Thanks. Could you give me a more specific URL? I've been all over that site and haven't found them. They're definitely not on the "Step-By-Step" page with all the other instructions.

Are there any instructions? I've seen them used but not actually used one myself (plus it's been seven years). I'm not 100% clear on how the valve prop/tamp works with the loose glass valve to control airflow.

So--eleven days later and no update. No answer to any of my emails asking when you might ship. What's going on?

It's been seven years. I imagine I can wait a little longer. Any idea why Storz and Bickel were such dicks about it? I don't see how it wouldn't have made much more sense for them to issue a license. I doubt many people who wanted a Valloon bought their valve set instead. I made my own DIY rig.

Looks like I'm stuck on backorder. Any guess when a Valloon ordered about a week-and-a-half ago is likely to ship? Thanks.

... aaaaaaaaaaand it's ordered! Just saw this here. Been checking eBay for one at least once a month for the last seven years. Does anybody know whether they finally reached a deal with the Volcano people, or did the patent just run out?

Fair enough, and that was a concern of mine as well. I'd be willing to pay a fee to cover their costs if they hired a kid to upgrade M105s that came in. That way, the sauce stays a secret, and they're not out any money. My M105 is not defective. I don't think they should have to pay to make it...

Alas, I am both trivial and faint of heart. I don't think I would even consider this without Arizer's blessing and/or assistance. My hope was that Arizer would supply the software if not the actual PROM itself. I'd spend some money for that. Obviously this problem does not rise to the level of...

I took a look at the teardown post (page 93, for those interested), but I couldn't identify a PROM. Everything I saw was soldered in, which makes swapping one out much trickier. There's also a possibility that some other sort of alteration (say, swapping out a resistor for one of a different...

Forgive me if this has been discussed. I look around, searched, didn't see it. Has anyone been talking about how the software on the M105 might be altered to match the newer M107s or even the old ceramics? I love my M105. Favorite vape ever, by a mile. But I do wish it were a little hotter...

Having put in some time trying to help vapor newbz back on OG, I can feel Dorkus's pain. I like FC, but unless I've totally missed it, there is no way to search within a single thread here, which makes it hard to look for answers oneself, especially when threads are 100+ pages long. I'm not...

What are the benefits of convection vs. conduction?

I don't think the Arizer Solo is primarily a conduction vape. I think it's a convection vape. Yes, the herbs are in contact with a hot metal surface, but the main vaporization seems to take place as heated air is drawn through them, which is convection. I think the main role of the heated "cup"...

I got an M105 a few days ago, and so far I'm absolutely delighted. I find it a very convenient and civilized way to vape. There was a bit of a scent the first few cycles, but it went away quickly. Big thanks to the forum for hooking me up with the way to turn off the beeps. I have a dog with...

    Sodastream. Home soda maker.

If you don't mind my asking, what's the cost/12 oz. soda for flavorings and CO2 canisters? Can you get the supplies in stores?

    lung damage from vaping?

I'm new here. Pardon me if I'm ignorant of something the rest of you know about, but how do we know that vaping anything other than plain water causes lung damage? Has this been demonstrated somewhere?

Is vaping the only way to get high?

Forgive me if this topic has long-since been covered. Just tell me, and I'll delete it. It seems to me that vaporizing is the only way to get high (using your lungs). THC that has been burned is no longer THCit's been combined with oxygen to become something else. When you smoke, you're drawing...

The Bud Toaster - (currently: Model 14, version 3)

I find it fascinating that this discussion is still going on seven years later. I distinctly remember bleating my one-note "convection, not conduction!" mantra at you back then and getting a response that was considerably better thought out than my original comment. Forgive me if this territory...

This avatar was one of several I used. I'm new here... who or what is vtac? And do you mind sharing the name with us? If I recall correctly, you were calling it the "Black Leather Vape" for a while. Nice to talk to you again.
