start the rotation. Eventually you'd get very good at running in circles?

Edit: WRT Solos I think not so much. Would buying seven new cars, driving a different one each day of the week mean that you'd have to go over seven times to replace them? That is if you buy a new car every five years, would buying seven and rotating them make them last until 2053?

My grannies cars was thirty years old when she died.
Thing had thirty thousand miles on it and was garage kept.........almost show room condition.
I then put over three hundred thousand more miles on it before it died so I say dependent upon circumstance.

My 2014 Solo is still working like a champ and it's performance is just slightly lower than my 2018 Solo. Sometimes I wonder if they started using lesser batteries in the newer units. Maybe my 2014 Solo is like many of us here....an oldie but a goodie :myday:

So true. His enthusiasm is infectious, clearly sincere. Hard not to consider seriously. We could use more like him, just not all at the same time.......

Kinda scares the women and horses from time to time, but I'm against running him off. Just keep him away from your glass.

I don't think I'll get to retire; old age pension won't be enough to live on so I'll have to keep working until I die, like the horse in Animal Farm. Next year when I'm 65 if I'm unable to stay on where I've worked for the last 36 years I don't know what I'll do; Walmart only needs so many greeters. Since both my parents are dead I consider myself a great candidate for adoption, and could see myself hanging out at the pool with @ataxian as my new dad.

I thought when I retired I would have issues.
I started working full time at 13 and worked seven days a week for decades.
Turns out I have endless things to do and learn and if I don't wanna do shit today then that's good to.
52 4-me?
SOLO was my 1st love when I quit joints!
9 years old paper route and LED Zeplin in a cassette player with headphones! DAZED is a understatement ?
CONFUSED = ALWAYS!

62 years young and my ideal retirement employment would be budtender.

Interesting goal, and commendable for sure.

We differ some. I'd rather aspire to being the Budtender's favorite customer....... Employment should be the other guy's problem?

It's important we have some differences, of course. But interesting at times. The personal key is, IMO, to have a plan before you get there.

FYI (and consideration) there are two important secrets to happy retirement. Given to me in a timely manner by a friend who retired on schedule and had new business cards printed listing his new job as "Leisure Consultant". First you have to leave something to do tomorrow. Secondly, Sunday is the day with the thicker newspaper.

Regards to all.

I pass a sign every day that says “robots can’t take your job if you’re already retired”

I have a few more decades to go......

Ed’s cocobolo wood stem in the solo gets me pain free straight outta bed. Well close to pain free anyways.
