I have never completely disassembled the Lotus cap. Do you have a guide? IDK how the lower plate is embedded, so I don't risk it.
As for cleaning, not really. I put two screens in the cap (before they even came with a screen). When I do "clean" it then a brushing and a gentle knock on the table...
If you're wondering about wood stems, I would suggest that you look at custom pipes and the makers' shop on etsy, and then contact the makers you like with some specifications. Shouldn't be too hard to get someone to make what you want in your budget range.
If anyone is looking for a cheap...
I just noticed... Must have missed this conversation :mad::mad:
I must say, that is quite unfortunate. It fits perfectly inside a small compact herb container like the medium Space Case herb container.
I should have bought 20 of them years ago.
Mine is around 5 years old like...
I've played with the PyroVap for a couple days now. A couple differences on my unit from @Dopevape's: no white material between the o-rings and my cap has a diggerouter.
Initial experience: I'm using 60/40 VG/PG ejuice and it's having a lot of trouble wicking. I seem to vape all of the ejuice...
Chaos gods live on the West Coast! Big upsets in the PAC 12, no one from the PAC is going to the playoffs. Great games though.
UFC was on point tonight!
Any 5x refined would be great. Some are cheap ($3 USD), some are a little more expensive ($5 USD).
In my experience there isn't a noticeable difference in lighter performance between those different 5x butanes.
Wasn't able to see most of the games today, just a few PAC 12 games.
The PAC are cannibalizing each other. Might not be able to get a team to the playoffs.
And UFC 192 was pretty mediocre IMO.
Dang, that sucks.
I'm thinking of ways to attach the unit to a wrist lanyard or a standard neck lanyard, you should do the same @VapCap.
A preliminary design for the wrist lanyard: https://i.imgur.com/y677NLP.jpg?1
A DIY one would be similar. Get some heat shrink tubing, slide the lanyard...
Certainly not, I'm grateful for my current set up. I've gone from 15 cigs a day to 1 or 2 a week at most. I plan on buying additional atomizers so that I can soak a few at a time while vaping on a fresh coil set up, but money's been tight for a little while and I spent the spendable money on a...
Basics: A coil surrounds a wick; cotton, silica or SS mesh. The coil is the heating element.
Not entirely sure what's going on, but this is my take on it: the cotton and silica wicks do not wick fast enough from inside to outside, so some eliquid is "baked" inside the wick which reduces wicking...
Haha, not really. If the reddit threads on the Okin are any indication, lots of people are either really hesitant or disgusted with the thought of using coals.
The vaporents user base doesn't really like alternate heat sources. It's basically a lot of battery or nothing type folks over there. A...
Meh, Washington was 12 point underdog against BSU. They had a true freshman on the road, got the game down to the wire and gave up 0 points in the second half. Plus, they only had a handful of returning starters compared to BSU. Not too shabby. By all indications the game would have been an...
I should have said that these are online/eBay/Amazon prices. Yeah much more expensive at B&Ms. One B&M tried to charge me $13 on a USB eGo charger . The lowest B&M price for kanthal I've found was $15/100 ft. Cotton is much cheaper because you can get it in so many different general stores.
Rebuilding can be a little frustrating at times, especially in the beginning, but it gets a lot easier and has become second nature to me. The biggest issue here is that if you choose an unregulated battery mod (no resistors) you would need to learn Ohm's law and all that stuff. If you choose...
Thanks for giving us a preview of the PyroVap!
What really intrigues me is the wicking system. @VapCap, can you give us some more detail about it?
I am eagerly awaiting more pictures and I would also love to see a user video. Can't wait to get my hands on one.
