Good to know!

But hypothetically speaking, if I was willing to pay a little extra for a non-reclaimed unit, with the travel bag, in my choice of color... Buying direct from 7th Floor it looks like $190 at 15% off equals $161.50, not a bad price actually. Any other good sales out there right now?

Also what is the difference between the "long" and "short" water pipe adapters?
Get the short WPA, from what I have read on the many pages, this is the one most people prefer

SMODomite,
Thinking of getting a lsv, how does it compare to a solo? will the lsv produce bigger hits from a bubbler pairing? i like large volume hits and have a pretty high tolerance. i pretty much only use bongs/bubblers. water for life!

Yup. Take a hit and then beat someone over the head with it.
What I meant to say was letting them take a hit, and then hitting them over the head with it would be redundant. :bang:

a quick session, in case anyone is interested

I like the mod you made for your stirrer. Could you explain how you made and mounted it to your LSV please?

Thank You...

changed the tip of the stirrer to a spike like shape with a file. the round tip as seen in the pics does clogg the screen very fast when stirring.
built it around the lsv threading, making it tighter with pliers

Its not that I am lazy, I am disabled. Thank you for the idea. :)
Sorry I didn't mean anything by it just lazy = didn't need to modify it for it to work with the device i.e. an out of the box solution if you will. I will be sure to watch my phrasing or add some /sarcasm tags ;) in the future.

I'm not sure I understand where you got the wire. Did you use the glass pick, and remove the glass piece, or did you use other wire?

So in my last order from the 7th Floor LSV shop they sent out a standard wand than the shorty I ordered, bit of a blow as I don't use the standard because I find it a little too long and unweildly.

The bright side is they are sending out a replacement as I type this, so it's all good. :)

Also a Large Microphone Shock-Mount plus a Microphone Suspension Arm makes for an awesome mount for an LSV.

Its fantastic for wand and whips, still playing around with it at this stage but for the $30au for the lot I paid, I'm quite happy.

What brand is that shockmount?

Can you tell me what make and model that shock mount is? It looks very sturdy...very clever. :)

its just some wire from the store, needs to be a bit stiff so it doesnt bend on its own,but still somehow soft to be able to work with it. torched the part that touches the herb, just in case there were impurities/residue in the wire.
i would never sacrifice my glass pick!

It didn't look like the wire that the pick is made from, but I wanted to make sure. Would you know what gauge wire you made your mod from? Its brilliant...you really should tell 7th floor about it. They could make a ring adapter with a pick that's designed to screw on and off, and sell it as an accessory for the LSV.

Is it normal for the glass piece around the ceramic rod to be very loose? When i first purchased the lsv it sat snugly within the device even when held upside down. Now, it falls out whenever i try using it with the wpa. Why? :(

If this IS normal, is there some sort of mod available?

thanks, i really like it myself, use it everyday. the gauge of the wire i used is aprox 1mm maybe a bit more. if its too thick you wont be able to screw the top cap back on. and yes i have thought too about a ring with threading including a pick made by 7thfloor. maybe really need to communicate this.

So the metal part that connects to the bottom of my unit came undone today, and it no longer works. Has this been an issue for anybody else? i ordered it through vapor nation, should i contact them first or go straight to 7th floor?

Do you have a picture of this?
@VaporNation perhaps deserves the chance to show their stuff and step up to the customer service plate, now that you have made them part of the post.
If they do not respond smoothly and in a timely fashion, then contact 7th Floor.
Not only will 7th floor help, but they will be pleased to know if they are well represented by the distributor!

My experiences with vapornation have been great so far so i'll contact them first. I cant get a picture currently, but essentially the silver metal piece that connects the cord to the body of the vape came off the body, so it is hanging on by the wire and i assume whatever stress that caused on the wires damaged them, so now it doesnt turn on
