Sorry I took so long, Sempervirens, my express package was not so express...

I would not buy the clip, as unfortunately it can not be put on with the aluminum ventilator, it must be taken off which obviously leaves the glass and heater undefended. As of now mine will go unused, but I think it might prove useful as a bowl extension...

There we go, sorry about the quality but it's a phone camera.
As you can see the male GonG joint is a standard internal diameter whether it be a Cloud a LSV or Da Buddha and so forth. So all I need now is some EZ load screens to play with.

I'd like to choose a new vape from 7th Floor. I already have a MFLB for herbs and I'd like to have a home device for better taste and for use it concentrates or hash other than herb.
I'm totally sold after seeing this video.

Are DB or SSV better than this for resins?
My only concern is that Vitolo loves SSV more than his LSV :) Why? :)
    I think I'll buy from here http://www.lacentralevapeur.com/5_7th-floor
Can you advice me on some accessories I have to buy along with the main unit for a greater experience?
(water pipe adapter comes already with the unit for a special offer).
(hope linking is not considered advertising, by the way, this shop is the only one who stocks LSV in Europe. Glad to know if there are others).
    Thanks everyone

I think that is a great place to shop, ;) I think that the LSV is better with water, so i believe you are better with that one than the SSV.

Yes I'm ready with glass equipment. Besides flavour issues, could you vape hash without the glass packing it in the regular wand or it clogs/goes to the heating element? Thanks a lot.

I usually vape hash with a bit of herb to prevent clogging, if you do the same it problably won't be a big issue.

justcametomind...if you are going to be primarily using it with a water piece then I recommend the LSV...it's what it was made for.

As for Vitolo, I believe his fondness for the SSV over the LSV has to so with his physical challenges...correct me if I'm wrong here.

I do have substantial physical challenges, but in the case of my preference for my SSV over my LSV,
it mostly has to do with how solidly that it sits in one place, and stays at temperature, ready to vape at least 19 hours a day.
I lower the temp to a lower spot at midnight, and at 4 A.M. when I get up, I raise it back to noon.
My wand is always at ready, and I can get a huge hit ... without waiting even a second.... all day every day.
I know I can leave my LSV on... at low setting and warmup time is short in this manner....
    It doesnt cut it.
I feel ill... I want a huge hit this very second.....no ---- make that 5 seconds ago!
When the MONSTER rears his hideous head... when out of nowhere he is upon me, his fetid breath singeing the hairs on the back of my cowering head......
That is no time for me to wait 2 minutes.
I dont want to wait 30 seconds.
with my SSV... I do not wait 1 second.
    Fuck you Monster.
    YOU'RE DEAD

    Edit note:
Sorry. I got carried away, and forgot the reason I answer, is straight forward.
Warmup time Vs. no warmup time.
I do have great fun with my LSV.
It is for when I want to medicate.
The SSV is for when there is no time, and unfortunately I do not get to vape just for pleasure sometimes.
I apologize for my rant.. and for the sissy tears I spilled while venting.
    I am better now!

Would anyone happen to know the diameter of the LSV body?

I'm thinking of trying to find some kid sized "livestrong" bracelets to do something similar to what's being discussed in the cloud thread, and I don't have a tape measure handy.

Is the vapor tamer any good? I have already a glass piece but it could be nice for portability (couch portability).

The Fatty Vapor tamer is GREAT!
I do not care for the Saturn.(It is wider, and unwieldy)

Mine seems to vary by a bit, averaging around 1.80 inches, but if I do recall correctly you're an Aussie, so 45-46 millimeters.

they are great, as Vito says, however I found them to be a hassle. while they cool down vapor better than anything else, they have to be refrozen every 20 or so minutes. I also didn't like the freezer room it took up, especially when living with other people. I sold mine a month after buying

I don't like things that cool my vapor. But give me something that will add moisture, like hot water in a bong, and I'm all over that.

So glad I picked up an LSV. Brought it to poker last weekend and everyone was impressed with the build quality and giant rips. It really does a great job at extracting all the available meds once you find a good temperature setting.

One of the best things about this vape is how easy it is to isolate the herb from the heating element after each hit. On my EQ, after packing a bowl I would see tons of vapor pouring out of the whip after a rip. With the LSV, I just pull out the stem or move the LSV away from the WPA if I'm using more glass. This is actually a huge increase in efficiency for guys like me who put the EQ to 260C from the start and hit it until it's dead.

I love my Saturn Vapor Tamer. I prefer it to the wand but then I like cool hits. I put my vapor tamer in a koozie when I pull it out of the freezer and it will stay cold for about 40 minutes. I've been using my vapor tamer exclusively for the past 2 months, since I broke my bong. I would like to get a bubbler where I could incorporate my vapor tamer into the mouthpiece but I can't buy anything right now. In the meantime, I'm thinking about getting a 90 degree Male to Female GonG adapter so I could use the WPA and hit it more like a pipe.

The biggest problem with the vapor tamer is when you forget to put it back in the freezer and the next time you go to get it, the tamer is already sitting next to your LSV and it's at room temperature. A room temperature vapor tamer will take about 30-60 minutes to get cold.

I'm looking for a handheld vaporizer that I just sit on my bed with and watch TV or sports or whatever while blowing the vapor out the window. This leaves me with a portable vape or the LSV (LSV is the only handheld plug-in vape I know of...) since I don't trust myself with a desktop vape on my bed. Is this the best choice for that? Are there any other handheld plug-in vapes that I should be aware of?

I don't, but I could see the need. I would definitely change to a finer screen if using the wand, but I'm sensitive that way.

I used 2 screens for the first time this weekend. I guess I'm actually using 3 screens because I put two screens in the bowl and I keep another screen in the Vapor Tamer mouthpiece. And like stickstones said, if you are filtering with water, you probably don't need 2 screens.
