Blemished Units have an insignificant mark, bump, or discoloration.
The said "blemish" is usually tiny... the size of a match head.
Most often an average person will not notice the flaw.

Ah yes i see so its basically a brand new vape with a small discolouration, dent... I think it will definitely be worth the $40 saved because at the end of the day im not buying it to look at it :p Thanks guys. Oh and I wont be needing the bag with it as ill only be using it at home.

Sometimes the blemished units come with imperfect glass, and while 7th floor will make exchanges I would only order a blemished unit if I was in the states, because exchanges to other countries can get costly.

Does anyone primarily use this as a whip style vaporizer? My buddy was looking into a SSV/DBV, and I told him to maybe check these out, since they're made by 7th floor and look pretty slick. Plus, seemingly more versatile, but he's really looking for a whip set up, so I figured I'd ask here.

The transfer wand is used for direct draw with the lsv, a whip for waterpipe use would be more suited to the ssv/dbv.

Though, comparable without waterpipe usage? Really looking for something as a big load/party bowl type vape, to use at his house during sports and such.

The SSV/DBV is prob what he's looking for honestly, but he only knows of those through popularity and never heard of the LSV, so I was trying to do some due dilligence

For use exclusively/primarily as a whip vape, the SSV/DBV is just a more convenient form factor.

They've got the same heating element, so for the most part all 3 of them are just as powerful as each other.

But if by whip Vape your buddy just means a direct draw vape with no bong, the LSV with the transfer wand is a pretty nice setup, but a log vape might also be a decent option.

Yes.
While I use the transfer wands, a couple dozen local patients enjoy the LSV with a whip.

Awesome, I'll let him know.

He is looking for a direct draw set up, just through a whip, something he can turn on, set on the table and pass the whip around a group while watching the boob tube. Seems like the LSV would be able to do that with the whip attachment linked from @Vitolo , with the added versatility of using with glass if he wanted.

Last question, but in order to use this with water assume we would need a LSV adapter?

i'm going to buy a dbv or lsv

i prefer using water most of the time, however i've owned a ssv previously and didn't mind using it dry,, at all! im thinkin about gettin a lsv this time around because it seems ideal for use w/water

but i only have one piece of glass and am afraid it might be too small
http://aqualabtechnologies.com/scie...d-of-life-sidecar-bubbler-with-lace-perc.html

i want to be able to do that lsv "spin" without hitting my head or the mouthpiece with the lsv

if it wouldnt be a good match then i'll just buy a dbv because i don't want to buy any more glass at the moment and i know that bubb and a dbv would be compatible

so do you think that piece is too small for a lsv?

yes, very similar in size to a mobius ion - just with a sidecar and no base

do you think i would still be able to rotate the lsv while drawing? using a shorty wpa?

what's a DHGate rig?

The LSV doesn't need a lot of room, so I think your bubbler will be fine. Agree with @Dangus that the shorty stem is probably the way to go, and rotate your LSV on top of it. The heat will be very close to your material, making for glorious, full throttle rips. I happened to receive a long WPA as well as the shorty, and I lately had the idea to use a Vapexhale Cloud EZ load bowl in it. The fit is just about perfect, and it shows how frugal the LSV can be with medicine. And don't give up on hitting the LSV dry. While I'm not crazy about the long transfer wand, the SSV GG stem fits nicely into the LSV. Like @Dangus says, it's a daily driver.

Hey guys, so just before Christmas I'd mentioned that my LSV had broke. Well I messaged them through the contact us portal before I went on vacation got Christmas, but never recieved a response. I've been back for about a week and have since tried contacting them through the contact us page 2 other times, with the same result. I also tried to email them with the email given to me by vapornation, again with no response. Anybody here who's gonr through the repair process who would be able clear it up for me or point me in the right direction?

What size screen do those of you that use a 18mm M2M use the same one that goes in the WPA? I couldn't get a screen to stay in there for the life of me finally jammed a 20mm in there had one good session but next to impossible to stir or cash effectively. Maybe I have the wrong kind of adapter mine has a bubble / globe between the joints but I've seen them where that part is more flat and a screen might pop in nicely, or third option since mine is hand blown its a weird size and I need to go LHS hunting for Chinese glass (shouldn't be too hard, one puts the price tags over the made in China stickers instead of pealing them off in the name of "cleaning")

Did you try calling? I have always called and got great service.

Definately call...there was a change of employees and the email service since November has been non-existent.

Calling was right through and problem located within five minutes with a friendly voice :)

I used one of the ones from the WPA. Sadly it kind of depends on the M/M adaptor. For me some have been better fits then others. The best fitting one I have has the bubble between and the screen fits nicely in it. Other ones required a bit of fiddling

I use standard SSV screens, whatever they are (Got a pack of 100 from ebay a few years ago and still have plenty left :))

I don't lodge my screen between the 2 joints, I always lodge it right at the bottom of a Joint.

It can be quite fiddly getting them in there I usually use 2 stirring tools, one from each side, so I can more easily manipulate the placement of the screen.

Basically, I have to bend the screen a bit to get it into the joint.
Once the screen is completely inside the GonG joint, maneuver the screen so that bend is now a dome facing "Up/out".
Eventually after some kajiggering it'll just sorta pop into place, and a little bit of pressure on that dome will flatten out the screen a bit more and make it stay in place.

All my screens inserted this way are super sturdy, and give me zero issues with stirring.

I got the LSV with all kinds of accessories, ice chamber, vapor tamer, and whip kit with so many glass pieces I've been kinda lost as to what goes where and especially screen placement because they don't look right the way I have them in.

For example, in the transfer wand, I just placed it in till it's at the end of the ground glass line (best way I can describe it now) not deeper but I'm not sure if that's right, and on the herb chambers I'm kinda lost on how far to put them in. Some pieces have an outside lip (like the hose adapter) and it seems that a screen would be best in there but doesn't seem to be a good fit...?

It would be great if there was a video (maybe you could post one :) )

Not really sure how I'd go about filming a vid, I'd need 3 hands

I can try though...

In the mean time, heres a quick pic just showing exactly where the screen goes when I'm doing it.

EDIT: Also shows the direction of the dome in the screen I was referring to.

Has anyone with an LSV used a 14mm male joint with screen and a 14 to 18 expander for a smaller "one-hitter" type load as opposed to using the much larger 18mm joint that I see everyone using? Wouldn't it vape more evenly and provide a richer hit with smaller loads?

Have you tried a basket screen? Like one for the E-Nano? I don't know if they're large enough to seal...

I've always wanted an LSV and read posts here often, the 14mm male joint was just a thought I had. It would make the LSV more appealing to me, unfortunately I can't afford another vape right now.
