K-Box arrived today......took it to the vape shop and the guy gave me a quick tutorial and a free bottle of menthol flavored juice
This battery is taking forever to charge.....ive smoked 2 cigs sitting here waiting for the light to turn green....

Hahaha it's good to have a back up or two or three.... U get it lol.

You'll be cutting down/stopping soon brother good luck! I'm at the point where I can barely finish one cig!

What charger are u using?

@NickDlow The one that came with it.....i figure i'll get a nite-core eventually because im going to need more batteries

Note to self: do not hit this thing too hard!! :puke:

Lol yea start slow n your hits will get bigger. Less cigs=more vapor!!! I still can't take hits like I see others do but I get them pretty milky.

As for charger, I skimmed a random battery forum and they said 'pila' or something is one of the best. Naturally I had an impulse buy and it was a good choice. It has a couple different charging speed so it won't overcharge and there's other protective features. But I'm no electronics expert but I like what I see.

Also I use my Haze chargers and in that forum I believe someone took one apart and said it was up to par if not surpassing other high end chargers.

Allways have a Backup is the best e-cig / vapor advice ever!!!

yes you will hear some sizzle and poping....

I have been loving my Kanger Subtank.... I have been using the RBA with it for the last couple days... I modded the juice channels on my RDA and it has been hitting great ( the rda channels just needed to be widened slightly) ,,, chain vaping with no dry hits..

I have some kanthal and org Jap. Cotton on the way... oh and I just ordered the SUBOX that comes with the upgraded rda subtank for only 59$ from - http://www.myvaporstore.com/Kangertech-SUBOX-Mini-Starter-Kit-Black-p/krsbk1.htm

Idk why I haven't shared this but I broke my Ed's drip tip that I made. The wood was just too thin and the slightest bump broke it.

So I figured leave it to the pros. Not to defect from my man Ed but he's a bit busy these days, experimenting with a new product on whole new platform would be overkill. But I WILL get him to make one lol.

In the mean time I found this place, http://molehillmountainartdriptips.com and they make custom drip tips. They have no inventory because I believe it's a small operation possibly only two ppl. One for CS and one for the actual turning. And as soon as tips are posted, they're usually gone within the hour!! They have been great with me so far. Kayte seems to handle their CS and Doug does the turning.

Also they take custom orders and are open to you sourcing the wood. Which I plan on having a matching DT for my Buckeye NicoMod from the scrap of the same blank.

While I wait for my mod to be finished, I managed to grab a Nagusta Burl DT. It's beautiful and functions great too. It's a very tight fit with double orings and just feels perfect on my lips, not like SS.

Go check out their gallery it's amazing. It's not just wood either...

Hey all got my Kbox yesterday in Black & i am running a .5ohm coil using the Ht Artic Subtank. Kbox is really nice for $18 i have to admit. I picked up some e-juice from my local shop , i went there and tried a few different flavors leaving with some fruity loops which i liked allot , got it with .3 nicotine bc i am trying to lay off the cigarettes. I primed the tank and i have to say this morning i woke up with a sore throat. I actually tried running it at all the watts settings starting at low and working my way up and settled with 30w.

I just wanted to say thanks to whoever helped me out here. After a night or two with the kbox and artic .5 dual coil subtank i am proud to say i can never go back to non subtank's . It is just such a big difference in taste and vapor. All this time i was missing out .

Ok fellas.....im supposed to be getting a little snap, crackle, pop right??

ha, yeah! you'll get used to it. I get it on both the 1.2 and .5 ohm coils, and I run low wattage, basically the bottom of the operating range for both, so it's not because of high power.

you'll learn to like it ;) it used to startle me, but now when mine "pops" and sizzles I know I'm getting good juice flow ;)

@NickDlow , sweet drip tip dude

Happy to hear you like the set up!! @Justpassedu

Everyone that's tries mine is an instant convert no matter what other tank they use. I love my subtanks, but believe me you made the right choice on the better tank. And ya it takes a little getting used to at first.

Anyone with a subtank and $20 to spare I definitely suggest trying out the arctic, you will never go back;)

Def liking it allot , after the 1st night with it my throat was hurting a bit but that's now gone. I guess I just had to get used to the huge clouds. Also puffin away on some fruity loops that tastes amazing. Battery doesn't last so long using the Samsung 25r but I'm afraid to put my higher mah pannisonic cells in it bc they are not high drain. I'm guessing it's bc I am running the dual coil sub ohm tank but after trying the dual coil I don't think I'd want to switch to single unless there is a big advantage .

@Justpassedu im actually rocking a .5 single coil in my arctic now for the first time.... You're right for sure, I'd stick with the dual's. The only advantage is longer battery life.... But the flavor on the dual's more then makes up for that I learned today. A single coil puts it on par with my kanger subtanks, but the dual puts it well above and beyond ime

Edit- I've actually got a fruit loops flavor in mine too! But it's got some cream in it too. The description says the milk after a bowl of fruit loops so it's not too sweet. Hands down my favorite juice of all time now after 3 weeks. It's called "cereal number" by D2 if anyone is interested:shrug: definitely worth a try. And I don't like sweet or fruit flavors Really

@ctxgooner congrats!

I got a kbox a few weeks back, for $19 bucks it really is great.

Got my roomate a Kbox/Sub Ohm kit, thing looks sleek as fuck and he vapes 50/50 juice...does it very well with the 1.5 coil.

Has your friend been using the RBA ? the pre-made coils are good but the RBA is better.. and cheaper in the long run..

I just started building coils a few weeks ago... This is a .5 ohm 5 strand of 30 g twisted with a drill, and wrapped 5 times on a fairly large tool ( not sure diameter ) really liking the flavor... Might try to go to .3 later... I'm really liking Sub Ohming..

Finally got a big bottle of some great juice.. You can also kinda see the juice channels on this subtank have been modded to flow better, they are about twice as big as they were stock..

@Detonator
Im just beginning to research building my own coils.....its a little intimidating but i'll eventually give it a shot....

Wrapping coils is definitely intimidating at first, but it's not as difficult as it seems. Just remember YouTube is your friend. I just started wrapping my own a couple months ago actually.

I've got some titanium wire on the way and am going to be trying out the temp control on my IPv4. It's supposed to be great... But we will see. Because of the low resistance in ti, I will be able to do a Parallel dual coil 16-18 wrap and still have it be around .2-.3 ohm. So much surface area the flavor should be insane!
