I've always hated Valentine's Day as I think it is just another silly commercial holiday. Valentine's Day cards for babies? and dogs?

You shouldn't have to wait for a specific day out of the year to show someone how much they are worth (seems kinda fake IMO).

....just saw this thread....it's (valentines day) been a rip-off for years...after I was divorced (over 10 years ago) I promised myself that any subsequent relationships would totally be done....my way....meaning...no adherence to days decided by some arbitrary accepted means that has NO bearing on my life experience...thus no acknowledgement of val day, xmas, easter, independence day, etc....just about ALL the holidays....
