The battery will not be removable. Not unexpected, but people were still hoping for a removable battery... 😞
Source: Jurgen at https://www.instagram.com/jurgen_bickel/ where he states that the new vaporizer has a UL 8139 certification. I looked it up, and UL won't even test for that...
Hey, thinking about trying PEEK for my bearing... I checked out the Aliexpress link you posted earlier and going by the description, everything is PEEK, but going by the pictures it seems like the balls might be ceramic like the more expensive VXB bearings. Can you confirm if the Aliexpress...
Wow, that sucks! You clearly have the absolute best DV stem on the market, along with great customer service and very fair pricing... I wouldn't be surprised if this is just a continuation of the targeting you've had to deal with from certain other manufacturers.
I've had mine for about a week and have had the same experience across the board.
The cap is definitely a problem. I hope they come up with a solution, whether it's stronger magnets, or a sleeve or something else. It's just not pocketable as it is right now with the cap guaranteed to come off...
Or you could just flip the tool over to pull the bearing out if there were a second bolt included with a smaller diameter head...
edit: nevermind, looking at the pics again, there's no teeth/standoff allowing room on the other side.
I wish someone would make little stainless steel caps to screw on to the Anvil bowls. That would basically make them into airtight preloaded capsules. I'd definitely buy a couple more bowls for quick convenient switching if that happened.
Just tossing out an idea...
Could a round piece of plexiglass be precision cut for a press fit so that when installed, it would rest against the circlip on one side while being flush with the grinder's top on the other side? If that's doable, you could even offer different transparent colors to...
I'll second that. It just doesn't look like it belongs with the other two pieces. And the bottom edge bevel is different from the top. Even if it has to be flat for cost-cutting measures, I'm sure they can make it look better. As it is right now, the design language doesn't match up. :2c:
I have an Anvil and Dynavaps. There's no compatibility due to the sizing and integration of the bowl/screen with the airflow control and condenser. But there's room for an alternate design of the back end parts to incorporate a spiral cooling system. So you could definitely work your spiral...
If you happen to have a BCG, it's really convenient to pop the chamber onto the center magnet and load it there. Any excess just falls right back into the grinder.
